The pizza itself was pretty good, the flavor and quality were definitely there. However, we ordered and paid for an extra-large pizza, which is supposed to come with 12 slices, but it seemed like they accidentally made a large instead. Because of that, the slices were incredibly small. It was a bit of a bummer to realize when we got home and opened the box. While the pizza tasted good, the lack of attention to detail was really disappointing and took away from the overall experience. read more

I placed an order online from their website for takeout on a Friday evening. I selected a specific time to pickup. When I arrived there was one person working the front and she was on the phone taking an order. A supervisor walked by and saw me standing there, didn't acknowledge me but it wouldn't have mattered anyway because my pizza wasn't ready. I stood to the side (there is no seating) and waited until my pizza was ready. Once my pizza was ready it sat on the shelf while the lone cashier took another phone in order. When she was done she handed me my pizza but I had to remind her that I had ordered a salad as well. Will look to avoid this location moving forward until they address the substandard personal and kitchen hygiene. Walked in and they were basically having a party in the freezer. One guy was picking dough off the floor and didn't see him immediately wash his hands. Another guy was preparing dough and started to pick debris off his boots then go back to preparing dough WITHOUT washing hands. Seeing how the staff were not following proper hygiene and lack of professionalism is very concerning and disappointing. read more

I finally got around to trying Marcos and it was really good. I ordered their pepperoni magnifico with romesan all over with garlic crust. It was so amazing! I also ordered their lemon pepper wings. I will just say those were the best wings I have ever ordered from a pizza place. I can't wait until my next cheat meal. I am ordering MARCOS. Job well done. Great quality food. read more

Nice small convenient pizza carry out. Can order your regular pizzas, cheese bread, salads, wings. They also have pizza bowls. It's everything you would get on a top without the crust. I ordered the all meat pizza bowl which comes with pepperoni, ham, sausage and bacon along with the cheese and pizza sauce. Filled and packed with all the toppings and a very decent size bowl. Would definitely get this again. Service was quick and easy. read more

Where did this place come from? I just randomly saw a commercial and thought, "why not?" Can't say this is easy to see from the road due to the construction. This isn't a place for sitting, rather for ordering and leaving. From what I could see, it was crazy clean inside. I ordered online, which I think is the best option as they have a fair amount of deals. My food was ready when I arrived, the staff were kind. The pizza was dope! The ingredients were crazy fresh, like the freshest I have seen in a while. Also, you have the option to get some type of crust seasoning which is an added bonus. My only gripe is that it isn't closer to the house. I will definitely be going back. read more

Ok... so I've been wanting to try this place for a while, & tonight was the night. I wasn't sure what to order but the staff was extremely helpful. I decided to order two specialty pizzas, the Hawaiian Chicken & the Deluxe with the garlic butter and romesan (Romano Parmesan blend) crust toppings. The wait time was only about 10 minutes, both pizzas were fresh and extremely flavorful and they are reasonably priced. My entire family enjoyed them, which is extremely rare. It's hard to please everyone. ‍ So I count it as a win and will be visiting again in the near future. I'm a pretty good judge when it comes to food but don't take my word for it. My husband and I have had this pizza two different occasions now. Each time, we have been very pleased! We have gotten the garden, which is pretty much a veggie pizza, a meat pizza, and a deluxe, which is a combination of meat and vegetables, on the two different occasions we ordered. They were yummy! The pizzas are very consistent, since each time we ordered them, the crust has been equally tasty and chewy and the toppings were just is plentiful and evenly distributed. I regret that I don't recall who helped us the first time that we ordered, but this last Friday evening when I called in the order, and my husband picked it up, Jason, from New Jersey, helped us, and he was great! Incredibly personable and knowledgeable and beyond helpful. I spoke to him on the phone when I placed the order and my husband dealt with him when he picked the order up. Each time Jason was professional, and represented the business and the brand very well. Lastly, the store was clean and well kept, and very inviting. YUM, Marco's! I've been meaning to try this pizzeria for a while, so I was glad that we saw this location while we were in the area! The menus offer various specialty pizzas, build-your-own pizzas, pizza bowls, subs, wings, salads, and various sides. I placed an online order of a small Deluxe (topped with classic pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, Marco's signature sauce, and a three-cheese blend), and a CheezyBread deal that came with a 20 oz drink of your choice. The pizza was piping hot!!! I usually don't eat the crust of my pizzas, but Marco's was so great - light, fluffy, and crispy! They also don't skimp out on the toppings, as it was heavy-handed in terms of the amount. The CheezyBread was pretty good, too - kind of like a small cheese pizza. I love that you can request 1, 2, or 3 sauce containers of pizza sauce, ranch dipping sauce, garlic butter dipping sauce, jalapeno ranch dipping sauce, or blue cheese dipping sauce - y'all know about some of these places who are so cheap and try so hard to nickel-and-dime you, restricting you from getting your sauce on?! The Hot Honey pepperoni pizza is delicious . I just decided to try it thinking I wouldn't enjoy it. It was the best pizza I ever had

