The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh. For dessert we took home two cookies: one chocolate chip and one snickerdoodle. Yum! The cookies were huge, soft, and oh so good! We're more than halfway through our meal, the birthday girl is absolutely ecstatic with her eggplant rollatini! Unfortunately, she suffers from epilepsy and proceeded to have a grand mal seizure at the table. Everybody, in that restaurant, the staff, the customers, were so wonderful with their response to this situation. 911 was called immediately, the paramedics arrived and put my friend in the ambulance. At which time I asked our server to bring some boxes and the check. She already had the boxes in her hand and proceeded to box everything up for us and informed us in no way would they be giving us a check that evening! Can you imagine that in this day and age nobody does that sort of thing! But nope, I'm wrong Giovanni's is the place you wanna go to be surrounded by stand-up people with values that we just don't seem to see anymore! Of course we left What cash we had in our pockets, which unfortunately was nowhere near what the cost of the meal would have been. In another few days, the owners will be taking their yearly trip back to Italy to see their friends and family, and in the middle of August when they return, I will be there!
