Good spot for a quick Blue Moon beer at the bar while you wait for your flight. I still need to try the food.
Not bad for an airport restaurant. They had lots of options. I opted for the chicken bowl and it was good. Server had lots of tables but still super attentive. Seating super close together but that's typical at an airport and I was glad i didn't have to wait for a table.
Our AA flight was delayed several hours so we stopped in at Blanco Tacos & Tequila for drinks and a bite to eat while waiting for our new flight time. The restaurant was packed as several flights were either cancelled or delayed due to mechanical issues or weather. They do have a convenient scan code n the table but our sever was always ready to take out order whenever we needed him. Our server Matt was just awesome. He was very attentive and we were never left waiting for service. I think we were there for at least 3 hours between drinks and food. He was very friendly and we were concerned about the amount of time we were there but we made sure we were consistent in ordering. I also want to compliment another server named Elaine who was serving the tables next to us. She was very friendly and upbeat. Always with a smile and respectful to her customers. Our drinks were promptly delivered. We ordered chips and guacamole as well as the shrimp tacos. The guacamole was delicious and my husband loved the shrimp tacos. I've been to other Blanco locations in the valley and this was the best service and food in my opinion. Overall a great experience.
Blanco Tequila & Tacos delivers exactly what you want when you're craving something quick, fresh, and satisfying. I ordered the nachos and they were out in under five minutes, which is always a win. While they weren't spicy, they were packed with great flavor and texture--crispy chips, well-balanced toppings, and a solid portion that didn't feel skimpy. Perfect if you enjoy bold taste without the heat. Fast service, tasty food, and a laid-back vibe make this a great stop whether you're grabbing a quick bite or hanging out for tacos and tequila.
I've eaten here before, but this time I just wanted to stop in for a very quick spicy margarita with a tajin rim! I told the Bartender not to be skimpy with the Tajin and that I wanted to feel the tickle in my throat from the spiciness of the spicy margarita. I am happy to say that she thoroughly delivered! I don't know about you, but when I order a spicy margarita, I want it to be spicy! And trust me y'all, this one was spicy!
I was in this area for the Forbes summit and a friend suggested we go here. Fox restaurants usually does great with vegan options. Our server was so kind and ensured I knew what could be made vegan. I ordered the tacos. We ordered a guacamole for the table and it was smothered in cheese which was disappointing, it took some time before she checked on us. The remade quac didn't come out until after our food and she kindly had it comped. Overall it was a nice experience and perfect patio weather.
While waiting for a flight, I decided to visit this restaurant. Since I arrived during breakfast time, I asked the hostess if they were only surging breakfast bd she replied that their full menu was available to order. Upon hearing this, I was quickly seated then informed that ordering as done via QR code. As I was preparing to order via the QR code, waiter Matthew came and informed me that I could either or via the app or he could take my order in person. After looking at the menu via the QR code, I decide to order the veggie taco without sour cream. Matthew informed me that the guacamole was also mixed with a little sour cream so I decided against having that and he offered having avocado slices instead. I quickly received the order of veggie tacos topped with an avocado slice, cabbage, lots of pico de gallo served with a side of white rice with corn and black beans. Though the tacos looked good, the it was extremely spicy which ai couldn't determine if this was due to the pico de gallo or veggies. To me, the rice and beans were okay but not very flavorful. As I finished my meal, I was a little disappointed in the lackluster taste of the tacos, rice, and beans. Other than the less than stellar food experience, the staff and overall layout of the restaurant were great.
I stopped at Blanco for a quick meal at the Phoenix Airport and had a Burrito Bowl because I wanted something on the light side that was tasty and would carry me for a few hours and it did the trick. It was heavy on the greens, which I appreciated, though I would have liked a little more protein. To be honest, service was not the greatest as my server was trying to get me to leave in a hurry though the restaurant was basically empty AND he had yet to return my card which he had forgotten at his station (like, I'll leave as soon as you give me back my card but also, why are you rushing me to leave when 3/4 of the restaurant is empty?) It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth but given that the food was mostly good and it seems his service was an exception to him (based on other positive reviews), I'll still give it 4 stars because I don't imagine this is a frequent occurrence.
First the service was outstanding. Matthew was my server and he was spot on. Greeted immediately had water on the table and had my drink in less than a couple of minutes. I ordered the chips and salsa with a small side of guac and the grilled fish tacos. The guac was good and creamy could have used a little more salt. The salsa was fine, I would recommend a spicy and mild version. The one served is a little on the mild side. The service was so fast, that as I ate the first chip the tacos came out. The tacos were fine with good flavor. The cabbage and house sauce paired well with the fish. The fish itself was a tad overcooked and could have used more flavor. In all a good place to stop by, that is incredibly fast. You will not miss your connection. Thanks Matthew for great service.
Either a Zin Burger or this next to my gate. Zin Burger had no seating so this. Figure steak is better than burger. Chips and salsa were ok. Queso and salsa were nothing to write home about. The chips were nice totopos style. Paired well with the burrito. Steak was cold. Probably wouldn't have noticed if covered in beans and rice. Sauce made up for it. Hey it is airport food.
No complaints, for an airport restaurant/ bar it was great. Plenty of room seats at the bar if you're alone or in a hurry. The service was fast and the bartender was friendly and attentive while also leaving me alone to watch a show on my iPad. I did not eat here but the food looked good. I just came for a drink or two and caught my flight home.
Nice Mexican food Amazing service. Small bar but nice ambiance. Amazing quality food. And we tried burrito tacos and chips. Beer with maxican food was amazing.
Stopped by because my flight got pretty delayed. It had steady flow of people but open. You have to use QR code in order to be seated which was odd when no real line. Since it was just me I got stuffed in a corner. You order via QR code. I tried the bowl. It was good and filling. I would recommend stopping by here just have your phone ready for all the QR codes

