This is the first time that I have ever written a review for anything on the internet but when I tell you about this jewel called Midtown Social I cant brag enough. The place is huge, the music was the best, and the food was delicious and fairly priced, talk about the ambience of this jewel non can compare, so many servers made your head spin. My server was Joel and Madison and the list is so long because the entire staff is attentive to all guest. The DJ and singer were the best, they did us right. Will definitely go back and to those that may be reading this bless yourself and check out Midtown Social Restaurant and Bar.

I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time, only tables left when we got there if you didn't have a reservation were outside or seats at the bar. Food was eh. I got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was very well-seasoned and tasty but the waffles were kinda soft and very plain and underwhelming. My friend didn't like the potato side with the basic b breakfast. Our drinks were great though! $20 bottomless also seems like a great deal. Overall: super fun, high energy brunch spot that I suggest making a reservation for ahead of time but food is not great.

Live music started over an hour late, and there's not much standing room, so I'd recommend reserving a table. Now, onto the food. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos (three to a plate), which were supposed to be fried shrimp topped with Asian slaw and boom boom sauce. What I got instead? Iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, and a light drizzle of sauce. Not what was described or expected, or worth $20. Only bottled water available - small bottles for $5+. I declined. The price point overall didn't make much sense throughout the entire menu. To top it off, my friend ordered a Moscato and was given the wrong wine - Chardonnay, if I remember correctly. The waitress initially pushed back, but as the wine aficionado of the group, I could confidently say it wasn't Moscato. She eventually took it back to the bar, apologized, and swapped it. Would we go back? Yes--for the drinks and live music, once the night hits its stride. But for food? Not so much.

From the outside, you wouldn't be able to tell how large this place truly is. That's 3 levels: main floor with bar and high counter seating. Level two was more lounge, booth, and bar seating. Level three had lounge and a back area bar seating. We were told the lounge seats were by reservation only so we headed back to the main floor and grab an open table. Each floor had its own vibe and dedicated playlist/dj. The service was super slow to start. The same folks that were working the bar were also waiting the tables, so it took about 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and get waters and a menu. Hookah was through a separate vendor and was $60. We order the wings and fried shrimp. Both came with fries and were really good, tasted fresh, and seasoned well. The cocktails were strong, though my lemon drop arrived lukewarm so I and to transfer ice from my water to cool it down. Late night menu range from $17-19, cocktails were $15-20. Overall, I'm lowering stars bc of slow and spotty service. I'd probably be back to try other things on the menu, but I'll definitely be sitting at the bar.

I visited Apache Café on a Friday night, and unfortunately, the experience fell far below…read moreexpectations. The biggest issue was the customer service. I initially ordered a rum punch, but our server suggested that I try a Bahama Mama instead. When the drink arrived, I realized it contained coconut and explained that I have a coconut allergy. I was then told that drinks cannot be returned once they have been poured. That response was especially frustrating because the drink ingredients were not listed on the menu, and I had relied on the server's recommendation. The interaction with management made the situation worse. I was told that I needed to "stick to what I know" when ordering drinks, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Guests should not be spoken to that way, particularly when raising a legitimate allergy concern. The drinks also tasted overly diluted and did not reflect the price or quality I expected. Between the $20 entry fee and $15 parking charge, the overall value was difficult to justify. The ambiance is ok but the bar area is cluttered and what not. A few artists performed before we left, but the venue did not have the same energy or quality that I remember from previous years. Apache Café has long been known as a place that supports local talent, but based on this visit, both the customer service and product quality need serious improvement. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling undervalued as a customer, and I would be hesitant to return.

Best suited for adults ages late 20s to possibly mid 40s. I went during late brunch hours (after noon) on a summer Sunday and it was not busy. There were plenty of seats inside and outside on the patio. The patio is the best seating bc it is tucked under trees which is really cool to take in while you listen to music, chat and watch the visuals on the multiple tvs playing. Chicken skins as an appetizer. I really loved the idea when I thought I was getting the pork rind version of chicken skins but it turned out to be only some skin pieces and majority thigh meat chunks. Oxtail fried rice I found to be fair. It reminded me a ton of roast, as it was tender and tasted awfully familiar like one. My companion advised that the oxtail could have been better had it came with the traditional gravy because without it that made it lose some of the intended flavor of oxtail. The flight was fair as well. TiYou are allowed to pick your own brand liquor to specialize the drink which I thought was dope. The pricing was typical of club pricing. A personal bottle of Saratoga water was $7 which seemed a bit extreme. Gratuity was automatic. If I went again, I would for sure want to experience it at night and I'd likely only want to do drinks and a hookah. I feel like the outside is better suited for that as it was humid and I couldn't enjoy my good to the fullest extent because of that and flies. I came here for happy hour and specifically ordered off of the happy hour menu, which is of course limited so I don't think I got the full experience compared to ordering an entrée. However, the sliders that I got I legitimately did not like. I am willing to come back once more to try and entree though because my friend enjoyed hers. The service was decent. Nothing overly great about it, but it wasn't bad either. It is really spacious and beautiful though so I will give them that. I like the treehouse concept that this restaurant has.

I didn't like the espresso martini at all at first but after I said what was off, they knew exactly what to add and it ended up much better. The speakeasy vibe I remember also wasn't really there this time. The front felt a bit disorganized, and combined with the loud music, it just didn't have that same intimate, polished feel. Not sure if it was just an off night or if things are starting to slip a bit, but I'd still say it's worth trying for yourself.