I had Marco's pizza at a child's birthday party and while I'm not usually a big fan of chain pizza spots vs. brick oven style specialty pizzas, Marcos was really tasty. I liked this pizza much better than other chain places and was pleasantly surprised at how light and tasty the dough/ crust was. My nephew that usually will not eat pizza crust, gobbled down some full slices and that's what made me want to try it. I liked that they had a garlic butter sauce for the pizza but the mushroom and onion slices I ate honestly didn't even need a sauce. The wings we had were buffalo flavored and oven baked and were decent.... Not the best wings I've ever had but for a large children's group, I wouldn't hesitate to get Marcos to feed the party masses. read more

First impressions: clean establishment & polite staff. Visited the store yesterday to order a medium sized cheese pizza for my pizza loving kids, they loved their cheese pizza. Our medium sized cheese pizza came out to $13.77 with tax. One thing I did notice was that there were no tables available inside or outside this place for seating to dine in, so this place is for TAKE OUT or DELIVERY only. They do have comfortable benches inside to sit while you wait for your order. They offer their own delivery service as well as Uber Eats & Door Dash. Another Yelper also mentioned that the door was hard to push open, I also experienced this while trying to open the door during my visit as well. They do offer more than just pizza on their menu, & also offer bottled drink beverages. We will be back to try out more. read more

This pizza lived up to the 4 and a half stars rating. This was like Papa Johns on the next level. It's not greasy, its super flavorful and the cuts are clean. The guy there was super helpful and he explained everything to me that I needed to know. When I ordered here for the first time I was impressed with their old style pepperoni pie. My only disappointment was that the deals offered on the Marcos website were not offered at this branch. I opted to still try it, despite it being more expensive than other chains around. I am pleased to say that we ordered Marcos again and this time the deal offered on the Marcos website WAS applicable to this store. I'm hoping they can keep up with the deals the chains offer, bc otherwise it'll be hard to compete w the other chains. IMO, this is better than all major chain pizza. Three Brothers in Odenton is rly good too, less greasy than Marcos. But overall, I rly enjoy the Marcos pizza and def see myself ordering there a 3rd or 4th time. read more

As a pizza connoisseur, I and impressed by the great taste and quality of Marco's pizza. My family happened to stumble upon Marco's when we moved to the area and visited iHop for brunch. We decided to give them a try one Friday and I'm glad we did. As soon as we walked into the store we were greeted with a friendly smile. My first ask was, "do you have slices?" Unfortunately, they do not sell pizza by the slices, so we decided to try a small pie. The portion of bread, to sauce, to cheese, to toppings was perfect! There isn't a sitting area at this location so you're not able to dine in but that's true with a lot of pizza restaurants. Oh, we are from up north so my deduction comes from comparing them to the NY style pizzas I'm used to eating from home. If NY style pizza is not your style, do not take my deduction for anything other than a preference. read more

Marco's is fantastic pizza. This location in Essex is easily accessible and the staff is always very friendly, whether you pick it up or they deliver. We order for work quite frequently and I just picked up yesterday evening for dinner at home. Always great tasting food, hot, fresh, it's my go-to. Decent thin crust, but pizza made with VERY low quality ingredients. MOD or Blaze taste far better....and that's pretty pitiful for what labels itself and authentic Italian pizzeria. Sauce was flavorless, the toppings didn't taste fresh, but instead maybe canned, while the Italian sausage was meaty and plentiful, it too, was flavorless, as was the pepperoni....which almost never happens. How do you screw up pepperoni? Smdh. And the cheese... I hardly had any cheese at all! And while I thought the Pizza Bowl might redeem the experience, it's depth measured at LESS than one inch from bottom to top. The only reason I gave them two stars, is because they got the crust somewhat okay. I coouldve kept my $27 between a small Deluxe pizza, and Pizza Bowl, and gotten a far better option from the aforementioned, or even a take and bake from the grocery store. That's shameful. They fall short, and are definitely not worth the hype, nor was it as good as the commercials would lead you to believe. read more
