This Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is located in the Brea mall food court. It's a fast made to order pizza restaurant. We decided to make our own pizza which cost $8.25 each. We chose Garlic Pesto sauce, spicy red sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil, onion, chopped and roasted garlic, sausage, and pepperoni. The pizza was AMAZING since I love thin pizza. read more

When I finally returned to the Brea Mall, I noticed this new place in the food court, so I had to try them since pizza is one of my favorite foods! It was great! Yes, the crust is paper thin, but for the short time you wait for your pizza to cook, you can't beat it. The flavor is definitely there, the price is great, & the portion size fills you up just right! I have zero complaints. I wish there was a closer location to me. read more

Attention ALL Blaze Pizza franchises: Y'all need to step up your pizza-making game and get on this particular location's level. I don't know how this Blaze Pizza manages to pump out so many delicious pizzas in such a short amount of time, but they made me believe in miracles. Even in the chaotic atmosphere of a mall food court during lunch rush, the staff at this location manages to stay cool and professional. I ordered the make-your-own pizza. The associate did a fantastic job listening to me pick my toppings (because what's louder than a mall food court filled with whippersnappers young and old? It's a rhetorical question, so don't think too hard :P) and didn't rush or shame me for wanting ~70% of their veggie toppings. I've been to another Blaze location, but that place has nothing on this food court Blaze. I don't know how they cooked the pizza so fast (it was ~3 minutes) but there's some next-level wizardry going on here. As per usual, my pizza was a hot, gooey divine creation from Pizza Heaven (mozz, gorgonzola, and goat cheese is my Holy Trinity). The crust was the right consistency to hold the integrity of the slice without having toppings slide off. The only con was the lack of napkins (I don't know why establishments in this food court were napkin adverse). But luckily, my purse's napkin stash (I may or may not have been on Hoarders once...) came in handy. tl;dr 10/10 would pizza again read more

I've been to other Blaze locations and it was fine. This was the first time I tried the Brea mall location on Wednesday. I was the second one in line. It was very slow to get my two pizzas and when I finally did get them, they were burnt. My daughter's plain cheese pizza was all black on the bottom, completely inedible. Unfortunately, we got it to go and I didn't see it until later that day. Slow service and awful pizza. read more

This pizza save my time for lunch hours....they have good deal on week day and you can build your own pizza. The servers are friendly. Their thin crush is so good too read more

Blaze Pizza - Pick your own topping - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

Think Pieology but with a more sophisticated vibe to it. Plenty of cheeses, sauces, and super fresh veggies and meats to choose from. The prices are at par with Pieology and the people working there are super helpful and are open to give recommendations for those who are trying their pizza's for the first time. Absolutely loved the service my boyfriend and I got when we stopped by. They made the experience very pleasant and they were very easy to talk to. But when it comes down to it, I'd choose this place over Pieology anytime. I wish they had more locations like Pieology does because I'd definitely eat there on a regular basis if there was a location closer to home. Most definitely will stop by here the next time I go shopping. read more

Great service by Rash and Isajah! They were very kind and made the order process enjoyable.

The past few times I went recently the service was SLOW. I get it if there was a long line and I was waiting, but that wasn't the case. I'd figure they'd be faster since it's the mall. On the flip side, the food is was good! read more

Pizza - whats not to love a huge selection of toppings - it just keeps getting better open flame oven - winner! Done in under 2.5 minutes - ding ding ding... repeat customer for life! Okay, if you like pizzas, and you are passing through Brea Mall, stop here! Don't go on shopping, drop what ever you are doing... and get over here... Shopping and browsing can wait... satisfy your pizza craving now... and even if you don't have a pizza craving, then just stopping and watching a few people making their will give you one! Thin crust guys, so if you are expecing Chicago style then you are going to have to look elsewhere... My slice: Spicy Maranara Mozzarella Ovalini Mozzarella (similar to fresh mozzarella balls) Italian meat balls Basil bell peppers roasted garlic red onions black olives This was only about a quarter of the topping options, you can go nuts here if you want, but in my experience, sometimes moderation makes the better pie, too many toppings and you have a flat bread open faced hot sandwich... not a pizza... My pizza-rista (barista for pizza) Jake, made an excellent pie! Not too heavy handed on the toppings, but not light either. Just the right amount of coverage so that every slice had the toppings I chose on it. at $10 for a pie and drink, the price is a little heavy for lunch or dinner every day, but definitely worth a visit once in a while! And with so many different toppings to choose from, you have to come back to try a new combo each time! read more

