Arrived late in the evening and with a large party - were met with quality food and great service. The staff was welcoming and very fast. We tried just about everything - Great appetizers, drinks, steak, salads, sandwiches, & desserts.

This place definitely gives off boy's club vibes and as a woman alone, it's a little off putting. The local beer is a nice touch - try the Freefolk! Food is typical sports bar grub, but since it's right on site of the resort is really handy!

Ehhhhh.... Kind of a mixed bag here leaning towards not good. The wings I ordered sum it up pretty well - they were good but came out lukewarm. Others in my party ordered flatbreads that were ok but also didnt come out hot. The service was subpar, waited for a while with an empty glass while my food got even colder. It wasn't especially busy so I would have expected our server to be more attentive. It wasnt the worst dining experience I've ever had, but it was definitely below average. 2.5

I'm generally guarded with my stars, but for a sports bar on a resort with no restaurants to speak of in 15 miles, my expectations were low here and they blew it out of the water with a great experience!! Everything was delicious! (see my pics for proof.) I got the 12 ounce ribeye with mac and cheese and a side Caesar. Salad was large, fresh (absolutely no wilted or brown lettuce) the right amount of very tasty anchovy Caesar dressing and lots of Parmesan cheese! The ribeye was outstanding. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Lovely grill marks and a nice char taste. Topped with some sort of parsley butter and the plate had the most delicious juice. Rarely is a steak served in its own juice and this was spectacular! Macaroni and cheese was a large portion, piping hot, creamy and tasty. One negative is the cheese flavor was mild, would've been better with a sharper cheese but it was so creamy that made up for the lack of sharpness! Hubby got the Carolina bbq sandwich. Tons of tasty juicy tender pulled pork. Nice soft bun. Very light traditional Carolina bbq sauce. (It had pickles on it which is a little odd but he took them off). Slaw was super fine chopped and fresh. Finished dinner off with the lava cake which was warm and delicious topped with 2 scoops of ice cream (we asked for an extra scoop). Good wine. Great beer. Chill atmosphere and the loveliest waitresses and hostess. So sweet and accommodating. I was here for a conference and was so delightfully surprised at the food and service here!

Been here for 30 mins and still no food--will update if we ever get it. After a 45 min wait we got our food. They gave us a free appetizer and dessert for the wait. Was the best salsa I've ever had. Not much spice but just enough for me. Got the blackened salmon sandwich and it was delicious. served so hot it burned my tongue. Husband got the fish and chips (fried haddock & fries). All the food was awesome. Just wish someone had come out sooner to tell us that it was going to be a while. We had been at the pool and were tired and starving. But we would have understood. We ordered the blondie and the bread pudding for dessert. Both were amazing! They more than made up for the long wait.

Great place to eat in Daniels! Great food and Great staff! The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are large!

I would say this was as solid as it comes for any restaurant. Pros: - The building. As a Savannah, GA native (more or less) I can appreciate a historic building. Absolutely love the vibe inside and out. - Their fries are top notch. Great Greek seasoning on these bad boys and very hot coming out. Some of the better fries I've had in my life. - Grilled Chicken Sandwich. There's a spot in Savannah, GA called "Clary's" that had a grilled chicken sandwich and they took it off their menu a few years back. One of my favorite chicken sandwiches; Dobra Zupas is pretty close to that one. A perfect "diner" style chicken sandwich. - Wait Staff. Top Notch. After having a rather bad wait staff for my last review, this one made me feel comfortable and not rushed nor in the way. - Fried Goat Cheese was amazing. I've never had anything like it. Cons: - Pizza was so-so. You really don't go to a Greek restaurant and order pizza, but it was alright. Definition of okay. I really enjoyed my stop through here. You can tell they put a lot of effort into this being a great restaurant and it comes through. The building and how unexpected it is to come across (you Google Map a restaurant and are kinda shocked when you come across it) is cool. Well, my unnecessary hours of researching restaurants for West Virginia was successful for Day One because Dobra Zupas was a fun find. Very glad I came and would definitely recommend it.

Beckley surprised us once again, this spot turned out to be such a delicious treasure that we kept coming back like well-trained food pilgrims. The food was fantastic. Truly. I grew up in Tucson, AZ and I have travelled to Mexico many times. When it comes to authentic Mexican food, most (but not all) restaurants that are not close to our Southern border cater to American tastes. Pro Tip #1: If you want authentic Mexican tacos, they should be using soft shell corn tortillas and be topped with cilantro and onions with lime wedges on the side to squeeze on top. Look for the terms "street tacos" or "authentic tacos" and make sure they are topped with cilantro and onions. Pro Tip #2: If you like hot salsa, most Mexican restaurants will have it, but you have to ask if they have any hot salsa in the back. I ordered the Tacos Al Pastor (which is pork with spices and pineapple). They come on soft shell corn tortillas and are topped with cilantro and onions and have lime wedges on the side. Yay! I also ordered a lime margarita on the rocks with salt. The tacos were very good! I would order them again! My waiter was friendly and called me "corazón," which was sweet. Unfortunately, I accidentally found myself in Beaver, WV after having to avoid the last toll on the WV Turnpike, so I likely won't be able to come back to this restaurant. However, if I ever find myself back in this small town again, I will absolutely come back to El Mariachi!

Mind you, the restaurant was not packed, but they seated us in between two tables when there were at least 6 other open tables in the room. Server was quick, friendly. I ordered breadsticks, not realizing that they provide bread for the table (I made the assumption they didn't based on the menu having bread and breadsticks listed). The breadsticks were a very odd texture - seemed doughy but they were not undercooked, lots of butter & garlic. I had the stuffed shells for my entree. My salad consisted of lettuce and cut up tomatoes (which I hate), nothing more. Therefore I had lettuce with my French dressing. The entree came out quickly and looked great. However, the ricotta on the inside of the stuffed shells was super creamy and not very tasty. The sauce was ok, not sweet enough for my liking, but not bad either. The shells themselves were al dente, but seemed chewy. My husband had the shrimp cocktail, which he enjoyed. He ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti as his side. The chicken parm looked great, but seemed to be a frozen chicken patty that was deep fried and drenched in sauce/mozzarella. The spaghetti was pretty good. Overall, meh. Won't be back, but we had something to eat and supported local not a franchise so there's that.

I used to travel and stop here often and it was amazing. The craft area of handcrafted merchandise has become not as sophisticated and high end workmanship. I noticed that change the last time I stopped through so that was disappointing. I used to often browse for gifts but that time nothing much to see. But on to my main thing -- the food. I'm actually heartbroken that now it's not in any way what it was. I learned that a few years back The Greenbrier Hotel stopped operating the dining room. And it shows -- they have remodeled and added tables. You no longer go through the cafeteria w the chance to see the grill and the food. And the food is pretty low to average score. The fried green tomatoes used to be pan cook w cornmeal and now battered and deep fried -- terrible the vegetable plate used to be amazing but barely edible. The cornbread used to be a large tender square delish but now a couple of tasteless muffins. My plate was served quickly and the food was barely warm. My friend's meal was very average, the salmon. The other was the soup and a side vegetable. Again average. I'm not sure why they lost The Greenbrier but it's not worth the cost. Still a nice place to walk around and stretch your legs but the food isn't worth the price and the crafts not at a high level. So a very disappointing meal. So you've been forewarned.
