Mash potatoes with butter in the crock.
    Debe K.

Had the rolls (2) and butter... fresh rolls. Second request for more rolls (2) was $3.00. Hubby ordered the French Dip with crispy French fries. Fries were soggy. Horseradish was mild. Nothing spectacular about the sandwich (according to hubby). I ordered the Petite Filet - medium which was cooked perfectly. I gave 2 bites to hubby. We both thought the steak was chewy. Mash potatoes come in a nice size crock and were good. (I'd prefer some garlic with them but that's my choice.). Green beans were delicious but I found a 3" stem and some green beans with stems on them. Cooked nicely and a large quantity. Taylor's was a great server.

I was so excited to try the new place in Johnstown that use to be Ghost rider public house, now Black Diamond Prime! Inside the restaurant still has the beautiful crystal chandeliers . I made a reservation and they tried to seat me outside. They said that it was a patio reservation anyhow regardless we decided to sit at the bar and have dinner. I hate to compare , but unfortunately, I left very disappointed! We ordered a 16 ounce ribeye $60 on the menu decided it would probably be too big for one of us so we shared we ordered the wedge salad shared that and the brussels sprouts with honey and our dinner came with either green beans, baked potato, or mashed! We were pretty anxious to get our meal. We had a glass of red wine at the bar. The red one was very nice. It was just their local black diamond cab however when we got our meal, the ribeye steak I would have been embarrassed to serve it! You might find at the grocery store actually it wouldn't even compare to Kroger's meat or giant eagle steak was horrible. We couldn't even eat it the mashed potatoes were a bowl of plain whipped potatoes, no butter, no salt no pepper. The only thing that we enjoyed that we were able to eat was the brussels sprouts they were pretty tasty, but they were not warm we left and will not be back.

I'm thrilled to have a top-tier steakhouse right here in Johnstown. The atmosphere is incredibly unique, with a decor style that sets it apart from everywhere else. The service was impeccable--very attentive and professional. While the salmon was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, even the house salad was a standout thanks to the incredible dressing. I'll definitely be back soon!"

The food was great, but even better was the impeccable service. Our server, Frank, went above and beyond and made us feel like we were the only couple there (in a busy restaurant week Saturday)! The amount of special care he took during our time there to explain the different dishes and wish us for our anniversary, I cannot relate any other service being this level. Now, for the food: 1st course: shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque I preferred the shrimp cocktail because the bisque was a bit on the sweeter side for me with the corn. Frank even provided some horseradish on the side for the shrimp, which were huge. 2nd course: steak on a bowl and salmon Both proteins cooked to perfection (steak medium rare and salmon medium) and both were based on top of perfectly paired sauces. It was a great meal without feeling overstuffed. 3rd course: creme brulee and frozen mud pie Both were good, but the frozen mud pie was colossal. We did not even finish 1/4 of it at the restaurant. Took it to go and it was just as great out of the freezer the next day. It could serve 4 people easily. Bonus: Frank made sure to make our night out even more special by providing a whole extra dessert on the house in honor of our anniversary. My son likes chocolate cake, so we got that to go. This was very unexpected as we were there for restaurant week, which already had dessert included. Even with how busy it was due to restaurant week, the pacing of the meal was perfect, our waters were full, and we were checked on multiple times. We will definitely be back here and definitely seek out Frank for his exceptional service!

Like... you are built next to a Taco Bell in a strip mall plaza, chill out. Drinks were good (the brazilian limonade was bitter AF but maybe its supposed to be), waitstaff was great and attentive. The salad bar is okay. Cold cuts, fruits, cheeses, salads, pickles, veg - all nice. Kept clean and well stocked. Would have liked plantains and cheese bread offered in the hot bar section as those are good items and you only get tiny sharing portions at your table. The fire-roasted meats...? Seems the done-ness scale is either cremated or still mooing bloody raw. The gauchos comes all at once then crickets for long spells at a time. Pieces can be gristle or straight up just fat. If you're going to serve unmariniated meat, one word. SALT. It all needed backed up with much more salt. This place has its faults, which wouldn't be half as offensive if it was half the price. I've been to several brazilian places (including self-serve takeout) and this churrascaria is the worst. P.S. The grilled pineapple was bad, too.

