8/22/25 - I pregamed at Panatieri's Pizza in Bound Brook. It had pretty decent reviews and after last night, average pizza would've been a step up. The good: The sauce is savory and delicious. The cheese is premium. It has seasonings you can taste. The crust on the plain has good flavor. And the edge crust is crispy and chewy without being dry. The bad: the bottom crust on the plain slice does not hold up--- it's very limp. And again, the Sicilian slice lacked that Sicilian flavor. Its been a few restaurant visits since I found a square that I loved. We gave the girl at the front a simple order. One plain, one pepperoni, one pasta slice and one Sicilian slice. She seemed more interested in laughing with co-workers than my order so it was no surprise to see her only put three of the four in the oven. All the tables were appropriately stocked with napkins and condiments.... except for ours. Not a deal breaker but annoying nonetheless. Overall Rating: B- To be fair, it probably should've been a higher score because the pizza was pretty good. But I include service in my scores so their deduction was well deserved. read more

This place is one of my go-to's now. I like to come here for dinner and then go to Billiards Lucy across the street afterwards, so I definitely like this location. I like how there is a huge menu here at this location. I always go with the fettuccine Alfredo and add breaded chicken. It is always a hit. They also bring bread rolls and a salad when you get an entree. The pizza is also very solid here. They have a good sit-down service here, but you can also just order and take your food to go if you don't feel like sitting down. It is also very affordable here too. My pasta entree that I got last week was only about 20 dollars, considering it is very filling and it comes with the bread and salad. Overall, you should definitely try out this Panatieri's location! read more

The best Panatieri's for slices by far. Great selection and the crust is nice and fluffy, not too thin and not too chewy. We ordered a late lunch to go but while they were prepping our order we had a couple of slides at the table. There were many pies to choose from, i opted for a penne slice and they warmed it up in the over for the perfect amount of time. It hit the spot. We took a few chicken parms and salads to go and everything was great. The chicken parm had a few cutlets on it, there was not a bite without chicken. My shrimp Caesar salad was delish, the shrimp were freshly grilled for the salad and were the perfect temp. Dressing came on on the side which was great. I'll preface this by saying that I've been to several other Panatieri's establishments. I'm always impressed by the quality of the pizza and Panatieri's of Bound Brook is no different! When you enter the pizzeria, you're greeted by a massive selection of slices with various toppings. I decided to go with a square slice (not sure if this was the Brooklyn, Grandma, or a different one) and a tortellini slice. The square had a pleasant, fluffy base with a spicy, flavor-packed sauce, and a deliciously fresh cheese. The tortellini slice was excellent and very filling. It had great structure and foldability. Cheesy deliciousness would be the best explanation for that slice. If you've never tried slices from Panatieri's, you're missing out. read more

This is the closest pizza place to us and they make pretty good pizza! I'm usually satisfied with the pizzas I get here which is why I keep going back. I really like the Jersey pie which is a thin square pie with fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and has a slightly spicy marinara sauce. read more

This place is always a hit and you can get almost anything you want here. Went here last minute for a slice of pizza and ended up getting a slice, sausage roll and chicken wings. The staff is great and always ready to greet you with a nice attitude. Its in the middle of town and a go to after the HS games. They have specials all the time and a decent bathroom. I had a good experience with this pizza place. We got one pepperoni pie and one broccoli white pizza. The broccoli white pizza was amazing, I had no complaints. But the pepperoni pizza was extremely greasy and the pepperoni had a weird taste to it. Kinda spicy, and not what we were expecting. The pizza is thin, so I suppose that's why people complain about this place but I didn't notice anything too bad, and I normally don't like thin crust. I hope to go back and try the buffalo chicken. Recommended about this place and thought it was worth giving it a try since I've been craving some good pizza. This really hit the spot. You have to go in to see what speciality pizzas they have available. Quite unique: pasta on pizza (baked ziti and tortellini), cheesesteak on pizza, chicken and broccoli w alfredo sauce... check my picture of what they had in their display case.. Service was great. The grandma pizza is soooo good, and their Sicilian pizzas are just right. Get one with extra cheese!

The chicken on the chicken parm pizza was at least a day past expired. Took a bite, spit it into the garbage, threw the slice away. The ricotta on the white pizza had a sour taste to it. Had about half, threw the rest away. The plain slice was fine, but I could tell that it had been sitting for a while. Bear in mind, I was here about 9:15 on a Thursday night, so it's possible that if I had ordered something fresh it would have been much better. But I'm probably not going to take that chance with so many other decent places in the area. read more

