Wandered upon Blaque Parlor last night. And Yes. Yes yes yes! The funnel cake and ice cream were delicious and very much artisanal in nature. What do I mean by that? They taste beyond fresh and, well, like they're specially made for you. And the funnel cake actually was... it smelled like a county fair but tasted much better. One of the best I've had. The ice cream was soft, creamy and full of flavor. We had the cotton candy with cookies & cream. Before you say 'gross' please be advised... they can separate them if needed. Which we took them up on. The whipped cream was soft and oh so good combined with the cotton candy- again, shockingly amazing. All of it was just that, too. Even the couple inside the truck. So cool, so friendly. Def. going back again and again.

Visited Blaque Parlor recently and everything was a hit. First, they're open late so it's perfect for that late night craving. Ordered mint chip and cookies and cream and SO creamy and perfect. If you get the black waffle cone, it's made fresh so you have to wait a few minutes, but it's totally worth it. Going to definitely be visiting again soon.

Got the Rainbow Road for the kiddo in black cone. It was like a shaved ice and sorbet had a baby. It was light, sweet and perfect dessert after having some Nashville hot sandwiches from Hot Motha Clucker. It's in the same parking lot. During the day it's a car wash and and after the car wash is closed, the hot chicken sandwiches and ice cream take over!

Y'allllllllll let me put you onto something! This cute little retro truck sells everything from horchata and Thai tea to ice cream and shakes and even funnel cakes and mini churros! They're always on point with the friendly fast service I've munched out here quite a few times and I honestly don't know if I have a favorite thing it's all so good you can't go wrong!

We randomly stumbled upon Blaque Parlor while visiting Hot Mother Clucker. We decided to come back another day to try out their funnel cakes and ice cream because we had already bought chicken. After trying out their ice cream, house made cones and funnel cakes we were pleasantly surprised at how incredible it tasted. We usually enjoy afters for ice cream and we felt as satisfied if not more with Blaque parlor. Nico and Ashley are an awesome duo. Excellent customer service and cleanliness. I recommend everyone to give it a shot next time they are in the mood for some dessert.

A charming little new food truck concept right here in the SFV. Now we don't have to go to downtown LA to get black ice cream! Actually, only two of their flavors have activated charcoal, currently they are the orange sherbet and the vegan lemon ice. You can also get a WARM black waffle cone made fresh to order! Two flavors in a waffle cone will be $8, ($6 for the ice cream and $2 for the cone). Activated charcoal can be good for you! It purportedly can remove toxins from your body, aid in digestion, whiten your teeth and help cure hangovers! Via black ice cream! The orange sherbet was creamy and super subtle. The lemon ice was also light and tasted like frozen lemonade. I can't wait to bring a hungry friend back to share the FUNNEL CAKE, $15, which I'm gonna top with black ice cream of course...photo op! If black ice cream isn't your thing, they also have regular (colored) flavors like: cookies & cream, rocky road, rainbow sherbet, mint chip, strawberry cheesecake, as well as three additional vegan flavors- rainbow road, cotton candy & blueberry blast. I guess I'm gonna have to try them all! This is located right next to Hot Motha Clucker at the Sherman Oaks Car Wash. It can get chilly out here after the sun goes down so grab a jacket or, as I saw some people doing, grab a blanket out of your car. Blaque Parlor is here, Wednesday - Sunday, 7:00 - 11:00 pm. Had a craving for something sweet the other night and we decided to come here. They are parked in the car wash after hours alongside another food truck type deal that sells chicken (my husband said is amazing). The parking lot is a sea of cars awkwardly parked but there was definitely room to park. The girl who took our order was friendly and knowledgeable. The Blaque products have activated charcoal in them- they look like just a flavored ice but the taste was better than expected and actually had a thicker texture. Ice cream was good I got cookies and cream it was really sweet with a whole lot more cookies than cream! If you're just getting ice cream it's basic but the blaque charcoal is what I would go back for if you are looking for something refreshing instead of sweet read more

Braque Parlor has the scoops! I got the waffle cone and two scoops of ice cream. The wafted cone was hand made on the spot, it was so fresh. I got cookies and cream and rocky road, both authentic flavors. Everything was fresh and made to order. Can't wAit to come back to try the funnel cakes and other things on the menu. read more

Super fun ice cream truck to have cater your work party. They were reliable and very communicative. Their fresh cones came hot off the waffle iron and were so delicious. We didnt have as many people show up at the work party as we had originally anticipated and so they gave us a bunch of leftover ice cream to enjoy. read more

Look for a blue truck behind the carwash. Got the cookies and cream in a black waffle cone. The ice cream was yum and so was the cone- it was made on the spot and was light, crisp still kinda warm and soft when I got it. They take card for a 30 cent fee. read more

Established in 2016.

