I don't think I have been to a Starbucks that was as rude or condescending as the staff at this Starbucks was today. I was in line in the drive-through and it came to be my turn after a significantly longer than normal wait where four of the cars in front of me pulled away and left because there was no movement going forward. When I got to the speaker, I said "I would like an apple oat milk caramel macchiato Venti." The gentleman who responded a nasty and sarcastic, "Oh wow! That was seasonal from back at Christmas." I politely replied "I've had it made here before after the season ended. Please be creative and make me something similar." His response was "Well. You can go to another Starbucks. We're not going to do that for you." So I left. And I will never ever EVER go backto this Starbucks. Mind you, Vente caramel macchiato IS on the menu. So the only thing that they may not have had was the Apple flavoring associated with this order. Had they simply said "We can make you a caramel macchiato with oat milk but we don't have the apple syrup." I would've purchased it, or I would have asked "what seasonal syrups do you have available?" And chosen a substitute. Instead, they chose to send me away. This barista being an A-hole and being in customer service, doesn't go very well together. The response was absolutely unnecessary. Do yourself a favor and go to the Starbucks on 518 instead. read more

They are always out of drinks flavors/food. If you're that busy order extra basic math. Especially the holiday time it's going to be busy.

Arguing with customers seems to be a common theme here. I have ordered the same drink every morning since holiday menus rolled out and my drink is NEVER made the same at this location! I started ordering my cold brew with extra foam here exclusively bc I was told by staff their "machine doesn't foam properly at times" then when I order with extra foam sometimes it's fine and sometimes it's all foam no coffee?! Any time I have asked baristas to remake my drink they've given me attitude and make an effort to tell me why my drink is the way it is or how I ordered it. I worked at Starbucks for 3 years and adding extra foam does not make a separated drink a MIXED drink. This morning the barista had the audacity to argue with me over a drink that is pictured on their menu and was visibly made incorrectly. How are you gonna argue when you're looking at the same drink I am which isn't anything of what it looks like on menu. I have given many chances to like this location or for it to just be standard but they can't make drinks properly, and I'm not going to waste $6 a day on a trash cup of coffee. read more

If you want your coffee in a reasonable time I'd suggest ordering via the app. I try and do things in person as I truly dislike the impersonal shopping experiences. Sitting here for 20min waiting for my order I watched pile of varying 10-15 orders for pickup sit there and growing. I get the feeling that they prioritize online orders and drive through, and in person orders are last on the priority. Sad they treat people willing to come into the store that way. I requested the correct order that I paid for politely, only for them to give me something else STILL and try to pass it off as what I ordered. Only reason I'm giving this rating is the amount of time it takes to get your order. I've waited for about 10-15 minutes in the drive through, to get my coffee. The staff is overly nice and super friendly which sometimes makes up for the long wait. But seriously if y'all have somewhere to be, choose a different Starbucks or make a mobile order and pick it up inside. read more

I'm not a huge frequenter of Starbucks and this one meets expectation. The best thing about it is the location, very near NASA Johnson Space Center as well as Space Center Houston. Easy access from east or west bound NASA Parkway. The inside is a bit cramped (not that I expect an expansive room). But if I go with a few friends it seems like there is seldom a place to sit. Note that everything is clean and the line is non-intrusive to the seating which is good. The staff has always been top notch, no issues what-so-ever. Note I usually just get a plain coffee so I'm not asking for much. The parking lot is a bit fragmented. They recently tore out a former bank ATM portico to create more space. Prior to that it was a busy lot with a number of other businesses in the strip mall plus some side parking. So in summary, you can rely on good service and access to here. Don't count on getting a table, but know you will get what you expect. read more

Friendly employees at this location. My summertime favorite is the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. I love that they have this in Trenta size (larger than Venti). Sadly I am sure it will go away for the winter. :( They usually have great boxed snacks and sandwiches if you decide you are hungry. read more

I'm not the biggest fan of Starbucks. That being said; every location of theirs I've ever been to is good. So my personal opinion doesn't merit a bad rating.... 4 stars. Now on to my personal opinion......I rather a local coffee shop to a Starbucks most any day. Many moons ago, as a teenager I was a regular Starbucks customer. My regular drink was a Venti Green Tea Frappucino, with almond instead of the melon syrup. The recipe by default at the time called for them to put melon syrup in it. After a few years of me ordering that they stopped carrying almond syrup. No idea if they have it again nowadays. It's been years, and I'm rarely at a Starbucks nowadays. It's staggering the amount of money one can save with not going to Sbucks every day like I usually did long ago. At the location I frequented back in the day, when I would order my custom green tea frap, I'd often get the "so your that person" from the barista after placing my order. My slightly custom order had gained some fame behind the counter apparently. Nowadays whenever I go to a Sbucks I usually order their signature hot chocolate with a substitute of coconut milk for the regular milk. Yet I still get the whip cream on top. So much for my lactose intolerance. Their hot chocolate is pretty good. Nothing that would make me a regular again. But it's good. This specific location I was at this time had the most light sockets available to customers that I've ever seen. Shame I didn't take a pic. Maybe it's something all locations of theirs have nowadays, but the whole wall was lined with electric plugs. Looked like a wall length surge protector along the walls. There was some more under the table we were at even. Was pretty neat. The wife and I were on a double date with friends. We had a good time. read more

