A small unassuming building and decor but AMAZING food! Lots of Italian fare but I had a hankering for Mediterranean so I got the kebab sampler. First on the table was fresh pita, hot and puffy right out of the oven. Second was a side salad with romaine, olives and tomatoes- no iceberg lettuce here ( I dislike iceberg lol ). Finally was the sampler. House made hummus and tzatziki sauce, grilled veggies, more pita, and rice. Beef, chicken, and kofta kebabs were all flavorful and TENDER. Usually kebabs are tough and overcooked. Not here, this is the best kebabs I've ever had. For dessert: Tiramisu! Light and delicious with balance of espresso and chocolate. We stopped here to dine on our travels because the review and photos were outstanding. I report that the restaurant did not disappoint. Everything was delicious & fresh - bread, salads, and entrees. My husband had the fatta shawarma at the recommendation of the friendly waitress. He was very satisfied with the dish. The pizza was incredible. I had the salmon which was slightly dry, but I was so hungry I ate it all. They also let me substitute sides which is sometimes difficult to find when dining out. So we are traveling through and read some good reviews. So we thought...if it's good then great, if not then more food options down the road. This place will be on our come back list as we travel through often. We came in, it's a little dark and the outside sign is slightly aged, but don't let that scare you off...it's worth the stop. Sat down with a couple fresh bread triangles puffs with dipping sauces. I ordered their 3 for $25 which included 2 side salads and 2 10" pizzas. The side salads came out quick, rather fresh with dressing on the side. My wife orders a kebab which was confused in the order so it was offered to quickly remake. My wife opted to have it removed as she tasted my pizzas and decided my food was what she really wanted and it was hot and ready on the table. So while the sign is old and it's dark inside, it's worth the couple minutes drive off the highway to have an incredible meal with some really good people! Stop in, order some food, enjoy the bread on the table and then go back out to work, highway, or home with a filled stomach and a smile from the great experience. read more

Neh! I thought this place was going to serve some authentic Italian food, but it was extremely subpar! My wife wanted lasagna and ended up getting the Tour of Sicily(lasagna, fettuccine alfredo and chicken parmesan). Now, what they didn't make up for in quality, they did in quantity... it was so much food, we could have easily shared it. They did, however, forget the salad that was supposed to come with the meal. Although I didn't get Italian myself, I did try it. It wasn't good. She was not happy at all, but since we had it delivered, she ate it anyway, except for the fettuccine, which she ate the next day... begrudgingly. The sauces seemed like they were from the jar, especially the Alfredo... and I normally love Alfredo! A food chain, I won't mention here, makes wayyyy better Alfredo! All of the sauces were runny and not very tasty. It just wasn't there. I also learned a valuable lesson... never get wings from an Italian restaurant! Worst wings I ever had! It was due to the sauce... bland! I also would have liked to try more than one sauce but they wanted to upcharge just to split the 10 piece order into 2 sauces. Smh! Sorry, but this delivery order convinced me to never get delivery from there again or attempt to go to the restaurant. read more

Very attentive service. Very friendly. Food is good. Not amazing but solid. Inside is better than what the strip center outside would lead you to believe. The name is a bit misleading. They have Italian food but also Middle East food - I had chicken shawarma. So I guess it would be more accurate to call in Mediterranean food. read more

I was passing through the city and as it's a small city it was the only restaurant still open. We ordered and the food was at the hotel in 20 minutes. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was ok but not super delicious, as i was very hungry i ate it all, my wife had a greek salad that was greasy. Probably it's much better in the restaurant. Comme je passais dans la ville, et que c'est une petite ville, c'était le seul restaurant encore ouvert. Nous avons commandés et c'est arrivé 20 min. plus tard ce qui est bon. J'ai mangé un sandwich au poulet grillé qui était assez ordinaire, mais vu que j'était affamé après 7 hrs de route je l'ai englouti goulument ! A must stop of traveling through. There are big alot of good options when traveling through the WV mountains. This little gem is about 5 minutes off the highway and well worth it. We didn't try the Italian on the menu but absolutely love the Mediterranean options. The chicken shawarma plate was fantastic and reminded of one of my favorite restaurants back in Cincinnati. The hummus and green salad were also delicious. There are not many healthier fresh options around, so highly recommend if this sounds like the type of food you like. read more

First time at this restaurant. Passing through and came on a Monday evening, and was the only patron. Was greeted right away and seated. Drink order was given and got drinks right away along with some complimentary bread with a butter sauce and marinara sauce. The restaurant is in the process of renovations, but was clean and modern and comfortable. Salad was good with a tasty ranch dressing. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was delicious! The chicken was moist and flavorful and the sauce was plentiful and very tasty. However the broccoli was a bit raw and could have been steamed more. Overall it was delicious. We arrived just after opening and were seated right away. We ordered the douby douby bread to start and I seriously could have left happy with just that to eat - so delicious! The food is okay. It's definitely not authentic Sicilian cuisine, more Americanized and not at all like places you find in NYC, but it's fine. I was annoyed that I payed three dollars for a side of vegetables that was really about three bites. I was hoping for some zucchini and squash, but it was literally just onions, tomatoes, and green peppers. They also don't have deep dish, which is a truly a travesty. I'll probably just go to Calacinos from now on. Their guy makes the most divine Chicago style deep dish. The staff was really nice though and they seemed the make the food pretty fast. read more

Wow!! This was absolutely the best Italian sub I have ever eaten! The bread was delicious and all ingredients tasted so fresh!! We were traveling home from Raleigh and looking for a good place to stop for lunch not far off of interstate with good reviews!! Came across Little Sicily and so glad we chose it!!!
