This dining room is absolutely stunning. What a beautiful spot downtown offering strong Wi-Fi and tasty coffee. Obviously, the story behind the place is wonderful, and I can't imagine anyone not wanting to support a business with a mission. However, the coffee is actually really good with tasty treats in the window like fun rice crispy treats and muffins. The service is super friendly. How can you go wrong!

This is a local outpost of a growing coffee shop chain dedicated to hiring individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Given this, I expected to find a group of counter staff and servers who might be well-supervised and closely observed while learning their trade. I was surprised today, though, to find a trio who'd driven up from Connecticut to cheer on their cousin, our cashier - who was so friendly, competent, and patient - with us! I like the design of the space, and really was impressed by the clever use of matching sets of playing cards (one for the customer, the other for the barista) so that shy workers and those for whom speech might not come easily can still bring our orders! I had an excellent iced latte (I wasn't asked for my milk preference, but would have ordered non-dairy from the start if I'd wanted it); my husband had a cold brew. My drink was excellent; his was good, but slightly bitter. Prices are about the current average for a cup of coffee, so this might become a near-daily stop, since I work just across the street. What will definitely be on my next visit though is one of the tasty looking breakfast sandwiches I didn't get to try today! Parking may be tough for the casual visitor, so maybe the target audience is the large student population in the area, maybe its residents in the large Station Row/Park Row complex. In any event, try to make it here at least once. It's a beautiful space with a great mission and good coffee.

I'm really torn about this place. The inside is beautiful, the staff is so sweet and the Wi-Fi is strong. It's a perfect spot to sit and get work done because they have comfy booths in the back so if you're sitting for a long time you won't be uncomfortable. And of course, you can't go wrong with a place that was built upon such strong community values. My issue was, the breakfast sandwiches are premade so you cannot make any changes to them and unfortunately, they don't offer a sandwich that does not have meat on it. My latte was honestly really bad. It taste just like a cup of warm milk. It's hard because I know it was made with love and the staff was really attentive, but unfortunately, I didn't love the items I purchased. There is two hour unmetered parking out front, which is a plus. They're not a lot of spots but enough if you're going early in the morning.

My friend wanted to check out this place because it was new, but also because of the mission behind it. Based on their website, "Bitty & Beau's Coffee is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual & developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace. It's a place where diversity isn't just appreciated, it's celebrated. Bitty and Beau's proudly employs 450+ individuals with disabilities nationwide." When you walk in, this message is also sprinkled on the walls, and their merchandise corner (I was tempted to get something). The menu is not overwhelmingly long, which is appreciated. I got their matcha latte, and after about 10 minutes, I had my order in my hand. While I waited, I read the stuff on their walls, and noticed how cozy some of their seating looked. I love the system they have for keeping track of orders. They have a sleeve with two of the same playing cards, they keep one and give you the other. When they call your playing card, you know your order is ready. As we walked out of the place, I noticed my cup had a handwritten note that read "We love you" and my friend's said something else. It was a unique touch, and a great way to start the day. I didn't realize there were more locations, but there are a couple others.

I love coming to Bitty & Beau's! It is such an amazing concept! I love the energy in this cafe. You are always greeted with a warm and energetic hello. The staff is lovely and always put a smile on my face. The coffee is really good. I recently ordered a lemon berry muffin. They suggested I warm it up and I was so happy that I listened! The lemon curd warmed up was EXCELLENT! I try to visit here weekly. I hope others continue to support as well!

There's a small drink menu, but there is something for everyone here at Bitty & Beau's. Was it my favorite latte that I've ever had? No, but the space is beautiful and the spirit of the brand makes the experience special. They also offer monthly drink specials that are off menu and available for a limited time so be sure to ask about them. They offer breakfast sandwiches and some baked goods and assorted sweets in the case if you're looking for a small nibble while you're there. They have a significant merch section and offer a variety of t shirts, cups, mugs, bags, pins, stickers, hats, and other collectibles that help promote the brand and their message of inclusivity.

Came here for the grand opening in providence. Very friendly staff and owners. Ordered the pumpkin spice latte and a croissant sausage breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious, when they add the chicken and waffle I would love to try it the next time I am here. The sitting area and vibe is really comforting and good to do school work. Definitely will be back!!

I recently stopped by Bitty & Beau's because it's new in our neighborhood and looks so cozy inside. I was greeted with a friendly smile, and I ordered a blueberry muffin and dark roast coffee. I was handed an 8 of hearts card and told when my order was ready, I'd hear my card! Everyone behind the counter was efficient and most importantly, happy, which made me happy! My order was ready fast and my coffee was hot. The blueberry muffin was soft and warm and had a delicious, cake-like texture with crunchy sugar crystals on top. The decor was cozy yet uncluttered, natural wood with cream and black accents. There's a huge word map on the wall, when you can pin your hometown, such a nice touch! I'm excited to have a great coffee shop in my neighborhood, looking forward to returning soon.

Great experience, great food and drink. This place is a must stop. Their frozen hot chocolate is outstanding. Our kids loved the space and the food. The service was kind and had great attention to detail.

Super flaky and a lot of delicious flavor from the filling and garnishes. It was very busy when I stopped by midday. They were out of some items already (I missed out on trying the French onion croissant before they replaced it with another menu item). I did find a spot to sit outside but I can see it being even harder to find a seat during peak times. It's a bit off the beaten path yet it's known and popular for a reason. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more items and of course the coffee!

It was a Wednesday afternoon, and I was craving a good latte. I had seen this place on social media…read moreand added it to my list of cafes to visit. There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.

5 Stars for a great strawberry matcha latte and phenomenal cappuccino…read more This coffee and matcha shop has so much more to it than a typical coffee shop. It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! They also have some pastries and baked goods from Seven Stars Bakery, and we thoroughly enjoyed a small lemon cake. We'll likely be back in our last few days in town because we became quick fans!

Ceremony definitely overpromised and underdelivered on expectations. It would have been a complete…read moredisappointment if not for the visually appealing presentation of the drinks. Driven by heavy social media presence on Instagram, this shop proved to be a classic example of a cute concept that fails on execution. The shop features a modern, clean aesthetic but suffers from highly inefficient operations. The layout makes it unclear where the ordering line actually begins, and the printed menus do not match the menus displayed on the wall. This forced a rushed ordering process, leading me to order a standard Strawberry Matcha. While the drink's presentation was pretty, the flavor was only average and did not justify the steep, overpriced cost--especially for an establishment located in a prominent college area. Color was on point but flavor was very milky and slightly tart. I don't say this often, but it needed sugar. Service was interesting. Drinks are served filled to the brim without lids. You retrieve the lids yourself in a separate counter area. This design flaw was highlighted when a nearby couple spilled their entire order onto the floor simply while walking over to get a cap. Rather than stepping in immediately to help clean up the mess and offer new drinks, the staff stood and stared at this couple for longer than they should have before offering assistance. Also, I would've liked a teddy bear too but didn't see it on the menu so I didn't order it. Between the high prices, lackluster service, and operational confusion, the overall experience does not warrant a return visit. Go get a sugarcane drink around the corner instead!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.
