When I pulled into the AMPM parking lot, I was making a right turn into a parking space. I did swing a little wide, and I did not use my turn signal. While I acknowledge that mistake, it did not justify what happened next. The employee pulled in behind my vehicle, rolled down his window, and began verbally assaulting me. I told him he should have stopped tailgating me. In response, he made comments about sexually assaulting me, called me a dumb b****, and used several other vulgar insults. So even if I made the mistake of not using my turn signal, this employee felt comfortable enough to verbally assault a woman while driving a company vehicle. That behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the company. I called the company today to speak with a manager. The receptionist explained that he was in a meeting, which I understood. I called back later after the meeting had ended, but by then he had already left for an inspection. What disappointed me most was that I never even received a phone call acknowledging my complaint or attempting to schedule a time to discuss such a serious incident. I did finally get a call back. The manager said he will talk to him but I hope they do more than just talk to him. He should be let go. He threatened to sexually assault me.... They should be very concerned they have a man who is working for them with this short of fuse over a blinker that goes to people's homes... he was willing to do this in a very public setting.
