This is a quiet restaurant with a charming garden: No blaring music like everywhere else so conversations are possible. The server was nice and food was served promptly ; Nothing sophisticated but good flavors throughout and dishes made with the freshest ingredients. We had the green salad with pickles and a lemony vinaigrette, the meatballs with polenta , an excellent pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños and honey and the penne bolognese. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced . I will come back for sure.

No food in this photo, but don't we look like we're enjoying ourselves? Ambience galore!

Already went to Blair's in Eagle Rock and loved it. Our nephew didn't love Blair's Silver Lake but we're not sure why. In any event, we went to a show at the Elysian Theater that got out at 9 or so and we saw Blair's was open and thought we'd stop in. It was very quiet on a rainy night. All three dining areas are charming and romantic. Lots of candlelight. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Had a pasta and a couple of apps to share, and I had a glass of wine that was quite good. This was a while ago or I'd be more specific. All in all, a very nice dining experience and great food. Hope the nephew give it another chance.

    Calamari delicious!

Warm and friendly staff! Easy to park! Seated fast. Everyone very attentive! Puttanesca was insanely delicious!!!! Better than what I used to have at cafe zoetrope in sf owned by coppola! Tiramisu and Calamari also hit the spot! Cant wait to be back again!!!

Food was amazing. We started with yellowtail crudo, very fresh, garlicky and a just delight. The bruschetta was delicious. I don't know what bread they used but I'd eat that by itself. We a plate of carbonara, it was creamy with pancetta. Tiramisu was okay but the rest were perfection.

Fantastic date night spot! Ambiance: One of our favorite things. You can either dine by the bar or the other 2 rooms that had a stellar romantic vibe Parking: Metered street parking and we were lucky to find a spot right out front Service: Spectacular! We dined on a Thursday night and arrived when they opened. Within an hour, the place was PACKED and it seemed like there was only 1 server (male with a beard) and he was fantastic! Patient, kept his cool, knowledgeable and comped our dessert because our pizza took a while to come out Drinks: My husband tried their 3 happy hour drinks and he loved them all! I couldn't try because I was pregnant but he said i'd really enjoy the white wine from France that was refreshing. TBH I can't wait to return just to try the wine :P Food: Truffle fries were a great deal- large portion and part of HH. The Meatball polenta(?) was average and a bit cold :( My husband really enjoyed the 28 hot honey pizza and i opted for the penne ragu bolognese which didn't wow either of us, esp for the price of $27. We had the chocolate pot de creme dessert with dulce de leche whip and almonds. It was a great end to our meal- light and not too sweet Overall, we'd still return and go wild with the happy hour drink and food. Thanks for the amazing service!

Love Blairs! Delicious food, great service, relaxing ambiance! I've been here once before and everything was as delicious as I remember! Oyster mushroom w/red onion chives pizza was so yum. Arugula salad is a must at every visit, I could eat it everyday! Gnocchetti w/ Mushroom was a repeat, was so good, had to get it again. Tiramisu was a perfect ending to our dinner and tasted so homemade!! Highly recommend and will be back for sure. Perfect date night!

Incredible food and ambiance, but definitely pricey! Top dishes: market salad, puttanesca, trout Market salad (5/5) - incredible dressing, the PICKLES are such a welcome surprise, so fresh and herby I couldn't get enough Puttanesca (5/5) - so much flavor, pasta perfectly al dente Trout (4.5/5) - super interesting dish with a yogurty sauce and quinoa with raisins. Small portion though Pomodoro (4.5/5) - really solid Bread app (5/5) Calamari (5/5) - so crispy! Only thing I would not recommend is the meatballs with polenta - the meatballs were too moist and almost soggy? On top of the mushy polenta it was overall needing variation in texture.

Such a great place!Alot of different areas to sit. Outside you have big tables and seating with plenty of privacy. There are 2 areas outside for people to enjoy a meal. Inside there's 3 rooms for seating. They have alot of different pastas and pizza. Great entrees from fish to meat. we had the bread Service very freindly and fast. Very rustic feel to this place brings coziness.