This is pretty much your standard Starbucks with the same amenities that most of these stores have. I come here most often because it is close to work, the people are nice, and the product is pretty consistent from one visit to the next. In some other places (Starbucks or otherwise), the quality and taste of the drink depends upon the barista that is working at the time. The place is pretty clean, and the service is generally pretty fast. There are times when things get backed up, and they have messed up my order only once (and they fixed it right away). read more

So, tried ordering on the app for the 1st time and sent my order to this location; as its only a couple of miles from my house. I completed the check out process just before getting in the car to leave. It takes 5 -7 min to get there. When I arrived just before noon the drive thru was packed so I pulled up out front to run in. Had my dogs with me because i had planned to get them a puppacino at the drive thru. I went in, stepped up to the counter and waited for someone to help. They were a little busy but not slammed by any means. While waiting I looked down and saw breakfast sandwiches strewn on the counter. I realized there was my order just lying on the counter for anyone who wanted to rifle through as well as my drinks randomly setting there. The drinks and sandwiches weren't even together, there was no cap on the hot coffee and the frappuccino was already starting to melt! I asked the barista is this my order? She never clearly responded didn't ask if I needed a bag or drink carrier, zero help. She walked away without me even having the opportunity to ask her for the puppacino. Normally I tip well at Starbucks. I wish I could have dedicated from her pay as well as whoever slung my food and drinks on the counter. I had to go back to the car and face my disappointed pups . This was my 1st time visiting this location and more than likely my last! read more

Visiting the area last week, we used this Starbucks at minimum once a day and several days multiple time visits. One of the most inconsistent Starbucks we have ever seen. When I'm spending $5 on a cup of coffee, please, have the courtesy to look up when you take my order. Acknowledge the person that is spending hard earned money to keep you in a job. Did they get a new primary barrista in the morning? The last two times I ordered my usual iced doppio, it's been wrong. The first time I received an iced latte and the second time an iced americano. Of course, people make mistakes all the time. But the negative attitude this particular barrista emits is almost palpable. I had to say excuse me several times to ask for a new drink and wasn't acknowledged until the manager overheard me. If looks could kill... The guy behind the counter lacked proper training, couldn't mark a cup for a caramel latte correctly, day one learning, which caused the barista to make the drink incorrectly. None of the apple juices had straws, and the barista calling out drink orders was quieter than a mouse. If your not standing right at the bar you would miss your drink. The barista working the warming oven burnt my bagel. But my blonde roast was delicious. Maybe I came on an off day, but I was not impressed. Update: my husband went in to get his caramel latte remade, and they couldn't get their stuff together long enough to make his drink correctly for the second time. This is my go to Starbucks. Not only is it located extremely close to our house, but the service is great. They always recognize my husband and know his order- I don't frequent as much as he does! The line in the morning can be rather long but it does move quick and the staff are on top of things. I love the iced coffee- but my only complaint about this location is they don't understand "a splash of half & half" or "go very light on the creme". My iced coffees tend to be a little lighter when I order from this location. The store itself is always clean and well stocked. Everything from the bagels to the cookies are great snacks for anytime of day. Again, friendly staff! Overall glad to call this location my home base Starbucks! read more

This was the kind of location that you just have to write a review for. All of the workers had an amazing attitude and were so sweet! They asked me how I was after taking my order which I just found especially sweet and just a nice way to begin someones day. Gus was so kind and we had a nice chat in the small time it took for them to get my order out. This is the worst Starbucks I've been to (and I've been to a lot). The guy taking my order (Devon? I think) was constantly chatting to other employees over his headset. He got the size of my drink wrong. When I corrected him, he instead added a second drink to my order. When he handed me my receipt, I asked him to correct it. Took forever to fix and credit me. Meanwhile, I got 2 of their mini vanilla scones. He said there was a discount (there always is) if I got 3. I said I was fine with two. He rung me up for three. I asked for lowfat milk, he gave me skim. There was zero customer service. He couldn't even pay attention to his customers since he was so busy chatting (and not, it wasn't to drive through customers). Terrible starbucks and glad I don't have to go back there. read more
