I am a Park Circle resident and pass this coffee shop on my way into work downtown. Most mornings I have a black coffee at home, but when I want a special treat I stop here in the morning. Their coffee is so smooth and not bitter at all. They usually have baked goods from a local baker available too. I absolutely love the mid-century mod decor - it fits the vibe of the neighborhood. Service is always fast and friendly. Be sure to check-in using the Blackbird app to get points when you're here!
We stopped in and ordered the decaf orange blossom and honey iced coffee that the barista recommended. It was delicious! I wouldn't expect orange and honey to mix well with coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great combo! Such a cute place with a welcoming environment and staff. Yum!
This cute coffee shop has a small parking lot in front. We got the coconut cold brew, which my husband really enjoyed. We also got some black sesame hot drink coffee that came with a crunchy black sesame cracker. I personally didn't care for the drinks, but my husband absolutely enjoyed both of them. He said it tasted so good and it was strong (which he likes). My husband said he would definitely come back if we were in the area again and highly recommend this place.
Very nice staff. Loved the vibes and merch! Got the coconut cold brew and it was awesome. Not sure if its supposed to hace a subtle coconut taste or not but I still really liked it. Good beans and roast!
They moved their location to a freestanding building and has a cute little outdoor seating area to enjoy your coffee after you order it. They also have plenty of space inside of the café to sit as well. They make it easy to order on a kiosk and are helpful if you have any questions about any of the menu items, they have pastry options as well. I really liked the coffee that I ordered and added cold foam to it and it was delicious.
The food was mediocre art best, the no-dairy idea for a coffee shop is ridiculous, I can't do alternative 'milks' so it left me with an Americano which I'm ok with but then it was also mediocre. The service was indifferent. All in all a waste of time.

We got the apple Cinnamon Foccacia and a seasonal drink(s) Ghourd something- my friend got the original and because I can't get the same thing as others I got the matcha version. I really liked it. Everything is plant based so oat milk is their base but they also offer almond milk. I'm more of a savory person, but the focaccia was interesting (in a good way). Cute retro vibes in the shop, and it got kind of full- not a whole lot of seating. It seems like a popular place enjoyed by locals
Been meaning to stop in here for a while, I see it a lot when I come to Park Circle with my kids. Got in here today, I had an Americano snd s banana blueberry muffin, and he had a coffee and cookie. Just as a heads up, this is a plant based place so no dairy is available for the coffees and the menu will also be a touch limited. That said, it's nice that there is an option for those who are strict about having no animal products in or around their food. My Americano was totally fine and normal, a touch acidic but they usually are. My kid liked his coffee but he's not old enough to have much coffee sophistication. I REALLY liked my muffin, it was very much not from a box, very fresh, tons of banana flavor! The treats were a slight bit pricey but the coffee was extremely reasonable so it evened out. Good place to stop at if you are around Park Circle! J.Ja
Such a fun vintage style space. The espresso tonic and biscotti were the perfect treats to enjoy while I chilled and read my book.

In addition to cafe drinks and baked goods, there's merch and some other wares for purchase. I really enjoyed The Year of our Gourd pumpkin latte. Also got the coconut cold brew that so many rave about. Both were quite strong!
I got caught in the rain in Charleston and on the way out of that, I made a stop into Prophet Coffee. It is soooo cute inside. It's a garage turned into a coffee shop and roaster. There is a decent amount of space to come with a group, it's a little awkward as just one person hanging out. It's pretty chill and I liked it. The menu is not expansive, but what is there covers just about anything you might want. I got the coconut cold brew. It's not too coconut forward, but it's very smooth and the coffee flavor comes through nicely. I put a vanilla cold foam on top. It's not super sweet, but it didn't feel like it needed more either. They had two options for snacks (both muffins). I decided not to try today, but they are both vegan options (possibly gluten free as well). I was intrigued by a matcha that would be mixed with grapefruit jarritos. It's a seasonal drink so I may have to come back soon to try that out. I was also pleased that they have lavender (I love lavender). I believe the owners wife served me today. She is very knowledgeable about the menu and caffeine content (the coconut cold brew has a lot of caffeine). And it was not crowded today so the service was very quick. She also let me sample the coffee to see if I would want more sugar. This is a win for me. I'll be back.
Such a great place to get a good latte and a small bite. Very good ambience with lots of seating. Their outdoor space is also very cute. The baristas are all so sweet and I always love coming here. I come here weekly.

The vibe inside is nice. It's what you would expect from a trendy, aesthetic coffee shop: hip, aesthetic, and retro. We ordered the chai latte, cold brew with caramel and oat milk, and a slice of earl grey carrot cake. We added sweet coconut cold foam to both drinks. I was astonished to pay $19 for those 2 drinks and another $8 for a very small slice of cake. Chai latte- Found it to be okay...nothing super special about it. Cold brew- It reminded me of this specific sesame grain drink with barely any coffee taste. Could not finish. Carrot cake- It was moist and the frosting was good. No part of it tasted like earl grey imo. I would skip on the sweet coconut cold foam as it barely provides sweetness to your drink, which in turn, is not worth the additional cost. Overall, it was a nice place to cool down and the atmosphere was alright. The interior is aesthetic and well designed. Coffee is not really special and cake is good. Wallet may shed a tear. read more

OMG the cold brew coffee was amazing with coconut milk! The service was great with a friendly smile and a refreshing sight on a rainy day. The place is very bespoke with techno bumping over the speakers and a welcoming atmosphere. The muffins were good but a bit mushy so I only ate the crunchy sugar top but it was sweet and yummy. read more

