    Ziti

Service was bad. We waited about 30 minutes before our order was taken. We would have left but the guy said he would be right with us. Ambiance was ok but not spectacular. Food ordered was Caprese, Baked Ziti. The caprese salad was something else. It contained string mozzarella that was chopped up. And had shaved parmesan. It was pretty bad. The baked ziti was plentiful. And the taste was so, so.

We stopped by here on the way to wine country, family has been here before and liked it. Thursday afternoon and it was not busy but there were other guests. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We had a couple beers, glass of wine, side salads, and split the combination pizza. The place smelled great when we walked in and the pizza was delish! I liked the freshness of the veggies for the salad. Pizza crust was nice and crispy, pizza toppings were yummy. Out back there's a garden area with one of the largest oak trees in the area. It was very beautiful. I would definitely come back here.

    Delectable garlic knots

Often stop at this restaurant when passing through the area and it is always good. The garlic knots are so flavorful and perfectly cooked and are excellent. The New York style pizza is great and we saw a Chicago style pizza on the table next to us that look good as well.

Great location right on the square and small town pizza shop vibe. Good food, a little slow on the service but it was a busy night. Friendly staff and good selection. Chicago pizza was a little cold in the center and could have used more cook time. Kids liked Alfredo pizza and Alfredo pasta.

Pizza was hot and delicious. The sandwiches were equally as good. Garlic knots took a bit to be served so they comped them without us asking them to because they came out with the meal and not before. The garlic knots were fresh and soft also. Very busy place!

The service was fast for being packed. The pizza rolls are super good, and garlic knots great. Everything about the place is amazing. Of course the pizza slams. Love this place

Got miserably sick after sharing an "everything" pizza and garlic knots. Tasted good the first time- not as well the second, unfortunately.

This place does not accept legal one dollar coins for payment of any type. I asked to speak to a manager and he says we do not have a manager here. I always use one dollar establishments around there. They always accept them. We will not be going back there. Because they do not accept American legal of one dollar coins. His demeanor and attitude immediately became rather distasteful. this kind of we will not be going back there this establishment for the local area.

We ordered the bread knots and mozzarella sticks as appetizers and they were sooooo good! Didn't last long. Our pizzas were delicious as well. We went on a Sunday pretty early in the afternoon, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves before the after church rush. There was one employee taking care of the dining area and the bar; she did a great job and was honest about her feelings on certain menu items, as well as what was popular. I started out with a five dollar mimosa and honestly, I have no idea how or why it was so strong but it definitely gave me a buzz quickly! We had to order the cheese bread which so happens to be gluten-free and was absolutely amazing! It just tasted like a deep dish cheese pizza. It was super hot, cheesy, and the bread was so light and fluffy with a fabulous crispy edge. For the pizza, we ordered The Vino, which has red wine blended into the pizza sauce and covered with mushrooms, onions, pepperoncini, and a balsamic drizzle. This pizza was so delicious and light, no meat, and a very thin crisp crust, which was perfect! From the Stone Oak area of San Antonio it takes about 55 minutes to get there and definitely worth the drive to experience some small town dining and the scenic hill country of South Texas!

The new tasting room on Main and Adam's is located two doors down from Martini's Seafood or across from Market Platz on Adam's Street. Andy, Elena, and Michael picked a perfect location. I am able to get a glass to go while waiting on my reservation at Martini's or carry it with me as I tour the various events at Market Plazt. The downtown location has the same vibe as the Stonewall location with a twist. At AVonA you will be able to select from 16 wines from the automated wine dispensery. Each wine is kept at the perfect temperature. EVEN BETTER, is you can select from a variety of 3 different pours. A tasting pour (1.5 oz), glass (5 oz), and a TEXAS Glass (7.5oz). options. Most of the wines you find at the Stonewall location will be available at the tasting room downtown, however I am told that as the bottle new wines and some vintages may only be available at the Stonewall location. If you want to relax and purchase a bottle, that's an option as well. I absolutely LOVE the new location. Having late night hours on the weekends is HUGE for me and those who are looking for a late night location that offers 100% Texas wines. That is one of my favorite things about Adega Vinho. They are 100% Texas and unapologetic. They proudly support Texas Grape Growers but more importantly, they produce excellent wines.

It's located in a shopping center location behind a McDonalds. Immediately, upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner who was very warm and friendly. They had detroit style or NY style pizzas with a decent amount of options. My friends got the NY style supreme and we got the the detroit style NY Omygosh its good style pizza which was essentially pepperoni and ricotta, which are a nice combo of mine and my wife's favorite toppings. Both pizzas were fantastic and different and delicious in their own way. We used their flat iron seasonings which we were all geeking out over while waiting for our pizzas. They were really good and a nice compliment to the pizza and I thought it was cool the owner had a partnership to sell those along with some hot honey too. The owner checked on us several times and probably was the most engaging owner I've met at any restaurant. For drinks, they had craft sodas in their fountain machine and I got the Dr pepper version which was tasty. Pickup seems to be the most efficient approach with not a ton of tables and no public restrooms.

One half of the pizza was supposed to be pesto with extra pepperoni and jalapeños. The other half was ordered with extra pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños. Instead, my half arrived with only vegetables, no sausage, no pepperoni, and not even the extra pepperoni we paid for. My husband's half was also missing the jalapeños. To make matters worse, our $13 Caesar salad came without the Caesar dressing. We were also charged for chicken when we ordered it without chicken. When I called to let them know about the mistakes, the employee said she was transferring me to the manager. The person I spoke with did not sound like a manager, she sounded like the young girl who took my order and showed absolutely no concern that our order had been completely messed up. There was no apology, no offer to replace the food, and no offer to refund the items we paid for but never received. We spent over $55 on an order that ended up in the trash. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters. Unfortunately, the complete lack of customer service was even more disappointing than the food itself. If you're charging customers for extra toppings, make sure they're actually on the pizza. And if you make this many mistakes on one order, your staff should be trained to make it right, not act like it's the customer's problem.
