Lodi is the place for those who love a sweet coffee. The flavors are endless and fun, however every time I've come my drinks have been insanely sweet. Even when asked for half sweet. The fruit pebble cold brew is my favorite, but again very sweet.

I almost forgot about my birthday coffee! Eggnog espresso, iced latte?

I have been going to Lodi coffee since the North Charleston location opened. Our Mt. Pleasant location can be difficult to get in and out of, but it is so worth the fight of the traffic! Everybody here is so friendly. The food is great the coffee even greater everything on their menu is fantastic! My favorite is the massive turkey spinach croissant. For my free birthday coffee I decided to go with the eggnog espresso latte on ice. It is delicious and it's a flavor. I wish I could have all the time! To Lodi coffee for keeping good customers that smile and have a great Customer Service! PS, tips either go into the grinch or the home alone bucket. Who is your favorite? Mine is The Grinch!

Always very accommodating, friendly, and Gir from Invader Zim greeting me is awesome :) The cold beverages are amazing! The atmosphere is cool too!

I was really happy with the sugar free hazelnut latte I got at Lodi. The flavor was amazing despite being sugar free. The muffin was also served warm and was yummy. The workers are so friendly and offer great suggestions as there are so many things to choose from on the menu.

While doing some Christmas shopping I stop by Lodi for their delicious Carmel Latte and breakfast Croissants sandwich. The food was delicious and the customers service is top tier.

Yelp was doing an awesome promotion with Lodi so of course I had to check it out!!! Glad we did I took my oldest daughter for a coffee and snack! She tried their breakfast burrito and truly enjoyed it. Coffee was yummy! I tad sugary for me but she definitely enjoyed hers. The staff was very sweet.. and the drive thru process was easy! Efficient Recommend for all non coffee lovers and coffee lovers to try it out!!!

Warm chocolate croissant which can only be described as colossal. Seriously it could feed 2 people.

Any time I can boast about a coffee shop that could kerfuffle Starbucks, I do. Why? Because coffee is a personal little luxury that SHOULD be affordable to everybody. Don't get me wrong, I love my daily Grande blonde roast, but my experience at Lodi was my usual coffee experience but ON STEROIDS. I read through previous reviews regarding iffy service, but I was the only car in the drive-thru, so I experienced only excellent customer service. I was asked before tendering payment if I wanted to enroll in their loyalty program, to which I answered 'Yes.' That means the barista intended to make my first purchase count. I am grateful for this. For $9.53, tax included, I received Lodi's medium-sized cup of piping hot regular drip coffee and one of the BIGGEST chocolate croissants I have ever seen, let alone eaten. If I'm correct, the Lodi medium-sized cup is the same size as the Grande cup at Starbucks. The pastry on the other hand was the size of a catcher's mitt. It trumps anything Starbucks offers both in terms of size and taste. My same order at Starbucks generally totals $7.66, tax included. For the difference of $1.87, I enjoyed an excellent cuppa and a ginormous pastry. More bang for the buck for sure. Would I go back? Yes. In a heartbeat. Next time, I'd like to try their turkey and Swiss croissant, but I will be prepared to share it because I suspect it will be similar to the chocolate croissant in size :-) Do I recommend it? 100%!

A second location for this Charleston institution, this one is a bit closer to downtown and the beaches. It is a pure drive-through, and it wasn't the fastest line ever, despite the fact that I arrived in the middle of the afternoon during a thunderstorm. And yes, the price is high (though this is a no-tip place). But when I got my mint flavored sweet cream tea, I remembered why I keep coming back to Lodi. Whatever distinctive seasonal flavored beverage you order, you are going to get the strongest, purest version of that flavor you could hope to expect. The mint, the cream, the tea, all wonderful flavors. And the sweet cream tea was a little less than their matcha beverages are. I think they could speed up the service and do a little better on their rewards program to make it easier to access, but the quality of the beverages is unimpeachable.

Loved my honey lavender latte! Came out nice and hot, and not too sweet. Delicious! You could really taste the flavors. There were a ton of cars at the drive thru, but this made me want to try it more since it was so popular. They have a QR code for the menu so you can browse before you order. Will definitely try this again when I'm back in the area!!

I love LoDi in N. Chas. I also love this location! The sweet creams are the most amazing flavors! Luckily, this location is very close to Shem. It is great to get coffee and enjoy the area and walk around Shem Park. It is amazing!

I normally hit the North Charleston location, but recently had a chance to swing by the Mt P one. I love that the drink and food options are the same across locations so you know what to expect. I was out running errands all day and it was a little chilly out so I strayed from my go to iced drinks in favor of a hot mocha. It was so delicious and the service was great as usual.

We each ordered a panini. I went with the vegetarian option and my husband had the smoked salmon. Both were very good--fresh ingredients and tasty flavors--and came with a small side salad. Nothing extravagant, but solid and satisfying. Afterward, we lingered with coffee and pastries. The chocolate-filled pastry and the pecan almond cinnamon roll were both excellent, and the coffees were tasty (though my café au lait was a bit on the smaller side). The standout was the service. The young lady working the counter was genuinely friendly, helpful, and patient as we asked questions and took our time deciding. It made the whole visit feel welcoming. Overall, although the price was a bit high for lunch and dessert, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back for another lunch or just to grab pastries and coffee. A nice local French bakery vibe without being fussy. Recommended.

Despite the big crowd, they were able to get our Coffee and Food out quickly. As we waited, we enjoyed the soft sound of music that was dialed to the perfect volume level creating a relaxing environment to get work done and enjoy our breakfast. My Latte came out first, unlike many coffee shops, the balance between milk and espresso was flawless. To preface this reaction, I do enjoy tasting the robust flavors of the beans in a latte, and they nailed it at Owlbear. The Frothy Effervescent milk foam was immaculate; the baristas here are consumate professionals.... Now, on to the breakfast burrito. I asked the sales associate for her recommendation between the lox bagel and the breakfast burrito; she stated that the Burrito was a very popular item, so I gave that a go. I was blown away. What stood out to me was the slight hint of lime in the āhuacamōlli (hear me out) made this burrito unique and special. The spice level was not overbearing and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. To wrap things up, I highly recommend Owlbear cafe, and will be visiting again when I voyage to Charleston later this summer; one thing to keep in mind with Owlbear are the portion sizes, I wouldn't call myself a "big eater"; However I was left wanting more food as the portions are very small, almost warranting a removal of star #5

Ordered an iced vanilla latte, it was pretty tasty. Loaded avocado bowl was decent. Avocado was fresh and ripe. Egg made the way I ordered. The menu says it comes with kale, I received lightly sautéed spinach. Potatoes were seasoned and a bit undercooked, but I enjoyed them. I added prosciutto (+$4!!) and it was way too salty to finish. They fry it a little which explains the saltiness. I expected the charcuterie board type. Sourdough crostini was way too toasted, I was only able to buy into the middle part. ~$30 on a meal that was just really not worth it.
