My sandwich
Shirley W.

Sandwich was not as photo. There was hardly anything on it. I received a text saying it was ready. It was not. This is the second time they have done that. Wonder if orders are being tracked by time and they are saying they are done when they are not. Disappointed in my sandwich.

Good food! Great atmosphere! Great for a quick bite to eat and they have a drive thru. Everyone is nice and friendly. Restaurant is warm and welcoming.

Mysterious string in my pizza??

I literally just found a piece of string in my food, a non fabricated morsel of twine. I am in utter shock. The employees were extremely rude and now I can't even stomach my over-priced meal (which took 20 minutes to cook).

Burnt - cinnamon crunch bagel I ordered when I got there

I usually get my steaks at the Kroger meat counter but wanted to see if going to a butcher was worth the extra effort. I stopped at Kroger on the way home for some other groceries and saw that they happened to have angus NY strips on sale for less than the BFM price. I sorta had buyers remorse but crossed my fingers and hoped it would be that much better of a cut. It was. The steaks from BFM blew the Kroger steaks out of the water. It wasn't even close. Don't get me wrong, the Kroger steaks are fine. But BFM's we're just that much better. Like, obviously more tender and even just had a better all around meaty flavor. Definitely worth the trip and the extra money.

Based on reviews here I went to BFM. I was sad to learn they no longer do the fish sandwich. They…read moredo offer deli sandwiches, some hot (Italian sub, barbecue...). The person manning the drive thru was a part owner and very helpful. My pork BBQ sandwich was definitely house-made and as promised-smokier than sweet (the beef would have been the reverse). It was definitely the best drive-thru BBQ I've had with a generous amount of meat. The cole slaw was pretty classic; a little sweeter than I'd have preferred but still good. With a bag of chips it was a bit over $10 which seems to be market rate. Very filling. Next time I will order the mac & cheese as a side. And next time I'll go in. In addition to basic butcher shop fare, they also have ready made items (think Salisbury Steak, etc...) AND they also have a produce store with fresh fruit salad and a wine shop attached. This place is unique!

Thankfully, our two friends arrived first and got a table. It was minutes later the line started to form at the door. This place is popular! It's a cute place and don't miss the bathroom. I know that sounds odd, but 1. it's clean and 2. it's cute. I mean, check out Mona Lisa over the toilet. LOL The restaurant was hopping! We waited a long time, which was okay for a while because we had some catching up to do. After a few tables received their meals (folks that sat down after we did), I flagged down someone to ask if we could put our orders in. Once we got their attention, things got better. Mark go the Rueben with Chicken Pot Pie Soup as a side. He raved about the soup and wanted to buy a container of it to take home. We did not, but his wanting to says everything about that soup. He also raved about the Rueben. He ate half and was excited to eat the other half cold for dinner. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. It has a name that started with a "T", but I can't find it on any of the menus online or on Yelp. Doesn't much matter, it was SO good!! It was not messy at all. It was loaded with bacon under and on top of the eggs. I ordered it on marbled rye toast and devoured it. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. I ordered it with a side of goetta, which got confusing. The server explained the sandwich came with a side, but goetta wasn't one of them. I was totally cool with this. I wanted goetta. I just didn't realize the sandwich itself came with a side. What was weird is none of the sides were breakfasty in any way. I opted for potato salad, which I saved for the end. It was fantastic. It was super fresh and I loved the taste of dill. I could have taken a big tub of this home, too. One friend ordered the BLT. The tomato was two small slices of roma tomato. There was plenty of B and L, but hardly any T. I think it would have been a home run if the sandwich had more tomato. Our other friend ordered the Hot Italian. I didn't look like she expected and she thought it was okay. The menu has so many options and I would come back in a heartbeat, but maybe at 1 pm. By the time we finished, the restaurant had cleared out. Just a note. During the noon rush, I could see people waiting in line for what seemed like a very long time just to pay the bill. Plan accordingly and I'm pretty sure you'll love Tag's Cafe.

From the moment they arrived, they were willing to help with anything and everything. They steamed dresses, assisted the bride, grandmother of the bride, mother of the bride, and all of the bridesmaids, helped with bustling, and even went out to purchase additional food and drinks when we realized we needed more. They also acted as a liaison with the on-site wedding coordinator, which was incredibly helpful and allowed all of us to simply enjoy the day. What impressed me most was that it didn't matter whether something was technically part of their original role. If we needed something, they handled it, always with a positive attitude and without hesitation. Every request, big or small, was taken care of. Having the Ivory House team there gave us such peace of mind on an incredibly important day. They anticipated needs, solved problems, and took care of our entire group from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them to any bride and family. They were invaluable!

Here is what they did well: - great bread, truly amazing as house made - gelato was fantastic - pretty inside/decor - sides were pretty good Here is where it went south: - our serve was very casual and almost seemed put off by us. Not attentive, not overly welcoming or friendly - my girlfriend stated it was my birthday, an our waitress saw me with a birthday gift and no acknowledgement no asking oh is it your birthday? Meanwhile 2 other tables received a happy birthday, with a candle and dessert - when going to a "steakhouse" is that you go there expect to have an amazing steak. Not the case, my "medium" steak was cooked half medium half rare. For a filet it was also very fatty. when I asked the server (probably 25 minutes after our food was served) she said it didn't look medium and offers to put it back on. no apology Overall it felt very underwhelming and when you pay $70 for a steak you expect it to be right. On top of that celebrating a special occasion, for a $200 meal for 2 people, it Was a bland experience. We've heard amazing reviews so hopefully your experience will be different than ours! We said we'd give it another shot but not going with steak.
