The atmosphere, the food and the courteous staff while playing Mahjong in one of the banquet rooms.

It was flavorful and a tasty treat for my taste buds. The dinner salad was so fresh I had to slap it. Service was great and I recommend this restaurant for good Italian food

Mind you, the restaurant was not packed, but they seated us in between two tables when there were at least 6 other open tables in the room. Server was quick, friendly. I ordered breadsticks, not realizing that they provide bread for the table (I made the assumption they didn't based on the menu having bread and breadsticks listed). The breadsticks were a very odd texture - seemed doughy but they were not undercooked, lots of butter & garlic. I had the stuffed shells for my entree. My salad consisted of lettuce and cut up tomatoes (which I hate), nothing more. Therefore I had lettuce with my French dressing. The entree came out quickly and looked great. However, the ricotta on the inside of the stuffed shells was super creamy and not very tasty. The sauce was ok, not sweet enough for my liking, but not bad either. The shells themselves were al dente, but seemed chewy. My husband had the shrimp cocktail, which he enjoyed. He ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti as his side. The chicken parm looked great, but seemed to be a frozen chicken patty that was deep fried and drenched in sauce/mozzarella. The spaghetti was pretty good. Overall, meh. Won't be back, but we had something to eat and supported local not a franchise so there's that.

Our service was excellent. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, chicken quesadilla with cheese dip and a beef burrito. Excellent food!! The food was about on par with what you would find at a traditional Mexican restaurant in this part of the country. I ended up ordering the Camarones al a Diabla, and they were pretty decent. The sauce was nicely flavored, though there was less of it than I expected. The balance of shrimp and other sides was good, and the portion wasn't over the top. Overall, a pretty good meal. In terms of the vibe, I would say it's very Mexican. The television in the bar was set to a Spanish language channel. I was able to communicate just fine, but there was a bit of a language barrier with the bar tender. Not a problem. I actually view that as a sign of authenticity. I'll also note that they seemed a little short-staffed on the night I showed up. Everyone was extremely busy, so service was a little slow but still attentive. Everyone there was trying their best to keep up. All told, I would recommend this place. Not an over the top dining experience, but it was very clearly a locally owned place with a good vibe and lots of character.
