Great Oysters! Went on Monday for the special with my friend. The oysters was so good.Crab fingers amazing! It was definitely packed!! Pack your patience but service is great. 20% is automatically added Complimentary valet since the parking lot is microscopic .

Okay Blake's Oyster Bar... you did what needed to be DONE. I've been a few times and baby, the ambiance is chic, cute, and giving grown and sexy every time. I usually grab a seat at the bar and the energy is always just right... good music, good crowd, just a whole vibe. Now let's get into these oysters... TOP TIER. Fresh, flavorful, and I'm ordering them every single time without question. And Mondays?? $1.75 oysters?? Yeah, get there early because it fills up quick and for good reason. They also have valet, which I love because I'm not about to be circling the block all night. Pull up, step out, and go enjoy yourself. Now the gumbo... I wanted to love her, I really did. The flavor wasn't bad, but it came in this little skillet instead of a bowl and I needed more juice, more sauce, more of that rich, soupy goodness. It just didn't quite hit for me. But overall? I'm definitely going back. Blake's is a whole vibe, especially if you're an oyster girl like me.

Shrimp and Fried Oysters

We happened to be in the area so we stopped by. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole vibe this place has. The decor is cute, our server had a great personality, and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. We ordered the crab fingers, chargrilled oysters, and the fried shrimp and oyster plate. Everything was good. I would recommend eating the crab fingers as soon as they come out because the sauce gets thick as it cools. Best bite: The shrimp, they were huge and cooked perfectly. Least favorite bite: Fried oysters, they were kind of chewy. I would definitely recommend giving this spot a try.

Claw Fingers

When they say the claw fingers are the best thing on the menu, believe them! Blake the owner was walking around checking on everyone at least 5-6 times throughout the night. T the manager on duty was awesome and the vibes are great here. We sat at the bar and the music was top tier but not too loud where you couldn't hear someone next to you. The bar drinks are reasonable priced. If anything I'm going back for those claw fingers!!! I wasn't a fan of the gumbo, not spicy and didn't really have much going on but they were busy. Now the parking is crazy - I lucked out and saw someone coming out and scooted in but valet parking is available and really the only option.

My friend and I wanted to check this place out because it opened recently and we've been hearing relatively good reviews. On Mondays, they also have an oyster happy hour. When we got there, it was packed both the dining area and the bar. We put our name down and waited for a little bit. The host and the manager were very accommodating and tried to get us out as soon as possible. The oysters were fresh, and while I enjoyed the Branzino, there was an option to get it with crab meat, which I didn't do and will want to try next time.

Color me surprised! I have been trying to make it to Blake's forever but the parking lot/parking situation would scare me away. Knowing this, I ask my best friend that is in town visiting to meet me at 2pm on a Sunday, before the church crowd got there. Best decision ever lol. I made reservations, but a grabbed some seats at the bar (mainly because there was a family in front of us and the matriarch was having a meltdown about the space and the noise, lol, and the bar seats were going fast). Ariuna was our bartender/waitress and she took very good care of us! She made great suggestions, was never overbearing and was always smiling. Now to get to the reason why you are here. How is the food, you might ask? IT SLAPPED! So I am not much of an oyster girl. But my significant other couldn't make it to join us and I knew he would ask how the oysters were so I found an option on the menu that married all of my wants: chargrilled oysters, fish and shrimp platter! Note that all of their platters come with fries-you can sub for a different side but you will pay. The fries were good though and so was the rest of my food! The portions were large enough to have plenty of leftovers to go home with. A lot of people talk about the price points but honestly for what I got plus a drink I didn't do half bad. Now, you won't go in here spending just $20 but the food is worth the money. I will be back soon!

First off this place is located in a great spot off Fairburn road near the intersection of Cascade! It was a total of 7 for our gathering. Our lunch included: Shrimp and fries 10/10 Catfish and fries 10/10 Gumbo 10/10 Catfish po boy 20/10 Crab fingers 20/10 Although their menu is à la carte the prices weren't too bad. We also had a flight of margaritas that were really strong but soo good. Jahan was our server and she was really good with our party. The ambiance is really cute. Def will be back!!!

I was literally stalking their IG for the opening date since the first time I heard they were opening. I've been there 3 times now and I love the food. I usually get the chargrilled oysters and the oyster po'boy. Whatever that sauce is on the chargrilled oysters needs to be bottled. I was happy they gave me bread because I needed to sop up whatever was left of that sauce after I ate the oysters. The oyster po'boy has perfectly fried oysters but they definitely need to add more remoulade. I always ask for more on the side because what they put on the bread is very little. This comes from someone who is not heavily into sauces. Just an FYI, this place is not exactly cheap. My 6 oysters, sandwich, iced tea plus tip came to about $60. If that's not an option, I'd encourage you to take advantage of their $10 lunch special. Either way, GO!

The Food was Great and Ashleen our server was very attentive and helpful. The ambiance was relaxed and very inviting. We sat down around 12:20 and ten minutes after we were getting our appetizers in 5-10 and food came after. We left at 1:40.