Notice the water bowl serving your canines a refreshing mid summer slurp. Tasty treats from the neighbor bakery Cakette just down the street. Need a Valentine's Day surprise for yourself or someone in your life? Check out Cakette's adorable heart shaped box of assorted goodies or treat yourself with a sugar sprinkles chocolate chip banana muffin. The muffin was so delicious! I have to go to the bakery to see what else they bake up. Service is excellent as always. I was informed that you can always ask about a past special if not on the menu. If they have the ingredients, they're happy to accommodate. I LOVE the orange blossom mocha. Prophet Coffee is located in what looks like an old brewery or barn in the Park Circle area. It has parking surrounding it & plenty across the street. This family run coffee shop was absolutely packed with a constant trail of customers coming through the door. No wonder, The vibe is cool and hip without trying too hard, clean hippy design, a laid-back atmosphere, and an overall sense of creativity and community. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly care about what they're doing. But the real star is the coffee--smooth, rich, and consistently excellent. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or settling in with a latte, it's clear they take pride in every cup. Do not miss this gem of a spot on Spruill Avenue. read more

I did not realize that this was a vegan/plant-based cafe upon entering (maybe I knew when I put it on my list of places to visit and then forgot). But here it is, and it was really good. They have a choice of almond or oat milk for beverages, and they use a local oat milk brand which is of high quality. They also had a couple of pastries, and I went for a gluten-free muffin. The muffin was fluffy and moist; if anything it crumbled a little easier than most wheat-based items, but not so much as to make it hard to wolf down. It was a banana blueberry creation dusted with sugar on top, and thus was sweet and quite delicious. As such, it was good that I ordered a hojicha, a roasted tea beverage with a strong and bitter flavor to balance it out. They do a good hojicha, but plenty of other options were available. The place is attached to what looked like a home goods store. The coffee shop itself is just a little nook on the side of the building. There is a gravel outdoor seating area next to the building which is pleasant enough for those who want to stay. I would have been happy finding it anywhere, but particularly given that Charleston is not known for its vegan food, this is a place to know. read more

Finally got to see the new brick and mortar shop and the vibes are still on brand! The baristas were fast and super friendly and the coffee was great! I got the orange blossom mocha and it was delicious. Subtle mocha, burst of orange blossom flavor and they even added a little bit of zest for the aromatics! Great shop! read more

Found this place looking for coffee spots as I usually do on maps. I normally just pick based on how the vibes look. This place might have been the first one I looked for was local to where we were staying. Best coffee we ended up having all week in Charleston by leaps and bounds. I'd honestly give the coco banaza special a 9.3 it was amazing. The atmosphere in side was super unique getting to get your drink from a coffee truck inside. Went back for the frozen baja matcha and another latte on the last day as well. Baja matcha I'd give an 8.5. Highly recommend can't wait to go back next time we are in the area. read more
We LOVE Prophet Coffee. They just opened their storefront this week and it's adorable! The interior is so well styled and cozy. You will get A+ service here and some great conversation with some awesome people. I am a big coffee snob and have loved everything I've had from them. I'm a drip coffee girl (and I'm picky about it), and I can tell they put a ton of thought into their coffee brewing method. I think they have custom beans too. The other day I had a dirty chai and it was probably the best one I've ever had. Trying not to go in every single day since I live close by, but will probably not get coffee from anywhere else for the foreseeable future. read more

Prophet Coffee is the perfect Saturday morning stop. They have great beverage options (decaf included), friendly staff, and DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies. I've seen the owner of this tiny import van working on it in his driveway for months and wondered what his plan was. It turns out he was building a mobile coffee shop on wheels! I saw a post on a local FB group that he was launching his soft opening so I decided to stop by that morning. He's currently doing 7am-3pm on certain days so check social media for updated hours. He's located on Spruill Ave in front of where Ink Meets Paper was and directly to the right of Nippitatty Distillery. He was easy to find and when I pulled up I was the only one there so I got to chat with the owner for a minute. His name is Bryson and he's going to be popping up his mobile coffee shop in the Park Circle neighborhood. He's using Valor brand coffee and was selling locally made mini muffins as a snack that were vegan and gluten free. It sounds like his whole operation might be vegan but don't quote me on that for sure. He has hot and cold coffee options as well as espresso or drip. My Coconut Cold Brew coffee was delicious and not very sweet which is what I prefer. I'm looking forward to checking out more of the menu and the renovation he did on this sweet van. When he opens the back you can see all the storage for water and the machines he has set up and it's quite impressive to fit into such a tiny space. Go check out this mobile cafe asap! read more

I love this unique concept! Bryson is so great and makes a delicious cup of coffee. I've had the carob coffee, coconut cold brew with oat milk and the chai latte (iced). All were really great in flavor and definitely gave me the caffeine jump I needed. The prices are very reasonable and it's quickly ready. I'm glad they've got a good spot to park during the week and I'll be keeping an eye out for him on the weekends as he moves locations. read more

Prophet Coffee has quickly become one of my favorite places to grab a coffee for a few reasons, but I'm especially obsessed with their to-go cups. They use these reusable plastic cups with lids that come with a little cover to prevent spills--they look like sippy cups! I just hand wash mine, I use them all the time. If you bring the cup back, I think you get a discount on your drink (don't quote me on that, though). The atmosphere is great. The outside area is super cute, with big umbrellas and chairs that are perfect for chatting, or you can sit inside to get some work done. The indoor space is a bit limited, but if you get there early enough, it's manageable. I've been ordering their matcha, all drinks are fully plant based which is good. Parking can be a tad limited but if you find a spot it's totally worth it. I definitely recommend it! read more
