The presentation of the tea was lovely, with a glass teapot and an unexpected side-serving of candied ginger. I liked the tea timer addition, for the perfectly brewed cuppa. I didn't personally care for my tea selection, as I didn't taste the main coconut flavor that was in the tea's name. I thought it was a nice touch that staff brought the tea to the table. However, it was then unexpected that you self-bus your table afterwards, which staff told me explicitly after dropping off my tea. Thus, I'm guessing people frequently didn't realize they were expected to bus their table after the initial service upfront. I felt mixed about the ambiance. I liked the neutral tones in theory, the windows, and a wall to the right that appeared to have wood elements. However, the lighting was too dim indoors, and instead of casting a warm glow and feeling cozy, it felt kind of drab and industrial/cold with all the grey. The concrete floor was significantly cracked and enhanced the non-cozy feel, and you can see in the photo that the chairs kind of look like patio furniture rather than a cafe vibe. While the table next to me was a unique resin table that was very cool and much more the aesthetic I tend to seek out, my own table was plain & worn. There were cute pillows on the back bench, which was the coziest element to the design, IMHO. Overall, I'd say the ambiance is eclectic and functional, but not cute or comfortable enough that I'd personally adopt it as a third space. At the same time, they had a LOT of other items on the menu. If I'd ordered differently and thought the food & beverages were amazing, I might not have focused so much on the ambience...& you might not either. This place probably works best when you're meeting up with a friend or you need to get work done, and are not overly focused on the nuance of atmosphere or what you ordered. There were only two other guests there when I visited, so it was a quiet space.

Walking is far superior thanks to the adjacent Greenway and one-way street. The cafe itself is medium-sized with seating for about 15-20 and 5-6 tables and 6 or so bar top seats. It was also a sunny-lit space. Several people were minding their businesses on their respective laptops. Seating can also be found outside or inside the building, so you don't need to worry about not finding a seat unless there's a crowded event happening. The danish was fine, it was cold, maybe a bit sour-ish. It cost $5.50. My chai latte was $6+$1 ($7 total) because I replaced the whole milk with oat milk costing that extra dollar. I maybe should have ordered it hot since that's how I prefer my chai, but it was over 90F outside so who can blame me. Service was fine! They just call out your order and you get up to get it. Overall, a relaxed vibe with the typical ambient cafe noises.

Last time I tried one of their teas, but this visit I had to order the Honey Bee Latte. It absolutely lived up to the hype and has easily earned a spot in my Top 3 of the RI Food Fights Best Iced Coffee Challenge. One of my favorite parts of visiting is chatting with the owner. She's incredibly passionate about what she creates, and that enthusiasm makes the experience even better. While waiting, I enjoyed wandering through the jungle of beautiful plants and, of course, saying hello to Popeye, the resident African Grey Parrot. Honestly, what could be better than a fantastic iced coffee surrounded by plants? I also picked up a gluten-free treat from Grain Reaper Baking Co., and it was delicious. Sweet, fresh and a perfect pairing with my latte. If you haven't discovered this hidden gem yet, put it on your list. Great coffee, friendly people, lush greenery and a parrot named Popeye? It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! They also have some pastries and baked goods from Seven Stars Bakery, and we thoroughly enjoyed a small lemon cake. We'll likely be back in our last few days in town because we became quick fans!

I like the branding, brightness of the cafe, and the fact that there's a decent amount of seating. I got the Iced French Vanilla Espresso Latte + Espresso Teddy which was well-made, bold, and enjoyable. I think the Espresso Teddy is actually made with cold brew and not espresso which I expected given the name and would have preferred. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the slow melt and the boost of caffeine I got as I kept sipping. And it's super cute! The Iced Mont Blanc was also a good try; the sweet orange flavor was subtle and surprisingly enjoyable adding a bright taste to each sip. If I'm ever back in Providence, I would totally come back and maybe try their matcha drinks.
