We were a big group of 9. it was a lovely experience, from the the lovely owner that waited on us to the accommodations made for my lactose intolerant sister. The food was great as well. I had carrot ginger soup as a starter, which was delicious. Then the quiche, which was buttery and cheesy and so good. Every morsel from the delightfully carrot ginger soup, mouth watering quiche and elegantly presented tea sandwiches/ canapes, scones .etc were absolutely delicious! What a delight it was to go for tea today. I was expecting tea and the typical three tire deserts and finger sandwiches. This was so much more. The soup and quiche were excellent and the fruit was sooo fresh. That in and of it self would have made for a nice afternoon. But wait there is more.... Three tiers of yumminess. The owner of this tea house is friendly and accommodating. I booked for a party of 18 on a busy Saturday during the holiday season, and was able to change my reservation multiple times as more people were able to come. They were very flexible and checked for any dietary concerns. Our party had high tea, and everything was delicious. We started with a carrot ginger honey soup or tomato soup. I've never had carrot soup, and it was so good, I'm going to try and recreate the recipe at home. Other said the tomato soup was just as delicious. Next we had an asparagus quiche and salad. The quiche was good, but I would have liked a larger slice. We had tea portions, but there was a lot of dessert, and having a larger slice of savory would have been nice. The tea tray had assorted tiny sandwiches-my favorite was the apple slice, basalmic and cheese. The cookies and chocolates were very nice. I love the raspberry hearts and spice cookies. The tea flavor Paris is a new favorite of mine. I would have preferred a pastry like a cream puff, turnover, or petit fours over the cupcakes on top of the tea tray. The chocolate cupcakes were a bit dry, and the frosting was a confectioners sugar and butter frosting which is never my favorite. A meringue buttercream would have been a better choice. This is a great place for gathering a group, and our hosts were lovely. We had a great time with yummy food. read more

Today we had my sisters bridal shower at Trinity Confections....maybe I should start earlier...in February of this year my aunt and I discovered Trinity Confections because we were looking for a place to have my sisters bridal shower. R meWhen we got there the owner Jennine we extremely gracious and sat with is for almost 2 hours discussing pricing and menu options. My aunt and I not only loved how beautiful the store is on the inside but how attentive Jennine was. We booked for 10/10. Today was the shower and it was amazing! Once again Jennine was attentive and made everything extra special and pretty for my sister. On top of how she decorated the food was out of this world! Everything was delicious but by far the potato leak soup was my favorite! All of the guests have been calling me this evening to say what a wonderful time they had and how they really can't wait to go back. Thank you for all your hard work! Took my family (which includes 2 twin toddlers) here for my Wife's birthday. The owner was phenomenal to deal with and highly obliging. The service was lovely and the decor inside was exactly what a European tea room should be --charming antiques, simple and European homely. We had reserved the high tea. The food was excellent; I highly recommend the carrot soup. The finger sandwiches were lovely while the scones/cakes/biscuits were a great mix of traditional and original. The salad and quiche were a joy that surprised our whole table. The owner had even customized the delicious cupcakes to my wife's favorite color. The centerpiece was the tea. As a Brit, I was raised on the beverage. I'm not a snob when it comes to beer or wine but I do have a high bar for a decent cuppa. Every pot of tea we had was the best I have had outside of the UK. I've never tasted such delicious soup (carrot ginger) and quiche (bacon cheddar), not to mention all the other goodies. I don't particularly like tea but tried the "Paris" and liked it so much I bought some for home. Everything is made from scratch. Unfortunately I didn't finish the desserts and then forgot my take out box when I left. I guess I'll just have to return with friends! I went here with my mom and my sister for high tea. To put it simply, this place exceeded every expectation we had. We thought we would be sharing a pot of english breakfast tea and eating some scones, but instead we each got to choose our own tea from the huge wall of tea. Janine (the incredibly sweet owner) even let us walk behind the counter so we could smell the open teas to get a better sense of what teas we would like. When we finally picked out our teas (I HIGHLY recommend the coconut chai latte tea), we sat down and were served our soup. We all got the pureed roasted butternut squash soup (tomato was the other option) and it was outstanding! Next we were brought out a three tiered tray filled with egg salad sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, scones, cookies, blueberry bread, a cupcake and chocolates. We were also served quiche with salad. Everything she served us was homemade - even the chocolates - and every single thing was absolutely delicious!! There wasn't anything we didn't enjoy! The best part was that you got to try as many teas as you wanted! Besides the exceptional quality of the food, a separate five stars needs to be given to Janine. Her service went above and beyond what you would expect from a server. She wasn't just attentive and helpful, she made you feel like she was serving you tea in her home as if she had personally invited you over for afternoon tea. Her suggestions and recommendations were wonderful. When we finished eating, she made sure we knew we could stay there as long as we wanted to, and that we could order as much tea as we'd like. The high tea service was very affordable, only costing $25. Frankly, for how much food, tea, and exceptional service you get, we definitely got undercharged. read more

The atmosphere is quaint and the table settings are beautiful. We started out with the Paris black tea which was wonderful and then there were soup, quiche, tea sandwiches, pastries and desserts. What a perfectly lovely (and delicious) tea! I was invited for a baby shower for about 40 people. The tea (Paris blend) was very good- we all commented on it!- and we started with a ginger carrot soup. Next the hostess and two pleasant teen aged girls brought out traditional tea tiers with an assortment of finger sandwiches (cucumber; chicken salad, brie with apple and a really nice reduction of some kind), sweets (blueberry lemon scones, linzer tarts, chocolate truffles, chocolate bread, ginger cookies....) and topped with chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and chocolate caramels. And there was more! After we had the tea sandwiches and before we got to the sweets, there was a delicious quiche Loraine served alongside halved grapes, and a lettuce, cheese an apple salad. All home made, all following the owner's grandmother's recipes, and all on said grandmother's beautiful china! What a hidden gem! The owner was lovely. Highly recommend! read more
