Coffee was fantastic! I was a little surprised to learn they don't carry decaf. I'm one of those people who only drinks decaf--I'm already wound up enough without the caffeine, and I genuinely just enjoy the taste of coffee. Because they didn't have decaf, I went ahead and ordered a regular coffee, and I have to say, it was very good. We weren't quite sure what we wanted, and the girl helping us was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. She really took her time with us, which I appreciated. I asked for a s'mores-inspired drink since that's my favorite flavor profile, and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered a maple bourbon latte with almond milk, and he loved his as well. We didn't stay this visit, but we did ask about seating and confirmed that they are pet-friendly on their patio. It's a smaller patio, but I always love when a place offers a space to hang out that's also welcoming to pets. Overall, great coffee, great service, and a welcoming vibe--definitely worth checking out. read more

Such a cute little coffee shop with the sweetest people inside. We got an iced mocha with extra mocha, which was yummy and then an iced Cinnamonkey which was smooth and cinnamon-y. And then we got a ham and cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant, both delicious. I'd highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant, which could easily be split between two people!!! Thank you Bald Monkey! We aren't super local to the area but when we pop back up, we'll be back! read more

Stopped in at Bald Monkey Beanery since I was in the area, and got a 20 oz mocha. After the last few weeks of $7+ downtown drinks, the price was refreshing. The selection here is pretty massive too. Tasty drink, could taste the mocha and it was smooth and just a little creamy without being too sweet, and the folks behind the counter asked if I wanted whipped cream, which I appreciated (I never want it). They were unfortunately out of baked goods, I would have liked to try an almond croissant. It's a little small on the inside, just a few tables, and a few seats outside too I think? Good coffee at a reasonable price from a locally owned place will always put a smile on my face, and Bald Monkey Beanery wins here. Staff on Sunday afternoon was very friendly and service was quick. Best cold foam I've ever had The drink I get is the "F*** me up" it's their cold brew with 3 shots of espresso. I put the cold foam on that with no flavoring and it's so good. My favorite spot in town and one of my favorite coffee drinks I've ever had. Strong and tasty. read more

By now, everyone should know that I love coffee. I was excited when I saw this place. The lady in the drive-through was very friendly and said that they were training so it was gonna take a little longer than expected. I did end up ordering a iced buttered pecan oat milk latte with toffee cold foam. Now flavor wise it was a good drink but coffee wise it was very weak. I think she said that they put one shot of espresso in a small. So maybe think about getting two for a stronger taste of coffee. read more

I came across this coffee shop as I was driving to a meeting. They were super fast in the drive thru, there were three cars ahead of me and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I ordered an ice coffee with almond milk and an almond croissant. They were both pretty good! Worth the stop! read more

the coffee is great, but the owner is a dick. He was talking shit about his wife to 5 customers, and talking about how women are the cause of all bad things. he also brought up women orgasming. not appropriate at all. even the other girl working apologized for his behavior. read more

I'll be back to give it another try. I'm not sure what happened but I asked if they have Frozen blended coffee drinks. The service was kind of meh so I didn't get much feedback on what they were. I asked if I just pick a flavor or how it works and they said yes. So I picked salted toffee. I'm pretty sure I was given blended ice, milk and syrup by the taste and color. The syrup flavor was good, but not at all what I went out there for. I kept sipping, wondering if I'm going crazy but I'm pretty sure there wasn't coffee. The shop itself looked cute from the outside. read more

I like the indie vibe of a small locally owned cafe. This is definitely that. The coffee is good, the food is good (not always a large variety depending on the time of day, but what there is has always been good. The service is reasonably good. I was a little confused at the drive thru because you look at the menu first and then drive up to the window to order and pay. I thought there was a speaker to order through while you are looking at the menu. I will say, I'm not a huge fan of the names of the menu items. Some of the are a little inappropriate, but as long as I don't have to say it, I don't really care. read more

Our go to place! Always on spot with their coffee. Pure talent. Their pastries are so good they get sold out quickly too. I used to sell pastries and baked good in the PNW to coffee shops and this place definitely has the best in the area. Service is always on spot, with quick, efficient and friendly. We also love how they always decorate for the seasons. read more

This place is an excellent coffee shop and I try to stop here at least a couple morning a week before work. The owner is so welcoming and he makes you feel at home. The coffee is absolutely delicious and an added bonus is how much holiday spirit they have. Halloween and Christmas decorations in the drive-thru are always a spectacle and really adds to the immersive experience. They even have quick bites you can order as well which really hit the spot when you're on the go in the morning. I love it here! read more

