This is probably the best made pizza I've ever had at a Blaze location. The pizza was perfectly cooked, wasn't burnt at all and the veggies were still fresh! The only downside is that Blaze charges for extra sauces on the side now so it's better to get them drizzled on at the end. read more

Gone are many of the old favs (I see you Red Vine) and that paper thin personal size pizza crust. It's been replaced with a chewier large version than the original with a nice variety of toppings. Admittedly, this was my first Blaze pizza experience in many years- and it was pleasantly surprising. The crust is much chewier and the pizza makers at this Brea location were generous with the toppings- a big plus. While the pricing is about double than what it was a decade ago, it's somewhat made up for by the larger pizza crust and plentiful toppings. Of all the Brea mall court options, aside from the legendary Mongolia bbq, Blaze is definitely a good alternative. read more

Pizza Press has been my go to pizza for years but many of their locations have closed recently. I have tried Blaze a few times in the last year and it was good but not great. I didn't feel like waiting almost 90 minutes for a DoorDash order from the only Pizza Press left in my area so I thought I would give Blaze Pizza another try and I'm happy I did. I'm not sure what changed but my "build your own pizza" with the exact same ingredients I always order from Pizza Press was excellent this time. Every time I have ordered with Blaze, every single ingredient is always on the pizza and they have never been out of anything or left anything off and I order a lot of ingredients. My go to order is regular crust with spicy red sauce, both mozzarella and Gorgonzola cheese, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushroom, green pepper, roasted red pepper, pineapple, and jalapeno with balsamic glaze and basil pesto finishers. I love that they have an option to order your pizza baked "well done" since I order a lot of ingredients and I prefer a more crisp crust than having it be soggy. The crust at Blaze is a little thicker than Pizza Press so it is a little more filling. I do wish the crust was a little thinner but overall it was great. read more

I'm currently pregnant and I was craving for some pizza, since I was doing some shopping here I figured I would finally try Blaze Pizza. Don't get me wrong, the food flavor was pretty good and CR was decent. I just didn't like how I asked an employee how much was their Caesar salad and he shrugged his shoulders and said: "tbh idk, maybe $5, I have no idea, you can just add it with the meal" which I did, but he seemed very careless and like he didn't to want to be there, he was not helpful. The croutons that I got on my salad were not crunchy but more so stale and tasted soggy like they were dipped in water, whole point they were disgusting. I love arugula, so I was very excited for their herbivore pizza only to see that most of the arugula that was put on my pizza was yellow which gave it a more bitter old taste. I was also asked if I wanted balsamic glaze on my carnivore pizza which I said yes and I didn't get any so I had to go back and get some. I was very disappointed but I am willing to give Blaze another try at a different location of course. read more

Man Christian and his crew here are awesome.. My daughter just decided to have a get together last minute so we met at blaze pizza. Ended up having 12 girls coming and I decided to get pizza.. I frantically went up to the counter and ordered 7 pizzas.. It was hectic, but Christian knew what kind of position I was in and got me going in 15min... 7 pizzas... drinks all within 15min. They went above and beyond. I felt like I was at the Nordstroms of Pizza.. the service was 5 star. The entire staff, from the ladies ringing me up, to the gentleman spinning the pizza in the oven. They are charging $15 for a BYO pizza, but they are stingy with the ingredients. My husband's pizza was horrible. He doesn't eat red meat and they used to offer tasty alternatives, but no more. I don't mind paying a premium price for quality, but paying a premium price for an inferior product is a "No" for me. I understand why most of the locations have closed. So sad! read more

Keto crust was disgusting don't bother trying it trust me it tasted like cardboard. For being a franchise this the corporate office just screwed over all their franchisees by half assing the Keto crust. Also, asked for no onions on our 2nd pizza and they still had them in the pizza. I am a huge fan of blaze so when I say I had a pretty disappointing experience with my last order. Recently ordered lunch for my office and most of my order wrong. Most of the toppings on the signature pizzas were incorrect, one of my cheesy breads were incorrect and 2 of the salads I order were wrong. The employees were rude, treated me like I was an inconvenience for ordering, and then gave my pizza to the wrong people. All while I was clearly standing right there, waiting for my order. They had no other pizzas or customers to deal with, they saw me standing around waiting to be helped, yet they did nothing. The only reason I ever even got a pizza is because the other customer returned it to me. While the employees watched and didn't say anything. This was exactly what I needed. Dylan and Lena treated me sooo nicely even though I had weird requests. I can't have cheese so Lena used a fresh pair of gloves to make my pizza (she even offered a type of cheese that I might be able to have that was vegan - I still declined. Horrible Blaze Pizza location. I was there around noon time on Wednesday, June 8th. Apparently they hired a new worker who did not what he was doing. He couldn't spread the red sauce over the dough and only spread it to a portion of the pizza. He just lumped cheese on the middle of the pie. Worst of all, he did not put the pizza atop a wooden board (which is needed to load the pizza to the oven) when putting the Ingredients! The other worker (I assume his boss), came over and had to drag the uncooked pizza to a wooden board, which created a lumpy mess! I told them to remake it but they ignored me. Wow. I therefore didn't tip a cent. Horrible location and horrible service. I will not be back and I sent a complaint to corporate. read more

