Came to SC all the way from Las Vegas to visit my grandmother. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who gave us a whole shpeal about the menu. You could tell she was passionate and took pride in her business. And it SHOWS because wow the coffee was so good we came back a second time on our trip which is rare for us bc we usually like to try a new coffee place everyday when on vacation! My only constructive feedback would be, the two drinks we ordered had cold foam when the owner made it. But when we came back the next day and a staff member made it, she said the cold foam isn't included and that it's extra. We told her the owner made it for us the day prior and didn't say that. She said the owner just decided it and it sucks bc it creates confusion for ppl. But ended up giving us the cold foam at no extra charge. Not a big deal bc we would've got the drinks either way. But the menu pictures the lattes we got WITH cold foam so it was a bit confusing to be given something one day and then told it's not part of it the next. We WILL be back next time we're in town read more

Great spot to hangout and work! They had tons of different seating options and plenty of tables. There was also seating at the bar. If you are coming here to work - they do play music but it's not too loud. I liked how open and spacious it is inside. I tried their iced white grapefruit tea, it was good. read more

Adorable coffee and wine spot. Super nice owner. They can do events here. Would be a great spot!

We highly recommend this coffee + wine bar to anyone living in or visiting Charleston! My husband and I are visiting Charleston and brought our dog, Charlie with us. The second we walked in the door the owners were so kind and welcoming to Charlie, they gave him homemade treats, a water bowl, and lots of love and pets. They allow well-behaved dogs off leash INSIDE the shop which was such a blessing for Charlie after walking around outside all morning. He loved walking around and taking a nap inside while we enjoyed coffee with a friend. The owners were so thoughtful and kept checking in on Charlie. If anyone has a dog you need to take them here, it has become our favorite coffee shop in Charleston! They serve coffee, wine, and beer which were all delicious! It's a great spot to hangout with your dog inside on a hot or cold day. We cannot say enough good things about this place!! Southern hospitality at its finest! read more

Was not impressed with their market price drip coffee, it tastes like the beans from Costco (which are fine for the price you pay at Costco) and was not a fan of their variety of pastries (looks like ones from a grocery store). I would not come here again. read more

This was my first time popping into this shop and I will definitely be a regular here! As a student, I'm always looking for a good place to study. Blūm has a ton of tables and outlets for people to spread out and hang, one of the owners was behind the bar and was nice enough to take me through the drink/food menu and even informed me of some of the events they have in the space! I'm excited to have found a new third space to add to my list. Also, my latte and muffin were absolutely phenomenal ! read more

Came to Charleston for the weekend and found this coffee shop walking distance from my hotel. We were immediately greeted by Beverley who has unmatched energy. She was funny, engaging and beyond helpful. She offered a level of customer service that would immediately make me a regular if I lived here. We ordered the Blueberry Cobbler Latte and MoCoconut Latte. Both were really good. The blueberry cobbler latte taste exactly like a blueberry muffin. On our visit we tried out the Passionfruit Matcha. It was refreshing, light and not too sweet. Shout out to Beverley for these amazing drinks. There's plenty of space with beautiful plants everywhere you look. The greenery is a nice touch. If you love good coffee, great service and cool plants, this is the spot for you. It was so good I went back a few hours later for the same drink. Edit* went back the next day too read more

Not bad at all. However, I did walk in to have a coffee and a savory snack which they didn't offer so I opted for tea. After I sat down I noticed three different random people walking by stop in to ask for coffee or espresso. Lots of foot traffic with the neighboring restaurants and the cafe could def benefit from offering coffee after 5pm. read more

Now that I have been a couple of times, I will finally write a review haha They don't take names or provide numbers for your coffee order, which has not been an issue for me, as it wasn't crazy crowded when I've stopped in for late afternoon caffeine pick-me-ups! They don't have a huge list of flavors, but my most recent order was an iced salted caramel latte. I'm a fan. The previous time I was provided a large glass, as it was to enjoy while there, but my most recent visit, I was given a regular plastic, to-go cup. I preferred the glass, but the coffee was still tasty either way. They don't seem to have a ton of food options, but I did buy a brownie once and it was delicious! I just wouldn't plan for a meal here. The other half of the space is the wine/beer bar. I tried a cider during one visit, but I am definitely a coffee over alcohol person, so it's probably going to remain the reason for my visits. They have lots of tables/chairs, some couches, and a large bar, which I always see a ton of people (seem to be students) there working. They have games/cards to play, if interested, as well. Overall, it's a cute spot with a nice little variety of drink options and they have parking, which is really nice if you're able to find an open spot. read more

I can't begin to describe what an exceptional experience we had at Blum today! I was looking for a special space to host my daughter's graduation party. I thought that planning such a special event from10 hours away would be difficult but Maureen and Leeanne made it incredibly easy and stress free both prior to and on the day of the event. The space is gorgeous and has the perfect layout and flow. Their drinks and food are delicious but the customer service and genuine joy they exude make this shop a step above all of the rest. I enthusiastically recommend Blum for a great cup of coffee and/or breakfast but also as a venue for a party or meeting. read more

Such a great experience at Blum! The service was fantastic, and you could really tell how much they care about their customers. The owner personally made our coffees and even took the time to thank me for choosing her location which was such a thoughtful touch. This is one of my favorite coffee shops, located further down on Meeting Street. Their space is the biggest in downtown that I've seen, and they offer free parking and Wi‑Fi. If the lot fills up, there's paid parking right across the street on the grassy area. I ordered their matcha latte with oat milk, and it was delicious, more matcha than I usually get at other cafes, which I'm not complaining about. My friends ordered chai, and they said it was the best chai they've ever had. I'll have to come back later in the day for their wine bar. Service was great, and the baristas remembered me since I've been there many times. The space is generally quiet, with people wearing headphones and working on their laptops. read more

Always such a great spot to come and do some work or relax!! I like to sometimes go to coffee shops to do some work and Blum is one of my top spots to do so. I haven't had an issue with parking thankfully as they do have a small lot. The workers have always been kind and the atmosphere is great. Not dead silent but not hectic. The drinks have always been a hit for me. I ordered an iced Dubai pistachio and chocolate latte - amazing and refreshing. Not a super big coffee girl but this did hit the spot. I may ask for more pistachio flavoring next time I order but still tasty! read more

4 stars because parking spaces designated to Blum are limited. I asked if it was ok that I parked in an unmarked spot and the barista said "They don't typically tow until after closing". So, let's hope for the best?! Love that you can bring your own cup and receive a discount and there is ample space to work for a while. The Chai latte was good. On the sweeter side. The wine cooler by the bathroom is noisy, so I'd sit on the other side if you want to avoid the noise of it kicking on and off while you are there. read more

My mocha latte with an extra shot was perfection. Phoebe, the barista, went out of her way to talk about the space and their pastries with me (the blueberry muffin was the perfect rec), while also graciously attending to the residents coming in for their morning cup before heading out for the day. Amazing service! got the pink tide with oat milk and it was sooo good:) absolutely love the environment, it's so adorable inside:)

The service is great, I've been twice now and loved both baristas. My issue is that the wifi never seems to be working properly--this could be a me issue, but it's happened twice, so I'm not sure. I had a pistachio latte, and, to be blunt, it is not the best in the city, especially for the price (about a dollar more than my fave in the city). The atmosphere is great, if the wifi issue wasn't a problem, I would work here on weekends regularly, despite the slight price increase in coffee. read more
