She was ecstatic when she saw it, and I was charmed by the presentation--it's October, so they had decorated it in a Halloween theme. They also had a Halloween menu, and the witches brew looked good, but we all stuck to the standard menu for our meal. I ordered the enchiladas suizas and it was very good, but again, overpriced I think. Mocktails are almost always too high (why am I paying alcohol prices for drinks without alcohol?) but I got one for my daughter and I anyway. Again, this restaurant knocks it out of the park with regards to presentation. They had a lot of seating indoors, and there were tons of tables outside as well. I'm not sure if they were totally following the 90-minute rule today because even though it was a beautiful Sunday at the beginning of October, we were seated immediately and there were tables available both in and outdoors the entire time we were there. But anyway, be forewarned that they have a time limit for tables, so you don't want to spend forever making your decision. There's no dedicated parking lot for the restaurant, so you'll be looking at the surrounding streets or the couple lots that are nearby. No reservations accepted.

The chicken was indeed smoky, the harissa potatoes were sweet, and I especially liked the Green Goddess slaw and mac & cheese. We've ordered three times now. The last order was missing the spicy red pepper sauce, which is actually a great on a few things on the plate. The mini cornbread muffin is as described in the screenshot and still somehow disappears faster than seems scientifically possible. Needless to say, when my husband tried it later, he also liked it.
