I said they are legal tender one dollar coins and he says again we do not accept this kind of payment. So I ended up using my debit card. This place does not accept legal one dollar coins for payment of any type. I asked to speak to a manager and he says we do not have a manager here. I always use one dollar establishments around there. They always accept them. We will not be going back there. Because they do not accept American legal of one dollar coins. His demeanor and attitude immediately became rather distasteful. this kind of we will not be going back there this establishment for the local area.

I am able to get a glass to go while waiting on my reservation at Martini's or carry it with me as I tour the various events at Market Plazt. The downtown location has the same vibe as the Stonewall location with a twist. At AVonA you will be able to select from 16 wines from the automated wine dispensery. Each wine is kept at the perfect temperature. EVEN BETTER, is you can select from a variety of 3 different pours. A tasting pour (1.5 oz), glass (5 oz), and a TEXAS Glass (7.5oz). options. Most of the wines you find at the Stonewall location will be available at the tasting room downtown, however I am told that as the bottle new wines and some vintages may only be available at the Stonewall location. If you want to relax and purchase a bottle, that's an option as well. I absolutely LOVE the new location. Having late night hours on the weekends is HUGE for me and those who are looking for a late night location that offers 100% Texas wines. That is one of my favorite things about Adega Vinho. They are 100% Texas and unapologetic. They proudly support Texas Grape Growers but more importantly, they produce excellent wines.

Both pizzas were fantastic and different and delicious in their own way. We used their flat iron seasonings which we were all geeking out over while waiting for our pizzas. They were really good and a nice compliment to the pizza and I thought it was cool the owner had a partnership to sell those along with some hot honey too. The owner checked on us several times and probably was the most engaging owner I've met at any restaurant. For drinks, they had craft sodas in their fountain machine and I got the Dr pepper version which was tasty. Pickup seems to be the most efficient approach with not a ton of tables and no public restrooms.

Instead, my half arrived with only vegetables, no sausage, no pepperoni, and not even the extra pepperoni we paid for. My husband's half was also missing the jalapeños. To make matters worse, our $13 Caesar salad came without the Caesar dressing. We were also charged for chicken when we ordered it without chicken. When I called to let them know about the mistakes, the employee said she was transferring me to the manager. The person I spoke with did not sound like a manager, she sounded like the young girl who took my order and showed absolutely no concern that our order had been completely messed up. There was no apology, no offer to replace the food, and no offer to refund the items we paid for but never received. We spent over $55 on an order that ended up in the trash. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters. Unfortunately, the complete lack of customer service was even more disappointing than the food itself. If you're charging customers for extra toppings, make sure they're actually on the pizza. And if you make this many mistakes on one order, your staff should be trained to make it right, not act like it's the customer's problem.

I'd earmarked Old 300 as the place in Blanco, to go up against the others. We arrived on a Monday about 1:20p. After lunch hour, and the place was packed. (that's an indicator right there. One of the slowest days for restaurants during the week, and not at peak meal time.) The line went quick. They have what's listed as a "BBQ Sandwich" - it's a blend of chopped brisket and chopped pulled pork (not in long, stringy strands) together. We were going to hit other towns & sandwiches, so for the two of us we just ordered one sandwich and a side of potato salad. We got it to-go. Sat at an empty table. Got ourselves fixins - some doctored up onions (sliced, seems like they sauté them a little in butter and then top w fresh cracked black pepper), pickles, and both their Sweet and their Spicy sauces. They brought it out quickly, less than 5 min. We opted to just eat it there instead of take it to the next town. We topped with pickles, onions, and the Sweet sauce. Oh my freakin' sweet Lord! In this small Texas town with an unassuming spot a block and a half off the main road going through town, easily one of the top 5 bbq sandwiches of all time - no joke! To break it down, we tasted all items individually. The onions are delectable - softened from the sauté, good moisture from the butter, delicious. The Sweet sauce is crazy good. A fantastic balance of sweet, tang, & slight bite. I've never said this before but it's true - told my daughter, "I could just sit here and dip these pickles in this sauce for the next 30 minutes and be completely satisfied." The sauce, yes, is that good. Daughter is not a heat/spice lover, but she did try the Spicy sauce and we both thought it was definitely tame as far as heat goes. We both thought the Spicy sauce was okay. The Sweet sauce, though, stellar! We were overwhelmed by how good it all was. When we got to the car, I said, "All the ingredients together was like a symphony." Next time I visit her, am absolutely gonna suggest another drive out to Blanco specifically, to try some other items on the menu. But I can say this, for the BBQ Sandwich, pickles, doctored onions, and Sweet sauce alone, Old 300 is worth a generous drive and you will 100 percent be happy as a lark. Thanks for fantastic meal, Old 300. Will most definitely be back.

The vibe is warm, inviting, and full of that cozy neighborhood charm that makes you want to stay a while. Now let's talk about the food -- WOW. The pizza rolls are out-of-this-world delicious. Perfectly crisp on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside -- total perfection. We also had the chopped Italian salad, which was super fresh and packed with flavor. Horrible experience. Went there to celebrate my niece's birthday. Drove 2 hours to get our guest and to make it. When we arrived at 3:30 on Tuesday the open sign was lit and all looked good. That is until we tried to open the locked door. The sign then mysteriously turned off and no answer. To our sadness another group of people walked up and we're confused also. I have eaten here for several years and the pizza is always good. I appreciate that the business hires many high school students. With that said, I ate here on 6-20-26. I ordered tea as usual and got one refill. When the check came I was charged for two teas. I asked the server about it and he said that it was because I got a refill. I have never been charged for a tea refill here or any other restaurant before. I hope that this is not the policy of this business. read more

The bathrooms are relatively clean, but they need TLC with peeling paint and haphazard repairs. Honestly, who thought it was a good idea to put a urinal so close to an open electrical outlet? Also, it would be nice for a family l-friendly restaurant (dog porch and kids' menu) to have changing tables in the bathrooms. The staff was courteous, yet somewhat forgetful. The unkempt nature of the tables and floor should have clued us in. The pickle bread (cheesy bread with ranch and pickles on top) was a tasty novelty and everything came out relatively quickly. The chop steak was slathered in grilled onions, jalapeños, and mushrooms and had a great char. Wonderfully made. The teriyaki burger was tasty. However the fries on both were nothing special.

We added au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. The au gratin potatoes are hands down the best I've ever had. We couldn't pass up desserts either and shared the crème brûlée and the icebox pie.