So this restaurant shares a wall with BOSK & a lot with a gas station, but it's decorated very nicely. It has indoor & outdoor seating but it is a tiny bit cramped (we also came on a Friday night so it might not always be like that). We had a reservation & although we were a little late, they still accommodated us. The server was real nice and helpful, answering all our questions and was very attentive. The food was good, however I will say everything was extremely saucy. The sauces used had good flavor, but it was hard to taste the actual food with the sauce overpowering everything. My table tried the Oyster Rockefeller (yes), the Crab Fingers (drowned in sauce & the "fingers" were baby blue crabs-- so tiny), the Mac & Cheese (real good but very saucy -- Lobster Mac isn't really worth it for the amount of lobster vs price difference), NY Strip (comes with one side & although the taste was good, I asked for medium rare & got borderline medium well/well done so it was a bit tough), & Beignets (they were good, but taste nothing like authentic beignets. They were very crunchy & coated in cinnamon sugar, then dusted with powdered sugar. Very sweet but good). For drinks, I'd recommend the old fashioned & the lemon drop flight (all tasted good).

The food with a New Orleans twist was very tasty. The drink were also so good. We had good service. We did not try the oysters but I said I would be back. Not a great date night spot if you want to talk because the music is pretty loud, so it's not easy to hear but overall good vibe. They have complimentary valet even though the parking lot is next to a gas station, so you can really self park. But if it's complimentary I won't complain.

This spot is located in a plaza alongside other Black-owned businesses in SWATS and has been open for about three months. Because it's in a plaza, parking is plentiful, and valet is available during certain hours. As soon as you walk in, you're transported into a forest-like atmosphere, complete with a stunning imitation tree behind the bar -- trunk, branches, leaves, and all. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and the garage-style doors make it easy to convert the space into an open indoor-outdoor experience during warmer months. For cooler weather, heaters are available for outdoor seating. We were greeted by several pleasant staff members and seated right away. Our server, Anna, was friendly and took great care of us. We arrived during the lunch special, where select small plates are offered for $10. The chargrilled oysters were the reason we came, but we stayed for the gator bites, crab claws, and the espresso martini tower! Everything was amazing. Although I visited on a Friday, I'll definitely be back for their $1.75 oysters (raw and chargrilled) available all day on Mondays.

Five star service and food!!! Everything was great and the restaurant is a VIBE!!! Came for lunch on a Thursday and the restaurant was filling up quick. This is clearly a go to lunch spot for professionals during the week. The music was great and not too loud so you can enjoy your conversation. I especially liked the hostesses!! They were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. Ordered the catfish with red beans and rice from the $10 lunch menu. That's right - $10! It's a pretty good portion and the catfish was sooooo GOOD! Fried hard (like I like it) and seasoned like your Grandma was in the kitchen! Highly recommend. I'm not the biggest red beans and rice person, but these beans melt in your mouth and have the perfect amount of Cajun seasoning. I would definitely order them again! Coming back really soon!!!! They also have another location opening in soon in Smyrna.

10/10 Experience!…read more Last year I dined at their sister restaurant and was very impressed, so I decided to check out Oreatha's. The place is tucked behind where GPS takes you and there is no real parking. The inside is cozy and swank. Gives a 90's vibe. The servers were charming and charismatic. They also suggested all delicious options for us. The chef sent over Thai lettuce wraps and they were divine! The food is a blend of Soul Food and other countries. I absolutely adored and loved that! Started with the collard green hush puppies, jerk duck wings and salmon empanadas. All were beyond amazing! Get the duck wings if you can only have one! I had the Thai catfish and coconut grits for my entree and it did not disappoint. This is the first time in my life that I ate a whole fish. I have never completely eaten one. It was crispy and seasoned well. Did not give off that catfish taste. The grits were surprisingly delightful. Never thought about coconut in grits. My other friend had the oxtail lasagna and she devoured it! The third friend is a picky eater and got the chicken with rice/beans. She loved it. My other friend had the Trini fish and her only complaint was that it wasn't hot enough. She's a native Trini, so she wanted more spice. For dessert we got the croissant bread pudding!! DELICIOUS! I would definitely return and recommend Oretha's!

It's on the side of other buildings like they all share on structure and divided it up, but the interior is much bigger than expected. It kind of felt like a long hallway, but that may be due to how it was pretty empty upon arrival though it got pretty busy once night fell. From what I understand, the menu changes every few months or so. What you see in reviews may not be on the menu when you visit, but don't let that deter you! The food will still be good. They have a good grasp on flavors all around the world, and it's a fancier take on what would otherwise be considered comfort food. At least, that's how I felt ordering the oxtail lasanga. Like, WOW. Beautifully delicious. The tomatoes on the side packed such a punch. Tiny flavor bombs for sure. I really jumped straight to the best thing of the night in my review, but it honestly was everything I wanted once I saw it on the menu. Going back to the beginning though... the apps? Tasty. The salmon empanadas were a little dry, but seasoned well. I believe the (collard green) hushpuppies are a mainstay item, and it's truly for a good reason. Such a classic bite, and it's easily shareable too. For the jerk duck wings, I preferred the mango salad underneath it. The flavor overall wasn't bad, but duck has such a distinct taste that it overpowered the jerk seasoning. The wings weren't spicy either, though the mango had a little bit of a kick. I was a little too focused on my lasagna, but I did try a little of the grilled Moroccan lamb loin (tender) and the suya shrimp jollof pasta (bland, sauce too thin to coat the pasta, but shrimps were so yummy). And we did end with some dessert, which does not disappoint, though it was hard for me to choose.
