Rating: 4.5 I've…read morebeen meaning to try this place for a while but decided to try because i passed by and was in the area. It's a small tea shop in providence that offer toppings such as boba and sides like taiwanese chicken. They offer different tea toppings like boba, crystal, jelly, ..etc and also sweetness, milk substitute and ice options. Parking is street parking only and can be difficult to find during busy time. Inside is nicely decorated and has good aesthetic. Seatings are limited so I would not expect to find one unless you are lucky. I guess the name of the place is derived from cha which means tea in Chinese and Daruma who is a founder of zen Buddhism. They have a mascot who looks like Buddha holding a bubble tea. I ended up ordering black milk tea with boba and taiwanese popcorn chicken with seaweed and salt/pepper. Tea came out right away and was pretty good. Good tea flavor but maybe a bit too sweet. Boba is home made and its nice and chewy and no inconsistency. I would do 75% sugar and less ice next time for my liking. Taiwanese popcorn chicken was juicy and flavorful. We also got lucky with seating so we sat down to enjoy their food and drink. Service was good and no issues. Overall the place is pretty good. I think everything was good quality and definitely one of the better tea/fried chicken place around RI. If it was in more convenient location I would definitely come back often but I would likely only stop by if I'm already around the area. I did like the place.

They are also out of ingredients sometimes, including their house made bubbles. On my most recent visit, they messed up my order too. I think the drinks are good, but the service and overall experience is frustrating. My only guess is that I go towards the end of the day (5ish), potentially during a "rush", so I am going to try earlier in the day to see if there is a difference.

The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and efficient, making my visit smooth and enjoyable. One of the standout features of Kwench is the inviting atmosphere. The walls are decorated with lists of fresh fruits and vegetables, reinforcing their commitment to healthy, high-quality ingredients. It's a great spot for a quick, nutritious pick-me-up. I'll definitely be returning! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh smoothies and great service. I went on a Saturday so was able to find parking but mindful of off street parking :)

Better than buying stored products with preservatives. I always order from the raw juices memu. I have switched from Coffee and tea in t he morning because of this healthy change over. Service: The owner is always around. If you are a returning customer he usually knows what you like and what can suit the purpose or cleanse you need. Example, you went out on a night of drinking he would recommend what is the best combo to get you through the day. Ambience: The ambience is great. I love all of the colors and maps of Providence. The name of the drinks are names of recognized streets in downtown Providence. I think it is great to know and order the drink you drive or walk around is unique concept around here. I am upgrading my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. This place is fantastic. I have not gotten sick since switching to this great alternative. No more different vitamin or supplements anymore. When they closed during the holiday I was in hell. After a night of drinking this really does the trick! 5 stars without a doubt!

I went in with a craving for something sweet, creamy, and cold, but ended up going for something light and fruity: the peach Yakuit slush. It was only $0.80 more to go from a medium to a large so I went for it and also added aloe for $1. The total was around $7-$8. I did use one of the two kiosks they have since it was my first time there and I wanted to take my time exploring the menu. It was super easy to use, only accepts card payments, and will send you a text when the order was placed and when it's ready. While I waited, I took in the details of the place, including the soft pastel colors and also the theme of squirrels which are one of my favorite animals. I liked the art on the walls, and they've used the space well with some tables along the window looking out to Thayer street, while others hugging the entrance ramp. I did not interact with the staff but they looked like they were killing it behind the counter to push out orders in a timely manner. When I did get my order, I thought it was pretty with a rose pink slush, bright pieces of peaches, and bottom layer of white aloe. I tried shaking it a bit to try to mix it up but it didn't work too well. They have straws with a thick opening to get the chunks through. The slush was very flavorful and a good consistency.

Also, within a block of Brown University making the ambience modern, perky and resilient. I was thrilled at the food options being that it's a cafe. My wife and I started with a vegan breakfast sandwich (brioche rolls filled with vegan egg, sausage and cheese) I washed mine down with an Italian soda which was not too bad, but it was canned. Of course, I can't be in New England and not have New England clam chowder. The chowder had plenty and I mean plenty of clam in it but it did get a little cold due to the weight of my server. The service was absolutely amazing. The young lady was so nice and I got the feeling it was her first day though. So, grace given there. She tried hard to remain friendly and positive. She even returned to ask if my wife would prefer to add vanilla and cinnamon to her latte. Nice touch! The manager training our server had his hands full but still took the time to be nice to us. Caffe Nero was filling up with people while my server was busy trying to prepare my order. She's only human and I could see her becoming visibly anxious and overwhelmed however she held it for appearance sakes. Hats off to her! No complaints about anything because I've worked in customer service for many years and they all did a fantastic job. Thank you Caffe Nero for a remarkable and rememberable experience.