A warning to all, seems this Brea Mall location specializes in burned pizza. I ordered for delivery three times recently, each order was for three pizzas. The first three had black flakes all over in the bottom. The next six pizzas all looked like this photo. At least we were able to eat the toppings which were really good, but the bottom half of the pizzas were inedible. Corporate office just informed me that they would inform the franchise owner of my experience, but no other amends have been offered. The store cannot be reached by phone. Came here recently for the LABron promotion (go Lakers!). Although the wait was horrendously long, the employees were extremely cheerful and polite. It would have been easy for them to throw shade back at some of the complaining patrons, but instead, they treated everyone with the same respect I imagine they probably give to paying customers - despite the fact that many literally just came for the free pizza! Despite the long process, I was really happy with my customized pizza. Blaze has such a great variety of toppings and is definitely one of my favorite build-it-yourself pizza places. This place has gone downhill so fast it's unbelievable I work in the mall and come here on a regular basis and every time I've come here the pizza has been absolutely terrible not made correctly and just looks absolutely disgusting on top of that they just randomly added a new policy saying no refills however they have no sign saying that's the case, Don't waste your money here and don't buy any drinks here because you won't get any refills $3.40 later you'll be stuck with half a cup of ice. This is a review a second one the owner, Isaac, and I got in touch. All I ask for was a gift card so I could go to a different Blaze Pizza. What he wanted was incredible he wanted to know exactly the person I spoke to what color their hair was, what kind of shoes were they wearing? What color their ballpoint pin was, he wanted to know exact everything at that moment which at that point, I'm gonna be honest I can't remember everything except that it was a lousy lousy Pizza and he knows it. He wanted to talk to the person I don't know who made the pizza it's kids at work there, so why would I really pay attention to which one was making the pizza. He has my address my phone number he could mail the card but he wants so much detail. It would be a book so don't go and get a pizza and then think you're gonna get a refund. He can keep his bad pizzas I just won't go there again. I've learned my lesson. read more

Local Blaze location that family and I frequent when we want "healthy" pizza. The vegetable topping selection is extensive which is a plus for me since I don't eat meat. The toppings tend to be put on nicely and spread evenly or they will be sparingly and haphazardly put on. Sometimes they overbake the pizza and the crust and bottom will be covered in black burnt crumbs which get everywhere. I always get their regular crust but one time I tried the thick crust... and it was RAW! Like the whole pizza including the crust was raw. Never getting that one again. read more

I was charged for 3 pizzas and only asked for 2. I saw the charge on my credit card a couple days ago. I tired calling the store daily to tell them about it but no one would answer. I finally was able to go back to the store tonight which it was horrible to even find parking. The manager Jose was completely rude and sarcastic and said if i didn't have a receipt he could not refund me. I told him we didn't get a receipt for the pizzas and he said we should have asked for one! I said I didn't know we would be charged for 3 pizzas when we only bought 2. I showed him my credit card statement and he didn't even want to look at it kept saying no. Then I said well I drove all the way here for a refund for the extra charge can you at least make a pizza for the extra one he charged me. I'm a single mom and drove back out here and shouldn't have been charged. He said no to that too. Kept cutting me off when he spoke and was practically yelling saying there was nothing he could do and have a good day and walked away. I told security about the incident to make a report against him just in case he treats another customer the same way. Check your credit card statement to see if they Overcharged you for more pizzas. Ate at Blaze for the first time today. Pizza was pretty good. But I've got an issue with their menu "beverage bar. " I got a blood orange lemonade. It was good and I was thirsty. So, I knocked it back and went to get a refill. Blaze employee told me, "Sorry, we don't give refills." What? When you list your drinks as a "beverage bar" you ought to get refills on lemonade. FYI Blaze, Pieology gives refills on their soft drinks and lemonades. read more
