I had a sausage pizza (which was a little spicier than I expected) with lots of vegetables on top since you aren't buying vegetables in 75 cent increments. Salad was delicious (Green Goddess dressing can fix a lot of sad salads) but the lettuce was kind of anemic looking. Good cherry tomatoes though. Unfortunately, the closest one is one hour away from me, but there is the location at GMU, but it's not open all year long ! So brand wise, I'm in love! They are the only pizza place with an actual Keto pizza! This location was amazing! It was very clean, but the most important thing is that the lady who made my pizza was obviously well trained on making the best pizza and high customer service standards! She was so patient! So disappointed In the Westminster store. This was burnt around the outside. There were 10 small pieces of meatballs that were dried out. Wanted to heat up but was concerned it would be inedible. Personally, this is my least favorite Blaze Pizza, and personalized pizza place of all time. The main reason I do not like them is because their ingredients are not fresh. I truly believe that the best way to see the food standards of a restaurant is through their greens. I ordered a side salad. The lettuce was old and not only that, but it had been sitting in the refrigerator so long that the croutons were stale and soggy. At other chain personalized pizza places, they often give you the option to "modify" your salads as well. Here there is only the chose between a plain caesar or a berry salad. I thought okay well maybe there is just not a high enough demand for salads here. But then I got arugula as one of the toppings for my pizza after it was done cooking and that was also old. Absolutely disgusting. I wanted to order a dessert here as well but the odds that that also would be stale were just too high to risk it. The customer service here is also lacking. We ordered online and the food was not ready when it said it would be and then took an extra 20 minutes after we arrived to the restaurant. Lastly the vibes of this places are far from warm and inviting. Feels closer to a prison with how dark and cold it is inside. And quiet, but still having all sounds echo. read more

With their quick and easy process of picking your favorite toppings for your thin or thick crust pizza you'll be enjoying fresh ingredients that will be all warm and toasted from the oven fire. You should be prepared to know what you want or at least know what you don't want. It'll be easier to tell them maybe what you don't want and then you can let them pile it up high for every bite to be full of your favorites. I always stick with ordering in person because the app doesn't let you customize your pie as much as you can in person. I always opt for a pesto topping on the pie and the crust with white cream sauce drizzled through out. I came into Blaze Pizza on a busy Friday night and it was clear that staff was a little overwhelmed. I tried to order the Green Stripe but did not receive it. For whatever reason, the arugula and pesto were left off, leaving me with a chicken and red pepper pizza, very tasty but not what I'd expected. My girlfriend's double pepperoni, which I had the leftovers of, was phenomenal. While most patrons got their pizza in a box regardless of whether they were eating in or carrying out (including two who ordered after me and received their pizza before me), I got mine on a molten hot metal tray that was way too hot to the touch. The pizza wasn't cut too well and the plastic knife and fork available for patrons didn't do the best job of cutting through the hot pizza. The tines of the fork actually melted a bit. I'm not opposed to getting carryout from here (the pizza tasted very good, after all) but I don't know that I'd eat in again. read more

We have been to the Laurel location before, service has been fine, pizza was good. We are here on Saturday night at 8pm, they really need more help, the counter and floor really need cleaning. I've been wanting to try Blaze for a while and finally stumbled upon this one yesterday. I thought to myself that it couldn't be much different than &pizza or 1000 degrees but I THOUGHT WRONG. I'm horrible at build your own restaurants but I always shoot my shot. The spicy red sauce and spicy vegan chorizo combo gave me more than I bargained for and exactly what I wanted, at the same time. It's great to have a choice of only a half pizza. A whole one is a struggle when you're on the road and leftovers aren't really feasible. The crust is super crunchy has a unique taste that leaves you wanting more. The only thing I took a point off for was that there was no egg offered. That's become a staple for me with pizza but I'm willing to let it go because everything else is so good. The Caesar salad was surprisingly fresh considering it's sitting on a food bar. Great place for a make your own pizza. My daughter got a plain cheese and I got a mix of