Blaze Pizza - BYO Pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

Let me first just say that I have tried many of those Chipotle-esque, Pieology-esque build-your-own pizza place, but Blaze is by far my most favorite. The classic red sauce is a perfect blend of spices and herbs, and the dough--oh the dough. It's just the most superb combination of airiness, chewiness, and crispiness. It's the perfect texture. My go-to is the BBQ chicken, though I have also done a lot of the build-your-own. I order all my pizzas extra crispy since I hate a limp pizza. I have eaten at many of the Blaze pizzas, but the one inside Brea Mall seems to be the quickest. While it is true that there are many build-your-own pizza joints popping up that may be quicker or have more ingredients, Blaze uses top-notch ingredients and the recipes for their sauces and dough trumps them all. read more

Dirty utensil container. Poor customer service. Great food and great service!! Total time there and out: 15 minutes Service: was supportive and clear with their communication. I was hesitant because I normally add stuff I like that end up not complementing each other when put all together. I was hesitant and the guy making my pizza was super supportive by telling me I was making a great pizza!! He didn't suggest anything but made me feel confident in my choices. Again, great service :) Food: the "Art Lover" pizza with artichokes, ricotta cheese, chopped garlic, mozzarella, and red sauce dollops on top. No sauce on the bottom. This is all included in the pre-made "Art Lover" pizza. I then added grilled chicken, applewood bacon, mozzarella chunks, parmesan, roasted garlic chunks, spinach, and sliced cherry tomatoes. It was a GREAT combination! They fast-fired cooked the pizza in a brick oven and about 3 minutes later (after I paid) my pizza was ready to go!!! Awesome service, awesome food, excellent timing and great prices! All the pizzas are $7.95 with tax regardless if you customize it, pick a pre-made mix, or pick a pre-made combination and add stuff to it. read more

Thought I'd give this place a try , since I have only done Pieology, and just want to compare since I am a fan of this concept. I built one with no sauce with all cheeses mozzarella Gorgonzola Parmesan and ricotta , with just ham and artichoke garnished with roasted garlic sea salt and finish up with pesto drip and Arugula. When the girl garnished it with yellow un-fresh looking arugula I had to make her get fresh ones from the back, and just when I felt a bit put off by it the manager approached me apologized and offered me a free pizza next time, and this had earned them 1 star for providing great customer service . The pizza was great , loved the way it tasted and the crust was on point not too burnt and not too soft , I like the options they have for the arugula topping and the pesto drip is also good these are the 2 ingredients that is different from Pieology. This would have been. 3 star review from the bad Arugula but the manager had earn back one star for providing good customer service and this just means they care. I would definitely be back and I would say that I prefer Blaze over Pieology. read more

Someone please give Carlos a raise! I stopped by & the line was long. After waiting I finally got to the front. I overhead someone complaining & he said everyone else had called out. The guy was doing everything himself. Probably didn't take break or lunch because of how busy he was. Carlos still managed to serve everyone & multitasked like a pro. Props to Carlos! read more

Got a vegan pizza from here and I must say it's pretty delicious. Quality pizza with a good crust. I would get again.

