Changing my review to a 2, because of service. We've previously liked the food, but our latest experience delivered the worst possible service - that being no service. We set out to get food, and about 10 minutes into the drive (30 mins there or 1 hour round trip), we decided to call in our order to save some time. They answer the phone and when attempting to place the order, tell us matter of factly, "oh we're closed." "What do you mean, closed. You're open to 8:30pm, right? That's two hours from now." "Yes, we normally close at 8:30, but we're closed," flippantly. No explanation. We wasted 20 minutes round trip, of our time and gas, with hungry people waiting. Could have been an hour and gas waisted if we hadn't called ahead. I just don't understand the businesses in this region that seem to have no regard for their customers and close whenever it suits them outside of posted hours. No regard for their wasted time and gas, and leave them an hour behind in trying to find food solutions. Rotten. Worst than bad service, it's zero service. Enjoy the rest of your customers while you have them. read more

This business showed online that it was open but, when we got there the doors were locked. They told us to come back in 30mins and when we did, they were still closed. We tried to get their attention, they said they don't know when they will open. This place has consistently been a bad experience. We need another pizza parlor in Blanco - with no competition these guys don't care at all about service. I have experienced multiple times in the past being unable to reach them on the phone during their normal business hours. On this occasion I needed several pizzas so I called earlier in the day to confirm that they would be open and to place an order. They said they would be open until 8:30pm and they couldn't take my order until I was ready to pickup. Well low and behold, come 6:30pm they cannot be reached- will not pick up the phone. So I drive into town to place my order and am told they are closed because the "ran out of stuff ". As you're all aware, this is high school employee talk for "I want to go home early." Absolute worse pizza restaurant I've ever attempted to order from. And their prices are high! My husband and I are visiting my parents from out of town (we live in Las Vegas). This is the first place my parents took us after landing in Austin; it was delicious, so we came back again tonight, just the two of us. We tried both the New York and deep dish style pizzas and were very happy with both. Smaller but lovely selection of local beers and wines, comfy family-owned atmosphere, and solid food. Plus the staff is very sweet and Andrew (manager and/or co-owner) is incredibly welcoming and warm. He and my husband chatted about Vegas and football as we dined. As people who love to socialize while we eat - especially in a new town - we really cherished our experiences and feel like we could come back in 6 months and be recognized. Great pizza (got the "Blanco" with blackened chicken). VERY GOOD. Rich flavor, variance of cheese. Totally satisfied. ***Edit: went back a 2nd time and there was a new cook doing the chicken. Today we tried the new pizza place in town. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and picked it up. The pizza was pretty good, and definitely better than CJs, which is the only other option in town. The pizza had a thinner crust and was less greasy than CJs. The cheese was yummy. It's light but filling after a couple slices. I docked a star because it seems like it could be pricey (we got a medium for $15, but a large starts at $16 and costs $2/per extra topping). Also since we picked it up, the service was kind of awkward. The two people on shift didn't seem enthusiastic or approachable. I wanted to see a menu but didn't ask because I didn't feel super welcomed, but next time I go I'll ask anyways. 4/14/ 2020 Ok, I'm torn. I really want to continue to like this place. But they are making it tough. This critique is about the pizza. My wife and I have been coming here for about a year. The first time we bit into a slice of their pie we made eye contact with each other and knew this would be our local pizza go to. Starting about 4 or 5 months ago, the quality and quantity has been in decline. This started before the covid crisis, so that can't be used as an excuse. The person or persons making the pizza's seem to be lacking a little motivation and or supervision on how make a product that looks good, tastes good and makes me want to come back again. When I order a pizza with three toppings for example, I expect to have multiple pieces of each topping on every slice. A lot of times this isn't the case. The cheese and sauce should not be over two inches away from the outside edge. The finished product we have received the last several times have been lacking. If the general lack of cheese and toppings is an economic decision, then I would prefer to pay a little more and get a product that doesn't make me feel cheated and disappointed. We give you guys one more try to see if things improve. If not, we will find some place else to get pizza. read more

The pizza had a overpowering flavor of cheese, which I loved, but the bread was very soggy. Only the outer crust was toasted. Have eaten here several times but tonight definitely was the worst experience. Took forever for the server to come take our drink order although there were three servers and less than 10 tables. After delivering our drink orders, we had to ask for one of our drinks. We ordered an appetizer as well as four dishes off of the menu. The wrong appetizer came out to the table and was placed in front of us - I took the appetizer back up to the front of the restaurant where the server promptly took it to another table... Even though I had eaten off of it. We had to ask for silverware and refills on the drinks (again, three servers for less than 10 tables). Our server brought the wrong dinner and placed it in front of me - after I explained it was the wrong dinner, our server argued with me. It took add an additional server to come and pull the bowl away for me and, again, it was placed it in front of someone else at a different table. My dish did not come out as it was ordered. The silverware was filthy. After we spoke to the manager, we paid our bill... While we were up at the front, we could overhear our server complaining about our minimal tip. read more

Waitress asked if we wanted knots and salad first, we said don't wait , bring out anything as it was ready. Said it was ready, boxing it up was another long process. Cashed us out, then told us not only did they forget my salad, also forgot my pizza rolls and did double garlic knots. Umm... the salad and pizza rolls was supposed to be my dinner. We were going to just eat in the car at this point in the way to event... decided I would just settle for garlic knots and share with husband... asked "do you have silverware ware in the bag for us?".... answer, "No, sorry we are out of silverware". Well... I have given up on these people- even though the food is so delish! I went to have lunch at 11:50am (Says they open at 11:00am) I could see the man in the kitchen preparing something wandering back-and-forth totally in my view standing outside the front door and I know he saw me a couple of times and totally ignored me. There was a woman inside who I am assuming was a waitress who again walked back-and-forth in the building numerous times and also totally ignored me. At 10 minutes after 12 I tapped on the door Numerous times wanting to merely ask them if they were actually going to open for lunch and if not I was going to leave and go elsewhere. Neither of them paid any attention to me whatsoever. While I was standing there for the 20 minutes total that I waited another group of four pulled up and saw me waiting and they finally just drove away to go elsewhere for lunch. This company is so unorganized they are never open when they say they are going to and for them to leave a customer standing outside a locked door is just unimaginable to me.