My colleague and I checked out the location as we were flying through Skyharbor. We were seated quickly and told that the menu was found on the QR Code. We checked out the menu and found a couple items to order. The chips and salsa were 2.5 dollars. The food came quickly. Staff were attentive, but were also busy and moving through the space quickly. The quesadilla was flavorful and well sized. The tacos were tasty, although the rice and beans were not packing a large amount of flavor. Perfect airport layover spot. Fresh good food , friendly service, quiet, quality ambiance. . We enjoyed the Queso nachos and each ordered the veggie tacos. we could've definitely split the tacos as they come with 3 plus , black beans and rice, and the nachos were a huge! This is a fine place for airport dining. We had a short layover and needed something realtively quick. We were seated right away and scanned the QR code at the table. We were able to order everything through the online ordering system. Staff was walking around delivering food and helping people with the online system. The food came out pretty quick. We ordered the queso, chips & salsa, tacos, and a bowl. The food was decent and pretty salty. I would definitely get the chips & queso again, but would probably try some different appetizers. read more

Stopped during a layover. Quickly seated. Scan barcode and order at table. Server efficient and attentive. Ordered green chili pork tacos that comes with rice and beans with extra side of sour cream and guacamole. Appetizer chips and salsa. Generous portions. Prices competitive. Flavors are delicious. The dining room and bar areas have half booths and standard table and chairs. TVs with sports playing throughout. Would stop again. read more

We were not impressed by the food and service was also extremely slow. It wasn't even that busy. I barely finished my Mahi taco because it wasn't that appetizing and tasted bland. We probably waited for 30 minutes before being able to order. There was no wow factor at all for me. Also, I noticed the glass of water had lipstick marks on it and the other glasses didn't look clean either. Ugh. Disappointing all around. read more

Great chips and guacamole! Also have been here in the past. Their salsa is also good but maybe has more of that smoky quality to it. They also have excellent iced tea and service was excellent in that they readily made me an Arnold Palmer (iced tea and lemonade). Nice stop to eat at if you are waiting for your flight to board at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Also great setting to just sit down in and charge your phone. Recommended! read more

