The service is quick, polite, and straight to the point. The ambience is comforting in a way that makes you feel like you're at a family gathering, but not a loud one. It's a quiet retreat with great food and good people. Cheese stretch: 10/10 Amount of toppings when you only ask for 1 topping: 10/10 (you get what you're paying for they don't skimp out just bc you order 1 topping) Crust: 10/10 holds its weight under extra cheese it's true jersey style with the way it defied gravity Ingredients: 10/10 they don't taste frozen, truly felt like a homemade delicacy according to my wife "straight from the motherland" Eating at any other pizza place is a waste of time. I had one plain and one Sicilian. The plain slice was pretty good. It's a neopolitan style pie which I grew up eating on Staten Island. The Sicilian slice was excellent. The crust was light and crispy and very flavorful. If you go, don't expect world-class dining. Its a hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. They get bonus points for having a super friendly staff that will chat with you about sports. Overall Rating: B+

The good: The sauce is savory and delicious. The cheese is premium. It has seasonings you can taste. The crust on the plain has good flavor. And the edge crust is crispy and chewy without being dry. The bad: the bottom crust on the plain slice does not hold up--- it's very limp. And again, the Sicilian slice lacked that Sicilian flavor. Its been a few restaurant visits since I found a square that I loved. We gave the girl at the front a simple order. One plain, one pepperoni, one pasta slice and one Sicilian slice. She seemed more interested in laughing with co-workers than my order so it was no surprise to see her only put three of the four in the oven. All the tables were appropriately stocked with napkins and condiments.... except for ours. Not a deal breaker but annoying nonetheless. Overall Rating: B- To be fair, it probably should've been a higher score because the pizza was pretty good. But I include service in my scores so their deduction was well deserved.

They also bring bread rolls and a salad when you get an entree. The pizza is also very solid here. They have a good sit-down service here, but you can also just order and take your food to go if you don't feel like sitting down. It is also very affordable here too. My pasta entree that I got last week was only about 20 dollars, considering it is very filling and it comes with the bread and salad. Overall, you should definitely try out this Panatieri's location!

And by naming them Frank, are the parents condemning them to pizza shop ownership? (BTW --- no offense to my brother-in-law Frank ) So this Frank's in Bound Brook has some issues: 1- the sauce is NOT pizza sauce. It tastes like an Italian restaurant wanted to add pizza to their menu but didn't want to use pizza sauce so they just used what they had on hand. Its not a bad sauce, but it just doesn't taste like pizza 2- it is neopolitan but its very doughy. Take a look at the pic. The crust is off-white. It is as soft as it looks. There is zero char. Zero crispiness. It's almost impossible to pick up to bite without losing all the toppings. 3- the staff seems somewhat disinterested in helping customers. I stood there for several minutes waiting to place my order while they were laughing and joking around with each other 4- very greasy and oily. This adds to soft crust issue 5- the slices lack flavor. Not sure if it's cheaper ingredients or being undercooked but it doesn't matter. It just doesn't taste like pizza and that alone is the reason I wont go back Rating: D+
