And then we got a ham and cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant, both delicious. I'd highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant, which could easily be split between two people!!! Coffee was fantastic! I was a little surprised to learn they don't carry decaf. I'm one of those people who only drinks decaf--I'm already wound up enough without the caffeine, and I genuinely just enjoy the taste of coffee. Because they didn't have decaf, I went ahead and ordered a regular coffee, and I have to say, it was very good. We weren't quite sure what we wanted, and the girl helping us was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. She really took her time with us, which I appreciated. I asked for a s'mores-inspired drink since that's my favorite flavor profile, and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered a maple bourbon latte with almond milk, and he loved his as well. We didn't stay this visit, but we did ask about seating and confirmed that they are pet-friendly on their patio. It's a smaller patio, but I always love when a place offers a space to hang out that's also welcoming to pets. Stopped in at Bald Monkey Beanery since I was in the area, and got a 20 oz mocha. After the last few weeks of $7+ downtown drinks, the price was refreshing. The selection here is pretty massive too. Tasty drink, could taste the mocha and it was smooth and just a little creamy without being too sweet, and the folks behind the counter asked if I wanted whipped cream, which I appreciated (I never want it). They were unfortunately out of baked goods, I would have liked to try an almond croissant. It's a little small on the inside, just a few tables, and a few seats outside too I think? The lady in the drive-through was very friendly and said that they were training so it was gonna take a little longer than expected. I'll be back to give it another try. I'm not sure what happened but I asked if they have Frozen blended coffee drinks. The service was kind of meh so I didn't get much feedback on what they were. I asked if I just pick a flavor or how it works and they said yes. So I picked salted toffee. I'm pretty sure I was given blended ice, milk and syrup by the taste and color. The syrup flavor was good, but not at all what I went out there for. I kept sipping, wondering if I'm going crazy but I'm pretty sure there wasn't coffee. I like the indie vibe of a small locally owned cafe. This is definitely that. The coffee is good, the food is good (not always a large variety depending on the time of day, but what there is has always been good. The service is reasonably good. I was a little confused at the drive thru because you look at the menu first and then drive up to the window to order and pay. I thought there was a speaker to order through while you are looking at the menu. I will say, I'm not a huge fan of the names of the menu items. I went in this morning, for the first time. I bought 3 16 oz vanilla lattes and was charged $32 dollars.. the cashier didn't tell me the total I had to find it in my account.. I didn't think $32 dollars would be charged. I reached out and they said they have local fees plus a processing fee. This place is an excellent coffee shop and I try to stop here at least a couple morning a week before work. The owner is so welcoming and he makes you feel at home. The coffee is absolutely delicious and an added bonus is how much holiday spirit they have. Halloween and Christmas decorations in the drive-thru are always a spectacle and really adds to the immersive experience. Awesome coffee shop in Goose Creek! I drive through this area every morning and I finally stopped in and I'm so glad I did. I was welcomed by the owner with a smiling face and he recommended two things; the Salted Carmel Macchiato and the turkey and cheese croissant. This is a charming, local coffee shop with a great vibe. The entire staff is a reflection of the wonderful owner. The shop is small, but it doesn't need much. It is a bit dark inside. The couch inside was a bit gross, but it had some other seating around for waiting. The coffee was very good but a bit sweet- I asked for cream and sugar, but they didn't ask how much and I watched three large spoonfuls go on. Way too much for me! They use beans from local coffee roasters, which is nice to support other local places. The pastry case had what looked like Costco items in it. I did order a cheese danish that was very large and tasted just okay. $7 for a danish the size of my kids head, a small coffee and cup of milk. The outside patio area is very lovely with all of the plants but is SO dirty. The furniture was filthy and the whole area smelled like cigarettes. There were containers of used cigarettes all over. I was afraid to stay out there with my daughter for fear she might try to play with the buckets of ashes. They have a drive thru, so I may use that and try it again. read more

They serve Saffron's totally delicious pastries fresh delivered daily! Their beans are locally roasted (of course they aren't locally grown because we just don't have that climate here). There is always something interesting to chat about inside or today the Blue Planet doc series is playing. I really do love feeling like I'm among family. They are completely worth coming to Goose Creek for a cuppa. We saw that they just got their fall menu in, so I had to try their Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. It was amazing, I highly recommend it! The prices were very reasonable for a local coffee shop, so I appreciated that. There wasn't a ton of room to sit inside, but they do have two picnic tables outside along with some comfy outdoor patio chairs to sit at. Since it was nice out, that's what we did! They get their coffee from local roasters, and have a really fun/young vibe. It's a super small space, but has a nice deck to drink on and great service. Was looking for a coffee shop on the way to Charleston Historic District and found this small cafe. I had a Irish Cream Iced Latte, super sweet but delicious and had a strong coffee taste. My husband got 2 ham and cheese croissants, thinking they were going to be small but they where large, warm fluffy and buttery, one would of been perfect. I had the Spanish and mushroom quiche, a cute little pie tin filled with a flaky crust and soft warm egg mixture with a lot of spinach and cheese, I didn't taste any mushrooms, but maybe they were cut small.