They have a menu of items you can try in order off of, but my sister and I got the buffet and we're sure glad that we did. They had some salad bar items and then hot bar items with different items that rotate daily. In addition, they had a gentleman carving beautifully cooked steak, lamb, and sausage at your request. Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. Multiple people stopped by to check on us and welcome us. All the food was delicious and we picked out a few desserts to take home from the bakery (not included in the buffet price). There's also a little Brazilian market attached to the restaurant that is worth checking out as well. The restaurant itself had a really nice vibe with exposed brick walls. One of the women working told us that happy hour is from 12 to 8 but I will have to come back and try one of their cocktails at some other point. I will definitely be back.

The label clearly said "Use By Thu 7/23," meaning the product was past its expiration date. This is a serious quality control and food safety issue. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've had problems with this restaurant. The service is often very slow, and more than once I have waited for over an hour, only to be told that the item I ordered was unavailable and that I had to choose something else instead. My advice to anyone buying ready-to-eat food here is: always check the expiration date before eating, because it seems that the staff is not consistently checking it themselves.

At $39 per person for their endless brunch experience, it's a solid value if you're looking to sample a variety of dishes. That said, I don't see myself returning for brunch. I would come back to give their dinner menu a try because the atmosphere and service alone make it worth another visit. We were seated behind a barrier, and after dropping off our entrees, our server disappeared. My husband realized that he hadn't been served any condiments with his fish & chips -- no tartar sauce, lemon, vinegar or ketchup, nor slaw. He waited a few minutes to dig in, figuring someone would pop around the corner and we'd catch their eye, or our own server would return to check on us. Nope. Meanwhile, hubby had tasted a few fries, which were barely warm and a bit flabby. He started to eat his fish, sans tartar, and said it was ok, but not super hot. Fish and chips out to come out of the fryer so fresh and hot that you need to wait a few minutes to eat it so you don't burn your mouth -- but not here. This food had been sitting around a while. A few other servers had checked on tables nearish to ours, but didn't give us so much as a glance, and didn't hear our loud "Excuse me!"s. We weren't thrilled at the prospect of having to get up and go to the bar or hostess station to get help. But because both our meals had become unenjoyable thanks to waiting over ten minutes for someone to happen by, I decided I'd go seek assistance. But just then, our server happened by. We flagged her down and asked for all the things that were missing. She glanced at my husband's still pretty full plate and her eyes popped a bit, clearly realizing that the sitch was not pleasing to us. She brought the missing condiments, but damage done at that point. It had been a little exhausting waiting around and keeping our eyes peeled for a passing server. The restaurant should make it more of a point to send servers through that lower seating area on the regular. It was a pretty mediocre dinner.

Based on several other reviews, I was a bit worried at first about what was to be expected with speed and quality of service. Our server, a young lady, was excellent, and helpful with making our choices. Her manager or chef seemed like a man possessed running around the floor to assist his staff at the time and did stop by once to check in with us. As far as menu changes or decor from a recent refresh, I have no basis of comparison so couldn't care less about that. We were starving so we opted for recommendations from our server spanning all over the menu. We had everything from cheese curds and bang bang shrimp to the Reuben and patty melt, to a filet mignon with loaded baked potato as a side. In retrospect, kicking ourselves now since nobody in our party got any seafood outside of the shrimp appetizer. Doubtful we will be back east of Columbus for a while so I have no idea when we'd realistically get to try the Salmon BLT or seafood pasta. Unfortunately nobody snagged photos of the food since we were famished and it wasn't a priority. I don't eat sweets, but was told the Key Lime Pie and Banana Fosters were well worth saving room for. If you're like me, I'd opt for the OG Dockside Old Fashioned instead.

I met the kitchen manager, and he told me about the class that he went to. He told me about how they prepare their sauce their oven everything about it and it was wonderful. The crust was tasty. The sauce was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. It wasn't just a red sauce out of a jar, it had pieces of the tomato in it and was very authentic tasting. The ingredients were fresh. I could smell the mushrooms from across the way, not a mushroom guy myself, but if you're into that, this will definitely be the place. My wife had the meatball appetizer because she really didn't want the bread, and she, being from Greece, focuses on how ingredients taste. They need to be fresh. They need to be more than just a filler to make up for something else. She wants to come back and just have this again. Great texture, the meatballs had flavor and work just ground beef. I'll put together like other places, this was a flavorful experience. She even convinced me to try a meatball sub next time we come. Which might be hard for me, because I like the pizza so much. There's plenty of parking in the back, they have specials and a happy hour as well. A couple of different beers on tap and a nice overflow area that's covered outside for larger crowds.