Love this local, veteran owned coffee shop. It's such a cozy atmosphere inside. They have the best coffees and Lattes ranging from a variety of flavors. They also have Pastries, croissants, and muffins that sourced from a local Charleston bakery. The croissants and danishes are massive so make sure you come hungry. The customer service is always on point. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for serving the local Goose Creek area with quality coffee and food!! read more

I went in this morning, for the first time. I bought 3 16 oz vanilla lattes and was charged $32 dollars.. the cashier didn't tell me the total I had to find it in my account.. I didn't think $32 dollars would be charged. I reached out and they said they have local fees plus a processing fee. Needless to say never going back and don't recommend coffee was bland and not sweet. read more

Delicious coffee, cool ambiance and excellent service. The owner is super cool and makes you feel right at home. Phenomenal! The atmosphere is always welcoming and comfortable. The owners are super sweet and engaging. Always happy to talk to you and make your day. The food is tasty, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. I love the iced caramel macciatto paired with a warm chocolate crossaint or a warm cheese danish. Awesome coffee shop in Goose Creek! I drive through this area every morning and I finally stopped in and I'm so glad I did. I was welcomed by the owner with a smiling face and he recommended two things; the Salted Carmel Macchiato and the turkey and cheese croissant. This is a charming, local coffee shop with a great vibe. The entire staff is a reflection of the wonderful owner. My husband loves stopping in the morning because they're open so early so he can get breakfast before he goes to work. They are lifesavers for sure! Me and my partner came from Salt Lake City, UT. We decided to try this place out since it has good ratings. We are both coffee lovers, our favorite coffee drink is iced caramel macchiato made with oat milk and it has been our usuals. And Bald Monkey Beanery's ice caramel macchiato w/ oats was expensive for it's worth. It tasted watered down. Nothing compare to what real coffee tasted back home. Overall, the drive thru staff was very nice! read more

Great coffee, found this on a work trip, really good iced chai latte. Will be making a trip back soon

The shop is small, but it doesn't need much. It is a bit dark inside. The couch inside was a bit gross, but it had some other seating around for waiting. The coffee was very good but a bit sweet- I asked for cream and sugar, but they didn't ask how much and I watched three large spoonfuls go on. Way too much for me! They use beans from local coffee roasters, which is nice to support other local places. The pastry case had what looked like Costco items in it. I did order a cheese danish that was very large and tasted just okay. $7 for a danish the size of my kids head, a small coffee and cup of milk. The outside patio area is very lovely with all of the plants but is SO dirty. The furniture was filthy and the whole area smelled like cigarettes. There were containers of used cigarettes all over. I was afraid to stay out there with my daughter for fear she might try to play with the buckets of ashes. They have a drive thru, so I may use that and try it again. read more

I like a good coffee. I LOVE a great locally owned veteran owned with amazing service and friendly people that serve up a great locally sourced fare. They serve Saffron's totally delicious pastries fresh delivered daily! Their beans are locally roasted (of course they aren't locally grown because we just don't have that climate here). There is always something interesting to chat about inside or today the Blue Planet doc series is playing. I really do love feeling like I'm among family. They are completely worth coming to Goose Creek for a cuppa. Don't forget they give military and veteran discounts and have a fabulous new location on Fletcher St near Naval Weapon Station entrance. read more

I recently went here to study with a friend, and it was the cutest place! The girl who was working there was so friendly and kind. She really made our experience great. We saw that they just got their fall menu in, so I had to try their Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. It was amazing, I highly recommend it! The prices were very reasonable for a local coffee shop, so I appreciated that. There wasn't a ton of room to sit inside, but they do have two picnic tables outside along with some comfy outdoor patio chairs to sit at. Since it was nice out, that's what we did! Was looking for a coffee shop on the way to Charleston Historic District and found this small cafe. I had a Irish Cream Iced Latte, super sweet but delicious and had a strong coffee taste. My husband got 2 ham and cheese croissants, thinking they were going to be small but they where large, warm fluffy and buttery, one would of been perfect. I had the Spanish and mushroom quiche, a cute little pie tin filled with a flaky crust and soft warm egg mixture with a lot of spinach and cheese, I didn't taste any mushrooms, but maybe they were cut small. We also got a pecan cinnamon roll, it was large as well, the dough was flaky like a croissant. read more

I dropped in here while on my way to Summerville from Mt Pleasant. I like to try and support smaller local businesses, and I'm really glad I chose to go a bit out of my way to check this place out. They get their coffee from local roasters, and have a really fun/young vibe. It's a super small space, but has a nice deck to drink on and great service. While I thought my cup of Joe was okay, I really liked the chi tea my wife got. I found it too small to want to work/hang out inside, but I'll definitely drop in again if on the road and wanting a funky & fun coffee house to spice up my day! read more