In May of 2016 Blaque Parlor sold its first scoop of ice cream, and we were the very first parlor to specialize in black ice cream! Blaque Parlor started with small events such as birthdays of no more than 15 people. We now host all sorts of events with up to 500 people, and take our food truck all over Southern California! Since opening, through trial and error, we have perfected our recipes and take great pride in everything we serve.

And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

Sprouts had it, once I actually started eating it, they discontinued it lol. I love that for the majority of flavors it's so much cleaner than other brands. I realized there was flavors I wanted to try, not in those stores. I texted cs (SUPER helpful btw) but they told me the stores had all the flavors. GCM can be a pain, and my friend sent me a story about that store, so I'm glad I ended up in studio city. I wrote her name but can't find it. I think it was Mirka. So sweet and helpful. She was patient while I tried some of the flavors I had curiosity around but had never seen in the stores. At the time the double strawberry sees collab flavor was new, tried it and liked it. The pbj needed strawberry jelly instead. There was other flavors I hadn't heard of. It was nice to be at the helm of the flavors lol. I did a sampler flight and got the strawberry sees one to go home. I will say, it's $13 in store, and a while back WF had a kick ass sale and I paid $4! But they didn't have all the flavors! So I suppose it's worth it lol. I came again w a friend. I wanted to do the corn and berries and try the berry crumble. I was so intrigued by corn and berries, but let me tell you, it's chillin w its cousins in my freezer! I should've taken a pic of my freezer at the height of the sale! I think I have 8 pints in my freezer. Don't judge me. Some of my faves: summer corn & blackberries, brown sugar w milk Bordeaux, banana cream w toffee ettes, sea salt cream & cookies and golden state vanilla. I love churros & sprinkle cake - only available here. Haven't brought them home yet but they were part of my flight. I find it interesting, of all the flavors they find strawberry oversaturated, so you can only buy it here or online. I'm not big on chocolate but even w the ss cream & cookies, they're house made cookies and SO good! Despite the name, I didn't realize chocolate w polar bear paws was a chocolate based ice cream, again lol don't judge me. Most chocolate ice creams I've had in the past are hard to get through. Let's just say that pint lasted 2 days once opened. I probably would buy it on a rare occasion but I was surprised with how smooth it is. I brought my friend with me the second time, she got the Bordeaux one after tasting. I tried to tell her it was available at WF, but that's not her usually store so she paid it. Again I'm struggling with the name of the guy that helped us. Kind and patient. Obviously I'll be back when something I'm intrigued by is only here or online. I'm extremely happy that they don't just deliver an epic product, but the service also lives up to it. It's a place I'll happily return.

Ok, ok, ok. McConnell's has pretty darn good ice cream…read more I normally stick with the sweet cream, but this time I got the dulce de churro with a scoop of salted caramel banana. Solid combo. Kind of like a horchata with caramelized banana. My wife loved the berry crumble with matcha, especially the little crumble chunks. Honestly, though, half the reason we come to this location is the big bench outside. You can sit there, eat your ice cream, and watch people and dogs stroll by. This stretch of the street has had a major glow-up and is always bustling now. Perfect late-afternoon activity.

I really love their chocolate donuts and their Nutella one. Yum. I also love how they have so many other offerings from cold bottled beverages, to sandwiches, boxed up cut fruit and even little bags of chips. This is the true definition of neighborly love and hometown goodness. They have a vast range of donuts and don't sleep on their bagels. If you ask, they'll make you an awesome breakfast sandwich fully customizable. I'm an everything bagel toasted twice with ham, egg and onion. Also another recommendation would be any of their bear claws and turnovers (puff pastry with jam filling). Added plus are the hours, I'm an early bird type so getting a breakfast sandwich at 4:00 am while being greeted with the best smile is a win in my book all day long. The specialty donuts can sell out so if you're a maple bacon type person show up before noon. They have plenty of drink options as well. From juices to healthy drinks and energy drinks and coffees. There's table seating if you choose to dine in too. Parking has never been an issue because there's the lot out front and a garage below if the lot is full. I've never had to park down in the garage.

My go-to order is always the turkey & cheese on a croissant with an iced coffee (sometimes even iced decaf) and i've never been disappointed. I stumbled upon these cookies while strolling around the Northridge fashion center on the second floor near Macy's on a Sunday afternoon. The owner of this small business is so friendly and let me try several samples before I settled on a few cookies. At first was just gonna get three but decided on their special and got half a dozen for the price of 5. My favorite was the churro and the Biscoff. My little nephew loved the strawberry one and my niece loved the s'mores one. Needless to say we loved everything. The cookies were fresh, soft in the center with still sone crispness around the edges, which is just how I like it. You can tell they used very good ingredients and they are not loaded with sugar. This was definitely a nice sweet treat that hit the spot.