EDIT 10/2/17: The store owner contacted me after my review, and sought my feedback in order to look into the incident. In addition, they provided me with compensation for the incident. I appreciate when businesses take personal attention regarding such matters. Initial review: I usually like Blaze and I've eaten here a lot. But today's episode was uncool. I came alone with my infant, was trying to put my baby back in the stroller when he knocked over my pizza face-flat onto the ground in front of the cashier. I asked if they could just help me clean up. They stared a bit, then just pointed to their napkins. I spent the next minute simultaneously trying to watch my infant while wiping up the hot pizza on the ground. Then left, with no help, no pizza, and possibly burned fingers. Protip Blaze, next time you see a parent alone with a baby in need, please go out of your way to help accommodate them. read more

This location provided me with quite the let down for my first time trying Blaze. Little cheese - even though I asked for extra, burnt gross crust, and barely any toppings. The pizza was still edible, but not satisfying and way overpriced for what it was... I will say though, the employees were all very friendly and provided efficient service... I will stick with pieology as they have never let me down read more

I like that this location is conveniently located in the brea mall but it's really hit or miss on how your pizza is made. Sometimes you get a good employee that makes a good pizza. Then other times you get one that for some reason won't put a decent amount of toppings on your pie. Even when you ask for more they seem put out and still don't really do what you ask. Those times your pizza just isn't a good value. Tonight was one of those nights. Oh well, I'll still come here every time I'm at the mall and roll the dice. read more

So we didn't really have a good experience the first time we tried this place but it was the location in downtown Brea. That was right when they opened. Decided to give it another try over Sbarro inside Brea mall. Ended up with the green stripe pizza and it was delicious. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian and they were all made well...no burnt edges and made to our happiness. read more

Great option in a food court full of choices. I am a consistency person! This is always consistent. The key is not to go too crazy on toppings, I know it seems like you need to squeeze every drop of value out but trust me, go eazy and your pizza and stomach will thank you. read more

I should have gotten his name but I didn't and I feel bad!!! Today, my son was craving pizza as we were walking around brea mall so I saw blaze pizza. Unfortunately, their pay system went down when i was about to pay and so many others had already ordered their pizzas. I know how stressful it can be in the fast food industry. This very nice man was trying to get the system to work and I can see people were getting frustrated and I felt so bad. After a while he started handing everyone their pizzas with no pay and I left because my son was already hungry. As I went back to check if the system was working again so I can pay, he said it was fine and to enjoy my pizza. I still feel bad but I do want to say I enjoy that pizza more then ever. I'm sure a lot of people didn't feel bad or went back to pay but this shows how kind this man is and I will be coming here more and make sure I pay and tip. Thank you for making mine and my sons day!!!!! read more

This place is great! I usually get a build your own (they have a preset topping menu items as well) pizzas. Today, I got a byop with spicy red sauce, mozzarella, parmasean, gorgonzola, applewood bacon, pepperoni, grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, onions, jalapenos, italian herbs, and sea salt. All that on the pizza for $8. The crust is nice and thin and just a nice tasty deal. The pizza comes out to you pretty fast and the drinks are refillable for free. I would recommend it here on a Friday night when the CPK is packed, and you don't want to wait around....eat here instead. read more

I love Blaze! Unlimited toppings?! You best believe I'ma milk that! So you get your gluten free thin crust you get that spicy tomato sauce then they ask you what type of cheese I want and I say ALL OF THE CHEESE! Then they give me like eight different types of delicious gourmet cheeses. Then they ask if I want meat and I'm like nah because vegetables that's why! Then they ask me what type of vegetables I want and I say ALL OF THE VEGETABLES! The artist behind the counter begins building me a pizza masterpiece sky high with garlic, artichoke, pineapple, zucchini, black olives, kalamata olives, araguela, basil, sea salt, oregano, tomatoes and so much more. This pizza is then fast fire with love and it's SO GOOD!! Ahhh you need Blaze in your life!! read more

I was excited to try something new while at the mall with my daughter. Love the concept behind this restaurant. If you've been to Pieology in Fullerton than you are familiar with the personal custom pizza experience. If you haven't, think of subway, but with pizza and better ingredients. They start with your crust and then walk you down a "buffet" of pizza ingredients and then throw the pie in their pizza oven. The favor was good, mine was a tad runny (the pizza sauce) and I wasn't given any napkins. That and the fact that it's a tad pricey for mall food is the only reason its not 5 stars. Blaze will be my go-to food joint at the mall court now. read more

