Pros - Speed of service and food prep was great. From time we ordered until they had food on our table, was about 10 minutes (for 4 of us). - Clean inside and a comfy vibe for a fast casual restaurant. - Quantity of food was great. Tons of food and good quality for the money. MUCH better than Long John! -Staff was friendly and efficient Cons The biggest con for us was the fish seemed to have an odd after taste, like the oil wasn't the best. I had seen the restaurant and thought it would be like a Long John's. I was hungry and read the reviews all were good but I was hesitant because I didn't think I'd get full. I couldn't eat all that they brought me. The chicken strips were huge and the French fries were great. The fish was definitely not like the other restaurants. Their tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were homemade and very good. There were American Flags on every table and everyone that worked there was very helpful in answering my questions. I've been in Beckly for a week and have eaten out twice a day. This is by far the best meal I've had. If you like seafood this is your place. read more

Grilled catfish was tough and no seasoning added, green beans were straight out of a can not seasoned, slaw was pretty good, fried green tomatoes, what a joke! Just out of a frozen bag! Just like fast food read more

We ordered a variety of items and they were all cooked to perfection. Shrimp, chicken strips, and fish were all great. I also appreciate that nothing was overly battered...you knew what you were eating and the flavor of the meat was able to shine. Lol There was plenty of seating and the workers seemed like they were very attentive to the cleanliness of the restaurant, so that is always reassuring. We were greeted as we walked in and given menus right away. The staff was friendly and our food was very good and arrived quickly. We both had fish, shrimp and crab cakes. Everything was fresh and hot. The sides were good also. I had Cole slaw and fries. The portions were generous. The restaurant is clean and cheery. Food was absolutely delicious! There isn't any seafood restaurants anywhere close by besides fast food like Long John Silvers, so when I heard a seafood place opened up, I had to check it out. I got the Fried Oyster Po Boy sandwich and it was phenomenal! Worth every Penny and a big sandwich that filled me up. Also came with French fries but I got full on the sandwich, so I didn't try the fries. The fries did look delicious though. I highly recommend this place. read more

Highly recommend this place! The food is always ready quickly, whether you call in take out or eat in. Either way it's usually about a 5-10 minute wait. As for the food itself, it's so good! Some of my favorite menu items include- the hush puppies, fries, coleslaw, oysters, and shrimp. You really can't go wrong with any of their options though. I always get one of the combo meals and it's good every time, no matter what I go with. Everything is pretty reasonably priced, especially considering the food is so fresh. On top of the food being great, the employees are helpful and kind. They'll even go as far as to leave their stations to help customers who are visiting for the first time. The inside of the restaurant is clean (including the restrooms) and the decor is funny, as there's Finding Nemo borders on the walls. read more

First time being here I came in during their Sunday rush, the inside of the place reminds me of a quick stop eatery but that isn't a bad thing. I ordered the 2 fish, 2 chicken, and 2 shrimp platter with Mac and cheese. Everything came out piping hot and brought directly into the table. There isn't any presentation on the food, it's just thrown into a to go box, which is to be expected for an eatery style restaurant. The fish was great, a little under seasoned for a fried fish but perfectly cooked and juicy, the shrimp is as big as my middle finger deep fried and juicy, no complaints on the shrimp it is fine as it is. The chicken is a very good portion, and very juicy deep fried. By far the best on the plate. The sides is where my review is gonna take this from a 5 to a 4, the corn I ordered is seasoned nicely, but very obviously a canned corn. The seasoning on the corn redeems the flavor and has a nice spicy taste that meshes well with the sweet corn taste. The mac and cheese is very obviously boil in a bag Mac it is good, but rather disappointing considering it's an extra charge for the Mac and cheese. read more

Hi, I tried Fish Frenzy once and won't be going back. I wanted to like it but unfortunately it didn't make the cut. Nothing special about this place. Food wasn't terrible but not that great and nothing stood out about it. I figured they would at least have good home made hush puppy's but that wasn't the case. Captain Dees is better all around. If I want fish I will just go there. I definitely won't go to Long John Silvers either because they are the worst ever. I have no idea how they are even in business. The decor at fish frenzy wasn't very good either. It just felt like being in an old rundown cafeteria. I have no idea why people would even go here. read more