They don't deliver and that's the only downfall. The food is good and the service is always fast. A pizzeria is nothing special but this place is amazing nice. This is for sure my after school spot with my kid. She loves the pizza and I love how huge the slice is. I usually have to buy 2 slices at any other place but here one and done for my daughter. She usually hates crust too but at this pizzeria she eats everything. I'm a huge fan of the buffalo pizza and the chicken roll. I have lived in bridgewatwer for 6 years now and I have heard of this place a few times by flyers or whatever else. Me and my gf decided to finally try their food. We ordered a Chicago style sausage and pepperoni pie and a grilled chicken and peppers stromboli. The pizza crust had a decent consistency om the pizza but the sauce had little to no taste and it was very scarce on the pizza and Chicago style is supposed too have a lot of sauce but I don't think it would have helped. The stromboli wasn't as bad and it had somewhat of a flavor too it but they also gave me 2 cups of sauce for dipping. They confirmed my thoughts that the sauce was the issue because it tasted like water which was dyed red. I had to add salt pepper a little garlic some sugar and basil to get a hindrance of flavor. Italian food is like sex. Even when it's bad, it's still kinda good. After my take-out order from here yesterday, I felt compelled to write a review. I ordered the portobello pasta. $11.99 and it comes with a small salad and some bread. This was the WEAKEST pizzeria portion I have ever seen. On top of that, it just tasted awful. The salad and accompanying vinaigrette dressing was the best part about this meal. The pizza from here is very average, as is their eggplant parm sandwich. My job is extremely close to this pizza spot so it's become a cheat-meal staple in my work week. (Don't judge me, I'm a good person with a pizza problem, OK?) Everything I've had from here has been excellent. They have a ton of variety. I'm talking grandma pies, speciality slices, wraps, panini's, nightly specials, hot/cold subs, cheesesteaks, stuffed pizza, and on top of all that - they have pretty decent prices. I don't mind paying pizzeria prices. If you do, go get some cardboard with sauce from little ceasars for $5. This place is my favorite pizza spot around Bound Brook. Definitely stop in. Don't be afraid to ask what each slice is lol everyone normally does. They're very fast too. Perfect for quick lunch breaks and what not. read more

Cardboard pizza! I would not patron them. We ordered the margherita pizza and the works to go. Both the crust was exactly like eating cardboard. The box it came in was probably tastier than the crust. Overly salted. We used to frequent the Martinsville location when Enzo worked there and then he left :(, now we are trying to find pizza as good as Enzo used to make and so far it's been a disappointing endeavor. Been patroning this location since it was next to quick chek on 28 in bound brook. The young Hispanic clerk tonight didn't know I was bilingual and was calling me a piece of s@;t in Spanish as I ordered 2 slices to go. Ask them to keep in for awhile because I like it hot. He got mad a spouted more obscenities in Spanish after that. Them the got mopping the floor came over by me to make sure I wasn't going to react! Didn't have too, that's what this site is for! This is the 4th Panatieri's location I've been to -- Bound Brook, Flemington, Warren and Martinsville. I think the Flemington location is the best but I go to the Warren location most frequently. It was my first time at the Bound Brook location. One negative about this location is that the parking lot is incredibly small and they share it with a Dunkin Donuts. We were able to grab a spot but I'd have to imagine that people come here relatively often and can't find parking. Upon entering, it's actually pretty small -- not too many tables. I'm a huge fan of the Panatieri's slice selection. This location had about 15 different slice pies to choose from -- as an FYI, the Warren location consistently has the most selection. I went with a Buffalo Chicken and a Cheesesteak slice. I get these two slices pretty regularly at Panatieri's, along with a few others. Each location does a couple of things differently from the others. For example, the Buffalo Chicken slice in Bound Brook was drizzled with blue cheese while the other locations don't do that. I actually wasn't as big a fan. I like the hot sauce and regular cheese, sans the blue cheese. However, the cheesesteak slice here was great. There was a ton of cheese and a ton of meat -- a winning combination. I always order it with a side of marinara sauce. Definitely the best cheesesteak slice I've had. This location is not the most convenient to where I live but I'd stop back here if I was in the area. I'm a huge fan of Pantieri's, in general, because they have such a good slice selection and it's always so unique. Solid spot except for the limited parking. read more

The two guys that work there have an attitude problem. Never smile or say hello. They don't get the concept of customer service. The girl at the front counter is nice enough. Unfortunately they have the best pizza in the area. I wish I could go elsewhere to support a friendlier business, but their pizza isn't as good. read more

As someone else said, it's cardboard pizza. Just awful. Tried the BB location since the Martinsville one is also making cardboard pizza. Both locations are using corn meal on the bottom of the pie and it's just terrible. The pizza is always overdone. Even the plain!! Giving it two stars since I haven't tried their other food. Manager and staff extremely rude. I brought a large pizza pie with me and my 8 year old son. When I got home opened it up n cheese was hanging over the crust everywhere..looked horrible and never seen a pizza pie as bad...brought it back and before the manager even seen the pizza he accused me of driving crazy with my son in the car to make the pizza cheese sloppy...I live 1 min away. I live in the town and I go they frequently for a slice or two. My 6 year old son loves their Chicken Marsala Pizza and my wife an I like the squire pizzas a lot. Last time we got a squire pizza pith everything on it and we both loved it. The staff is always nice and polite to as well read more

The service at this place sucks. I'm pretty easy to please so I'd like to believe that if I'm moved to write a review, it's either because I'm extremely impressed or very disappointed. This one is the latter. I've eaten at 2 other Panatieri's and the pizza as well as service is good. I ordered two pies that were overpriced and did not live up to the Panatieri's standard. I absolutely love pizza. I've been in love with it since a toddler and I've eaten my share over the years. One of the pizzas I ordered was an extra cheese pie and it had the same amount of cheese that a regular pie has. When I asked if it was made with extra cheese, I was given as blank stare and an answer of yes. I know an extra cheese pie and that wasn't it. I'll never go back to this place. As far as the other pie, which was topped with chopped tomato, I couldn't stomach more than one slice. What a waist of money. These two "small" pies ran me 28.00. My family and I used to go in for pizza or do take out often. We loved their pizza and their special on Tuesdays when they offered $2 off a pie. It was perfect. Then.......Something changed!
