We had another wonderful experience at Trinity Confections today! The food and tea were fantastic. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell! The gluten free options are amazing. I highly recommend Trinity Confections and can't wait to go back!

Such a little gem. Would recommend this place to anyone! The food is all homemade and fresh. Family owned business with the sweetest owner. They host private events that are always amazing and thoughtfully done. Highly recommend!

This is the sweetest family owned business. Its a very small cutesy business, and the service is so personal, makes you feel special. The food was amazing! So delicious and the perfect amount, i came out full. They offer caffeine free tea as well, and you can change flavors. We had peppermint and raspberry. Very reasonably priced, and you can purchase tea and teapots to take home. Highly recommend!

The quality of the tea, food, and service were all an 11/10. We are excited to come back for more! A special note should be mentioned about the very gracious owner/hostess- who personalized the experience. She was warm, welcoming and very interesting to talk to. What a great place!

From start to finish, my baby shower was a dream come true here at your beautifully ran family tea room. The food was outstanding, the service- impeccable. Each and every one of my friends and family agrees that it was the best baby shower ever. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything.

Steeping tea and delicious treats!

My sister and I took my mom here for her birthday. We had the absolute most lovely afternoon. The owner and her daughters made us feel like we were in their living room. The tea was delicious and so was every single one of the house made confections. The recipes that have been handed down across this family's generations are treated with such care and made with joy that could be tasted in every bite. Can't wait to go back!

A nice comfortable tea time enjoyment. Reasonable price for the outstanding assortment of foods/drinks. (21-35$ per guest based on the meal plans/brunch/afternoon tea) They have a wide range of teas to chose from and highly recommend trying them all.

We had the most lovely time today at Trinity. The afternoon high tea was just delicious. The Paris tea was so good we had to buy tins of it to make at home. Every single thing we had was just delicious. The homemade tomato soup and the quiche just added to the delight.

We had my friend's bridal shower here and it's so wonderful. Genine is great and the food and service is spectacular..... Everyone is smiling and enjoying themselves.....

Trinity Confections is absolutely a 10!!!! The food is delicious and all freshly prepared. The deserts are sinfully delectable as are the home made chocolates. An extensive selection of teas and a knowledgable owner who can help you with your decision. The owner and her 3 daughters are wonderful hostesses. You'll truly feel like royalty with the attentive service, perfectly prepared and served, delicious High Tea luncheon. My sorority sisters and I have been here twice now and will be back again for sure. A fabulous time had by all. Reasonably priced and worth the cost!!!

I made a reservation for a Sunday afternoon tea time and was seated right away on arrival. The…read morefirst type of tea arrived within minutes and not long after was brought the trays of snackages. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the fact that most everyone was appropriately dressed for a tea time experience. The big highlights for me were desserts and scone. The scones were warm and not at all dry. My only critique was that the chicken salad sandwich had far too much bread, could barely taste any of the filling. Desserts for the day were a Salted caramel bon bon, Strawberry frosted Donut macaron, and Lemon cheesecake petit four. Everything tasted excellent (except the lacking chicken salad sandwich) and was well prepared. I thought the experience was well worth the money, definitely recommend. It would be nice if they offered a selection of teas to buy and take home.

We came to celebrate my birthday, so they lit a candle for us which was cute and appreciated! The menu is posted online in advance, so you know what you're getting. I enjoy eating many different things in small bite-sized portions and I thought all of the food tasted good. The portion is a full meal, albeit it's mostly carbs and sugar. That would be my one critique--it's a bit too sweet and there weren't enough savories. Price-wise, it was $50 per person. I really like that the price is inclusive of taxes, service, and tips. The photos show food at $100 for two people. It was filling, but a very sugary filling. The decor is cute, but some details could have been better. For example, the tea cake tower is black and modern-looking and honestly, not cute or matching. Some light piano music softly playing in the background would have been nice. The customer service is fine. We did street parking and while we came at a rather odd time, we still got a bit of traffic due to construction. Overall, I really enjoyed tea time at Sweet Marie's and would consider coming here again for a special occasion!

I've brought my infant daughter a number of times and she loves toddling around making friends. The vibe is welcoming, the staff - especially the owner - is incredibly kind and there are so many homey touches to the decor. Other local businesses are used wherever possible (tea, pastries, etc). Coffee is... Yes. Really fun, funky and delicious seasonals, spot on regular bevvies that can accommodate many different tastes. I've tried the bagels with homemade cream cheese (yum) and a pastry or two (also yum). Haven't given that toasts or oatmeal a whirl yet but they all look great. All in all, The Nook is perfect and I always look forward to spending time here. Stay awesome.

They ended up giving my a egg & cheese on A bagel but it was still very good! They don't use a cheap microwaved egg like some places do either. (The croissant is also a good option!) But let's be real here... that's not why I wait 7 cars deep most early mornings in a drive thru line... The cinnamon rolls are the reason. These things just hit every time man. They arnt really anything over the top like a thick cinnamon bun out of your oven or anything like that. They are your simple cinnamon roll with icing on it not frosting but they are just so delicious - easily the standout. (Sometimes they run out!) They're mostly known for their coffee, and you can tell. They have a hoping business and everyone usually leaves with a coffee amongst other options like their bagels or baked goods. Inside is pretty small with very little seating so not the best place to get any work done or hangout. Overall, they are a very busy place and most people put an online order in to beat the crowd. The drive thru service is pretty quick for being busy and also very friendly. If you're going, don't overthink it - get the cinnamon roll.

The presentation of the tea was lovely, with a glass teapot and an unexpected side-serving of candied ginger. I liked the tea timer addition, for the perfectly brewed cuppa. I didn't personally care for my tea selection, as I didn't taste the main coconut flavor that was in the tea's name. I thought it was a nice touch that staff brought the tea to the table. However, it was then unexpected that you self-bus your table afterwards, which staff told me explicitly after dropping off my tea. Thus, I'm guessing people frequently didn't realize they were expected to bus their table after the initial service upfront. I felt mixed about the ambiance. I liked the neutral tones in theory, the windows, and a wall to the right that appeared to have wood elements. However, the lighting was too dim indoors, and instead of casting a warm glow and feeling cozy, it felt kind of drab and industrial/cold with all the grey. The concrete floor was significantly cracked and enhanced the non-cozy feel, and you can see in the photo that the chairs kind of look like patio furniture rather than a cafe vibe. While the table next to me was a unique resin table that was very cool and much more the aesthetic I tend to seek out, my own table was plain & worn. There were cute pillows on the back bench, which was the coziest element to the design, IMHO. Overall, I'd say the ambiance is eclectic and functional, but not cute or comfortable enough that I'd personally adopt it as a third space. At the same time, they had a LOT of other items on the menu. If I'd ordered differently and thought the food & beverages were amazing, I might not have focused so much on the ambience...& you might not either. This place probably works best when you're meeting up with a friend or you need to get work done, and are not overly focused on the nuance of atmosphere or what you ordered. There were only two other guests there when I visited, so it was a quiet space.

Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! I like the branding, brightness of the cafe, and the fact that there's a decent amount of seating. I got the Iced French Vanilla Espresso Latte + Espresso Teddy which was well-made, bold, and enjoyable. I think the Espresso Teddy is actually made with cold brew and not espresso which I expected given the name and would have preferred. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the slow melt and the boost of caffeine I got as I kept sipping. And it's super cute! The Iced Mont Blanc was also a good try; the sweet orange flavor was subtle and surprisingly enjoyable adding a bright taste to each sip. If I'm ever back in Providence, I would totally come back and maybe try their matcha drinks.
