I went via drive thru during the morning shift prior to an appointment across town (an hour drive). Unfortunately, after departure on the highway I bit in to a cold sandwich. I tried to make the best of it by eating around the sandwich on the outer corners thinking it would be ok, but it wasn't. I tried taking a bite removing the meat, but the egg was just as cold. Ultimately, I had to make the best of it and just eat the bread to have something in my system being that I had an hour drive. This was roughly at 9:45 am. I attempted to contact the store via phone, but they don't have phones in store and instead you're routed to their website. Hours later, at 5pm I thought maybe the store would consider a refund. To my surprise the manager Sam refused after I shared my story due to a lack of receipt, not knowing how long I had the left overs, and that it was a half eaten sandwich. I advised that I didn't get a receipt, and that I still had the pending charge on my card. That wasn't sufficient, understandable. I asked if their rewards system would show my recent purchase and the barista said yes, but still her manager said they couldn't do anything for me. I know it appears it's half eaten in the photo, but you can see where I took my initial bite and the spit out the second. Notice the patty is still mostly there. I understand the challenges they must face with customers falsifying returns, but they had the software to prove my purchase and still declined. Something so simple they could have obliged and chose not to.

Quite disappointed. Let's start with there were no food items. Sold out. Cashier was nice. I went through the drive thru so I don't have much to say about the inside atmosphere of the coffee shop. First time there, betterp yet first time in Houston, Texas. Iwanted to try a different coffee shop but there was nothing to try but a few drinks. We got hot chocolate and well, that was meh. At least the lady at the drive thru window was pleasant.

Black Rock is opening up in my neck of the woods and I realized I didn't review the one in on Bay Area. Like usual when shopping in the area, I get thirsty. This place looked and sounded cool so we made our way through the drive thru. There was a steady line in front of me as well as behind so I felt the pressure to order fast. I asked the very nice employee behind the mic what her favorite was and she suggested the Caramel Blondie. We were in and out quick and I was enjoying the tasty drink on the road. It wasn't as coffee forward as I like, but it was a nice sweet treat if you're into those kind of drinks. I would definitely come back if in the area and needing a caffeine and sugar fix!

Rock Rock to the Black Rock Coffee Bar. I like it. Coffee Bars are the places to be these days. Very nice coffee bar. Staff was cool and helpful. Restrooms nice and clean. Most importantly, I enjoyed my Coffee. I had like Mexican Mocha and it was perfect. I like that this Coffee Bar has nice and comfy chairs and it's not too loud in there. Parking is good too.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. My old boss said it was great and I finally was able to give it a try. First off they have a bunch of unique flavored syrups that you don't see at your everyday coffee shop so that made it a little hard to decide. I had gone in wanting a lavender latte and that's what I got. Customer service was good, service was fast and friendly. They had a lot of room to sit and be comfy. Rock music was playing kinda loudly so I don't know how good it is to study. Coffee was good, they had lots of seating and plenty of space for parking. I'll definitely be back!

Modern coffee spot in Clear Lake that's not a Sbux. Plenty of parking, there's a drive through. Interior looks modern; not sure why but the kitchen floor looked very wet/muddy. Turnaround was pretty fast.

Black Rock Coffee Bar might be my new go to coffee spot whenever I'm near Baybrook Mall. Quick, efficient drive thru, and great coffee is all I need to start my morning off right. I tried their hot mocha w/ almond milk, caramel blondie iced, and Mexican mocha hot. The hot coffee was just how I like it! Strong aromatic coffee, the kind that fills your car w/ it's life giving energy in the morning. The iced caramel blondie was good too, just a tad sweet for me. The interior of Black Rock Coffee Bar is very modern feeling w/ their cool light fixtures. I could definitely see myself coming here to study or getting some busy work done. I'll for sure become a regular here soon!

I am visiting from Colorado and was told I had to try this place out. So I swung through the drive thru. We pulled up to the window and was instantly greeted by Matyi. Can I tell you that was the best customer service and conversation that I had ever had in a drive thru. He was so nice, courteous and funny. That was honestly a great way to start my trip to Texas! Coffee was watered down with way too much ice. So much ice the cup and lid were distorted. They said that's just how they make it. I couldn't get a straw in it. They said let the ice melt a bit and it will loosen up. But I paid five dollars for an iced coffee to drink NOW. And once the ice melts it's watered down. So it wasn't very good and they wouldn't fix it. read more

My caramel truffle iced drink is supposed to be less sweet but tasted like cheap yoohoo chocolate milk, way too sweet and zero coffee flavor (I'm assuming this is supposed to be a coffee drink). My wife got the espresso and it was bitter than most quality espressos. I tried it and it is probably about 2-3 times more bitter than Starbucks for example. Definitely not coming back. read more

I have visited this location a few times. Usually I order the iced coffee drinks such as the Irish cream or caramel truffle latte. However, every time I've ordered, it feels like I've asked for some coffee with my sugar & cream instead of the other way around. . Not sure how many shots of Expresso are included in their drinks, but I hardly taste any real coffee. Definitely tasty, however not strong enough to be qualified as coffee for me. read more

I am very disappointed in the amount of coffee that is actually in the cup once you get it. I have ordered on a daily basis and really enjoy their beverages but I just can't justify spending the money on an extra large and only getting half a cup. Completely unacceptable. My Uber eats driver even commented that this is an ongoing issue so I know it's not just me that this had happened to. read more

I love the baristas who work here, they're always so friendly and the environment as a whole is very welcoming. Being from Oregon, we had seen Black Rock but I'm not sure if either my husband or I ever actually went... Well, we went in Texas and I'm very glad we did. We enjoy our fru-fru coffee drinks, and Black Rock does not disappoint. First time coming here. I was looking for a spot to study before running errands and found this place!! The place is really spacious inside. I looked for the menu before ordering and came across the Mint Chip Chiller. I love anything with mint and decided to try it. Oh man, it was really good!! Not too minty, I really like it! The staffs were friendly. And whoever playlist is playing right now (I'm writing the review while I'm sitting at the table and jamming at the same time) A+++++ all the songs that were being played were the songs I listened to back in high school days. I often place pick up orders through Uber eats. The point of placing pick up orders is so that my order is ready when I get there so I can save time by not having to wait for my order. EVERY SINGLE time I place a pick up order, when I get there, they have not yet seen my order and didn't know I placed an order until I tell them. This results in me having to wait at least ten minutes for my order,which defeats the purpose of placing a pick up order. Maybe if the kids working there spent more time paying attention instead of talking to each other, they would get it right. They have repeatedly wasted my time. When I took the drinks back, the mgr. said they were 'out' of the pistachio cream, so the employee just didn't put any in my drink and gave it to me anyway. You should never just leave main ingredient of a drink out, charge people money for a product, and then just give them whatever you feel like.

Came in tonight for the first time in years and was let down. Came in at 9:20 the establishment closes at 10pm. Plenty of time to make decent drinks. Order a large milk tea with egg pudding and a fruit smoothie with popping boba. The milk tea tastes nothing like it used to. Tasted off, possible tasted as if it gone bad? The fruit smoothie was ok. The toppings were skimped! Overall, just disappointing.