Blanco Tacos & Tequila airport restaurant maintains a reasonable level of crowd management. Despite being bustling, it is kept clean and tidy. I've frequented this establishment multiple times and have consistently encountered friendly staff. Despite the busy atmosphere, they efficiently cater to customers without making anyone feel hurried. Every dish is served fresh and in generous portions. I particularly enjoy their chicken burrito and make it a point to order it almost every time I visit. If you're looking for something near the B gates this is your spot! read more
I have been hitting up this spot since it opened and Blanco makes me happy! What a fun and amazingly talented staff this local spot has. Bartenderess XT is so funny and not only can manufacture drinks at a rapid pace she also speaks French. Her co-star Camill is a perfect match as she gives this place an upbeat fun energy that reminds us to enjoy our day. I recommend the breakfast burrito ( Because it's always breakfast somewhere : even Hong Kong ) I'd say get it without beans and just double up the rice ( to make your take home nice ) Blancos Happy Hour starts at 2pm and goes until 5pm so plan this afternoon accordingly. Had a really great time at Blanco's. Tacos were delicious and the drink was excellent. The ambiance was very upbeat and fun. The service was great. I have no complaints with this establishment and will definitely be back again. I give this location a 9/10 read more

Came in on a layover flight back home, and did the table reservation for a single- and seated in 5 minutes. Very busy & loud, but the food is really good & the services is fast and very polite. A bit pricey, but the food quantity is excellent. If I am back in Phoenix, i'll definitely be back. read more

Let's be honest, airport restaurants tend to have a pretty bad rep. With the underpaid workers, lack of repeat clientele and limited resources, I understand why! When I arrived, this spot was PACKED, and initially the service was AWFUL. I must've caught someone at the wrong time because as a party of 1, I was screamed and and chastised for ASKING...not walking towards, not asserting myself but ASKING if bar service was first come, first serve. Convincing myself I may as well wait it out for the food, I joined the line, and after about 2 minutes I was at the original bar seat I inquired about... If the story ended there, this would be a cautionary tale, but luckily from here, everything turned around! The app for ordering was malfunctioning but our bartender kept a cool head. She was apologetic, sincere and accommodating in the weeds. She was quick to suggest refills, check on order status and keep positive energy in the air! So, 1 star for every delicious taco I inhaled, and a bonus star for this bartender, who embodied positivity and entirely changed my perception of this restaurant! B in real life but an A- for airport stops. read more

This restaurant is located in the A gate area. The food came quicker than my drink (Bloody Mary) so if you're in a rush this is still an okay spot to go to. The servers kept checking in on me and had a great work flow. However, I wish there was a Chipotle in the airport because the Mexican food here is so unbelievably bland. I left full but the food definitely could've been better. It's also expensive for what you get but I guess that's just airport food for you. read more

We powered through an extra-insane voyage from Tucson to Phoenix for our flight back to Austin! We now wait for our delayed plane with drinks in hand! What's not to like? BTW, get the mahi taco plate with corn tortillas! Nice and light! It's a great airport pit stop! read more

Taco Tuesday, Happy Hour, or Cinco de Mayo either one can be spent at Blanco Tacos + Tequila. Vibing atmosphere with good foods, and drinks. Service was good to say when I went on a busy evening. First time I have ever been to Blanco Tacos and I saw the food coming out which it all looked good. The burritos looked nice and warm on the dish when they came out. I ordered the chicken caesar salad with a Bud Light. After I had saw some meals and food coming out. The Caesar salad was really good. The Caesar dressing was more vinegar flavored but I enjoyed it. The service was good and the bartender was very aware of you were low on water or a beverage. Blanco Tacos is definitely a busy atmosphere it a good spot to wait for your plane if you need a spot to chill or work. They had outlets under the bar which is super helpful. read more
