I was most impressed with Blaze Pizza. The choices of ingredients to top your pizza and the salads were plentiful and fresh. There were 4 different crusts for dietary needs. The service was good. Robin, as others have indicated, was helpful and friendly. She took extra steps to introduce you to Blaze if you were a new customer. Very likeable! I am a frequent customer who has commented on Blaze Pizza in Frandor Mall previously. The turnover in staff creates new customer experiences on a recurring basis. Some employees are friendly, some not so much. Some employees are are stingy with size, and you have to ask repeatedly for more of the same item ("more bacon, please') One employee who has been there the longest is Robin. She is hard-working, and engages with customers. In pre-Covid times, she would come up to you during your meal and ask how it was and if everything was OK. I visited Blaze on lunch last week. I'm a pescatarian and I don't like when servers use the same gloves on my food that they used while touching meat on a previous order. I asked the server if she would change her gloves. She was very accommodating and even made sure to get vegetarian ingredients out of containers that hadn't been cross contaminated by gloves that touched meat. Delicious thin crust pizza that you can completely customize with super fresh ingredients. I always do the Build Your Own and love doing pesto and classic red sauce, topped with mozzarella and goat cheese, plus whatever meats and veggies sound good that particular day. And they have Blue Sky soda on tap! I don't understand what any of the other reviewers are bitching about. The pizza sauce is delicious. No it does not have a ton of junk and preservatives in it and yes it actually tastes like ripe tomatoes. That's a good thing. Service was fast and friendly. Person whining about not enough cheese? You can get WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT ON YOUR PIZZA FOR FREE so just ask for some more cheese. Not bad! Very long line on a Friday night. Very loud inside, but the patio was open and sitting outside was really nice. Not a great view but good people watching. It was fun being able to customize our pizzas and each get our own. Good deal if you like lots of toppings because you can have as many as you like for one price. This is thin crust pizza but I noticed that you could order a stack of two crusts if you want a more traditional thickness. Pizza was not fancy but was tasty. This concept works. It's Chipotle meets pizza, and it's good. What I especially like is how friendly the staff is. Everyone down the line greets you and asks how you're doing. There are plenty of topping to choose, but 'pre configured' combinations if you can't make up your mind. On the s'more dessert, I was hoping it would be made and baked in the oven, which would be amazing. I would suggest they make it that, and they'd sell a ton more. I was just driving around looking for a place to eat with my kids when we saw the sign for Blaze Pizza and thought we would try it. It was our first trip so we were not prepared to order. You pick the toppings out as you go down the line to build your pizza the way you want it. Robin was super patient and helpful while my indecisive children made their choices (it took my kiddos a long time). She was so kind and made sure they were not rushed. The rest of the staff were also patient and kind as we made our way down the line. The food came out quickly and was great. My girls ate it all! Their idea of pizza sauce is just puréed tomatoes dumped into a food bin. The crust ends up soggy after soaking in the extra liquid from their "sauce." Love Blaze and try to get there once or twice a month. Some nights it's really busy. I recommend using the phone app on those nights. Tonight was the best! Orlando (Ollie) was on point at the oven. This is the most delicious pizza there is! It's like the Subway concept, where you choose everything...from crust to sauce to cheese to toppings!!! And if you ask the person on the end (who's cutting your pie)...they will leave the crunchy dark edges on it, otherwise they trim them off. I'm not fond of the industrial atmosphere, the hard surfaces make it quite loud. It's not a real cozy atmosphere so maybe next time I'll get mine to go? read more
