When we arrived, the owner was extremely nice and welcoming. I ordered tea for my younger daughter, who loved both the tea and the atmosphere. I also ordered tea for my college-bound daughter who wasn't feeling well. When I explained that she was very sick and had requested tea, the owner not only brought out her drink but also made her a second one special, just for her saying he hoped she would feel better. There were also tea samples at the front counter along with honey. I ended up buying two teas (mango matcha and decaf hazelnut cinnamon cream) and a cranberry maple rub.