toppings on mine. I actually think the plain pizza was better! It's set up like a Chipotle style ordering system, you pick your own toppings and they bake the pizza for you. I was disappointed with Blaze. I literally waited 45 minutess in line for a pizza that didn't taste better than a DiGiorno. You know how every time there's a long line it doesn't mean what's at the front of it is worth the wait? Mmm hmm this was that experience. Walked up and down and decided we would just grab a quick pizza. Quickfire is one of their mottos. We swing in Blaze believing this would be the fastest food option close to the theater. I was famished after working all day and just wanted something decent, real, and quick to eat before the movie. Not yesterday evening though. I did ask other patrons standing in line, if this was the norm for the line to be so long, and they said it wasn't. So I figured okay, must be worth waiting. As the minutes ticked by, we said farewell to those in line that couldn't wait any longer, chatted with some who were being loudly verbal about their distaste in wait time, and looked at the menu options online as we crept towards the front. I finally made it to the front and because I had an ample amount of time to look over their website, I knew exactly what I wanted. The young lady who took my order was very thoughtful and asked me if I had enough sauce, cheese and toppings as she went along. I did a preappreciate the meticulous nature they showed as they put the toppings around the pizza. Making sure they were evenly distributed. I chose to build my own (byo) and ordered the spicy red sauce, chicken, turkey meatballs, green peppers, artichokes, vegan cheese, mushrooms, and black olives. I really wanted some jalapenos but they weren't fresh so I left those. I enjoyed looking at the brick oven and watching the gentleman turn the pizzas and such. It was ready in less time it took for us to stand in line. We paid then sat down to hurry and stuff our mouths so we didn't miss more of the movie. First glance, I noticed none of the toppings were charred or welted. However, first bite I noticed a burnt taste and looked at the bottom and thought, I would like the perfect in-between for all of it (done bottom and cooked veggies) Is there not a middle ground? I feared an upset stomach was in my future since those toppings weren't hot at all. I was looking forward to burning the roof of my mouth in my make-it-to-the-movie-before-the-credits-ended haste. But . . . there was no need to fear. Beautiful three fire brick oven but toppings weren't hot. On top of that ;-) lol. The toppings with just regular toppings. My Via UberEats, friends and I ordered the Family Fire Pack (a large Meat Eater speciality pizza and a Cheese pizza) and some Dough Knots. It wasn't the best pizza ever and in fact the bottom of both pizzas were a little burnt which made it a little tough to bite through. I don't think the pizzas were particularly tasty either. My friend and I were both craving pizza and what better place to go than Blaze right?! Well this was my first time at this location and I don't think I'll be in a hurry to come back. Let me tell you why. So I ordered the green stripe and requested the garlic pesto sauce (which they were out of...that's fine no biggie. I opt'd for the spicy red sauce). Then they informed me that they were out of chopped garlic...ok that's fine again. My friend ordered his pizza after I did, but yet he got called for his before I did...ok that's fine, then the other three customers after him got theirs as well. He jokingly said, "did they lose your pizza?" haha! Did they? what was really going on here? I inquired about the status of my order and the guy pointed to a pizza which I had noticed sitting out for some time, and asked if it was mine. Um...what in the world?! Initially I thought it was mine but this one had sausage, which I didn't order so that probably meant that someone else had my pizza. Ok I'm over it and ready to leave at this point but they offered to make me a brand new one...ok sure I guess why not?! I added jalapenos this time around (the green stripe doesn't actually come with that). I took two bites of it and I was not satisfied. The frustration from not getting the right order made me lose my appetite and the dough didn't taste fully cooked all the way. I just boxed the rest up and left...please do better Blaze Laurel. Tried this place for the first time today. Ordered online with ease. Went to pickup my order in-store. I was promptly greeted and was given my order after a few minutes. The food was fine but there were errors. No olive oil drizzle on my cheese bread and I didn't get the two dipping sauces I ordered. My pizza also lacked the ranch drizzle I ordered. My sodas were placed on top of my hot pizza until I picked them up so they were warm by the time I got them (I picked my order up at the instructed time). Maybe I caught them on a bad day.