Over hyped, I felt disappointed. The two reasons I gave it 2 stars is because of the white sauce and the customer service. I received my pizza and it looks great and I was excited but then I checked under the pizza and whoa (look at my picture)... Not any that I then pick up my pizza and it was just raw dough with the outside cooked. What a waste of money. read more

First time going here. I was pleasantly surprised. I like the make your own style of food. I pretty much made a meat lovers with spicy sauce mushrooms okives and pineapple. they seem to use really quality ingredients. This place probably is now my 2nd favorite pizza place behind Angelo and Vincis. But for the price it is my favorite. The pizza size they give you is equivalent to a large small or small medium at the other places. This place is really good if you like a lot of toppings. The pizza crust is a bit thin for my tastes but it is still good nonetheless. I will definitely be coming back here again. Also this place is good for couples cuz I think one of these pizzas will satisfy two people any more than that though you will probably have to get a couple pizzas but this place also has salads too. Oh and the blood orange lemonade is delicious! read more

SO SO GOOD!!! There is one that opened up in downtown Brea that I heard was good and had been wanting to try so when I was at the mall and was looking for a quick lunch I was happy to see this location had opened. The personal size for $7.95 with unlimited toppings is enough for two people to share. Me and my husband shared (3 slices each for a total of 6) and both got full. You can also get both halves of the pizza made with different toppings. We got the spicy red sauce and it was amazing. Delicious and can't wait to go back! read more

Blaze pizza is Awesome it's definitely my favorite fast fired pizza (pieology, pizza press, and I forget the names of the other spots similar to blaze.) the toppings and sauce are freesh. You really can't go wrong with what you order since you're basically making the pizza your way, it's like a subway setup pick your sauce, toppings, finishes (pesto, Bbq sauce, olive oil, arugula) and its pizza takes no longer than a few minutes to cook. Nice crispy crust, sweet robust tomato sauce. If your in the mood for a quick lunch I definitely reoming to blaze. I've been to many locations and all are always consistent. read more

Blaze Pizza - One topping pizza (chicken). Topped off with arugula and pesto - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

Finally tried Blaze and love it! I got the Art Lovers pizza and added feta, ham and Kalamata olives. It was the perfect decision! This pizza had the sauce dripped on top at the end. I was skeptical about this at first. In the end, the less sauce was the better choice I think. My girlfriend got a separate pizza with full sauce. After taking a bite of that, I realized the regular red sauce really isn't all that good! So I suggest trying out the art lover. Service was also great! First guy at the beginning could clearly tell this was our first time, so he asked! He then told us the process and started making the pizzas. Everything moved fast and he called my girlfriend "miss" the whole way down the line, which she seemed to appreciate. Something about the service was magical. Try Blaze. It's fast. It's tasty. It's affordable. Do it. read more

I've been eagerly waiting for the arrival of this establishment! Never experiencing the Blaze before, I needed to cross this off my bucket list! The pizza is great! Blaze Pizza - Its even better in person. I would hve showed my entire pizza. But, I jumped right in. This is the lone survivor of the 8 slices - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

First time ever trying this place and with so many choices my fiancé and I decided to try it. To be honest the pizza is so so I wouldn't say it's something memorable or even great. The review is more toward the staff, I believe the gentleman's name was Chris. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. We were waiting for our order and once it comes out he calls us out and let's us know exactly what happened with the pizza because it was a little burnt around the edges. Most places do not care to let you know about such problems they just give it to you and you go. He gave us options of making a new one if we didn't want the one that was slightly burnt. We didn't mind because it looked like it was just over cooked on that side so we said no it's fine. Just that he took the time to tell us and make sure we were happy is what is memorable and deserves the five stars. 3 stars for the pizza 5 stars for customer service. read more

So I've been to the blaze location in Riverside and now this one. It's night and day. The one in Riverside is so much better. This one was messy and not kept clean. There was food bits all over the counter and burnt pieces in the oven. When you are cooking pizza in the oven, those little pieces of charcoal are all over the bottom of the pizza. Seriously?!? Not cool. Will not be back to this location again. read more
