From the time I sent the order on-line, until the time I found the phone number and called - my pizza must have already been in the oven. The order form on the website would not allow me to request the mushrooms to be chopped up. I had to call to make sure the mushrooms were chopped up - hard to chew when half of my teeth are gone. Whomever I talked to on the phone said "sure no problem" You also added tomatoes [which I did not order], and the pieces are big, so I will have to cut those up myself also. I don't like having my pizza sit on the porch - who ever delivered today doesn't seem to know how to knock or ring a doorbell. I am disappointed. What happened to the man that normally delivers? He was nice and always very considerate. I have loved your pizza and delivery people for many years. I have lived here for almost 20 years. Hungry Howies used to be my favorite chain pizza place, but somewhere along the line they started ripping me off, charging me for extra cheese and when I chose 3x cheese, thinking it would actually be more cheese, it was NEVER any different. I can tell you for a FACT that they do NOT put extra cheese on their pizzas when you order it. It wasn't just a fluke or an accident, they literally refuse to put more cheese on the pizza no matter how you order it. They want to charge you over $7 dollars for 3x cheese (it's NEVER really been 3x, that was always a lie), but put ZERO extra cheese on their pizzas. Every time, not a mistake, it's intentional fraud. So I quit ordering from there a few years ago. Tonight, I thought maybe they got their shit together and figured I give it another try. Nope, they moved across the street, but the only thing that has changed is they have gotten even worse. Hungry Howies used to be my favorite and now it is the absolute worst chain pizza on the market. Not only do they still rip you off on the topping, but they started doing something different with the dough, because it's tough and chewy. F'n gross. Don't deserve even one star. I was shocked how good the Gluten Free pizza was. Perfectly cooked, not at all "cracker like" which some brands are, and I was able to still get garlic crust. Toppings were thoughtfully distributed and it was overall a quality pizza. Will be coming back! read more

Ordered from the Holmes Road site, and picked it up. The pizza with asiago crust was delicious - just the right amount of crust, cheese, sauce and lots of pepperoni. The large greek salad fed 6 people! I appreciate the dressing packets on the side - and they gave me 2 different ones when I asked in the notes. They read the notes!!! Thanks Howies! It's not their fault - the only thing I can complain about is the parking lot that look like someone has been drilling wells. I drove into one without realizing it was so deep. If I was going fast, I might have busted springs or shocks. read more

The pizza was lukewarm upon delivery and I had to look to find any pepperoni (there were maybe 5 slices on the entire pizza), and the Greek salad came with the wrong dressing (blue cheese, seriously...) and the salad tasted funny and had tons of red onion. This is the 3rd time we have ordered from Hungry Howies on Waverly Road and West Saginaw. All three times have been very good. Gluten Free Crust is cooked perfectly.