The burrata bruschetta on rye bread was delicious (would go back just for that), parking was easy, and the ambiance outside was lovely! However, the main dishes took so long to come out that we were able to finish an entire New York Times crossword puzzle (40-50 mins)...was very close to leaving but they gave us free tiramisu which kinda made up for it

radiatori (bottom) and others (I don't remember what they are lol)

Came in on a weeknight to meet up with some friends for dinner. Parking was not an issue at all, but it is all street parking in the area. When you walk in there is no host stand, so we just went up to the bar. We had a reservation but it didn't seem to matter as there was plenty of space. While the indoor seating seems limited, there is another larger room with more tables. We opted to sit outside, as it was kind of loud inside. We ordered 2 starters, a bottle of wine, and some pastas. Although it took us awhile to decide what we wanted to order, our server was very patient and helpful when we asked questions. Service was great! Food was also good. The bruschetta with burrata was delicious, as was the arugula Caesar salad. The pasta was good, but nothing to tell home about. Overall a great spot to hang out and catch up over dinner. Glad I tried it!

    Bolognese and puttanesca.

Above average neighborhood spot. When I walked in I was immediately drawn to the warm lighting. Great music without being too loud (like most LA restaurants). We sat down at 6:20pm on a Monday, the server let us know happy hour was almost over. We quickly ordered the olives and market salad on happy hour. The olives were standard castelvetrano but a good portion. The market salad had fresh lettuces and herbs, a really nice lemony dressing with bread & butter pickles. The combination was surprisingly addictive. For mains we ordered the penne bolognese and the radiatore puttanesca. We liked the bolognese more but both were nice pasta dishes. The service was great, we were checked on multiple times. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

My gal pal and I came here on a Friday evening for wine flights and bites, and it reminded me why this place has remained such a neighborhood staple over the years. I hadn't been back in at least a decade, so it was nice to see the place still lively and thriving post-Covid. The inside bar was completely packed, but we lucked out and snagged one of the little outdoor tables. We shared the tater tots and a charcuterie board, while my friend got the Croque Monsieur. Everything paired perfectly with the wine flight we ordered from a visiting winemaker from Spain. His name escapes me, but it was such a cool experience getting to hear him talk through each wine personally. Covell does a great job bringing in unique guest winemakers and making wine feel approachable and fun rather than intimidating. I also love that they occasionally host live music, comedy events, and other happenings -- it gives the space a warm, community vibe. Whether you're looking for a casual date night spot or somewhere to catch up with friends over good wine, this place really hits the mark. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the wines they serve, which makes the experience even better. Definitely one of those special little Los Feliz gems that has stood the test of time.

Do yourself a favor and don't come here. I highly recommend the classic LA ambience at other close by establishments such as The Oaks on Bronson, the Alley in Silverlake or The Cara on Western instead. This place is like a bad Ryan Murphy series. It takes itself way too seriously. I've given them over 4 chances to change my mind since I live around the corner, and they never cease to amaze me when it comes to their entitled snotty staff & overpriced alcohol plus the parking is absolutely impossible! I even had to help customers break out of the parking lot one evening because the gate closes at a particular hour, and the restaurant doesn't even bother to tell you the gates shut at a particular time way before the restaurant closes. you're on your own, good luck getting your car out! avoid this place like the plague. This interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessary, particularly given that it was my first visit and no effort was made to provide a level of service that would warrant such a reaction. I believe feedback regarding gratuity should never be expressed directly to a customer, as it creates an uncomfortable environment and reflects poorly on the establishment. I expected a higher standard of professionalism and customer service. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it will be addressed and that future guests will have a more positive experience.

I did see some tables out on the sidewalk, but not sure if they all belong to them or Santos right next door. They have a good amount of wines that are domestic and international. Our server, Rob (I think that was his name), gave us a few samples to try before we landed on one. Their menu is not that extensive, so just be aware of that. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to grab a table inside at around 5:30pm on a Saturday. This place was busy. I really liked the Hamachi Crudo. That was so good, but there's only 4 slices for about $21. It's dressed in a ponzu yuzu sauce. It was so good that we ended up pouring the left over sauce on to our Tuna Tostada. Both items were fresh and I could not taste any fishiness. We also ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Cacio e Pepe. I thought the risotto was good, but the rice was definitely undercooked. I would have said something, but we didn't have much time left. The pasta reminded me of Mac n Cheese. I thought it was way too salty and didn't really do it for me. Kind of disappointed in the mains, but the 2 apps were really good.
