Another wonderful morning, another wonderful coffee! Always happy to see the seasonal menu out at Brew. Service was awesome as always! March decor was adorable.
I visited for the first time today and ordered an "Americano" with light cream, light water and whipped cream. Upon receiving the drink which was prepared by a friendly young woman I tasted a few sips and found the drink was too heavy on the cream and the dairy was not agreeing with me. I returned to the counter and explained the situation to the woman wearing a T-shirt and baseball cap and she was extremely rude. She told me we made the drink "to order" we can't take it back I was actually wanting to switch the drink to a "Shot in the dark" a drink that cost half the price of the "Americano" I originally ordered, (but didn't contain the cream). She seemed argumentative and questioned me wanting to add whipped cream to the new drink that I requested. She stated "Whipped cream is dairy" She proceeded to charge me for the second drink even though I was unable to drink the first drink. Her customer service was extremely poor. I tried to support a local coffee spot however the well known "coffee chains" would have respected their customer and simply replaced or remade the drink to one they could actually enjoy. The interior appeared clean and there were chairs and areas along the wall to sit and sip. They sell both savory snacks like croissants and sweet snacks like muffins.
Iced coffee flight was amazing!! There are other flight options like hot cocoa and mimosas. Bakery items also on the menu, fluffy delicious croissants. The staff are very friendly and helped with the menu. Indoor and outdoor seating, spacious overall with accessible restrooms. Parking lot right outside the business.
The staff were so sweet! They let me try their caramel‑honey sweet foam with my matcha latte, which turned out delicious. I also love how spacious the coffee shop is, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. They do have free Wi‑Fi; however, be aware that the connection is so secure that I couldn't log into a few websites, which was understandable given how severe hacking is. Overall, I highly recommend Brew! It's a perfect spot to enjoy coffee while working or studying.

Brew is one of my favorite coffee shops to visit in the Charleston area. The drinks are always good, they offer a good selection of pastries and pre-prepped food items, and (best of all) they have tons of seating. My writing group meets here about every other month, because there is consistently comfortable seating avaialable for us to sit and write together. The service is always wonderful. In fact, when they forgot to hand me my drink for a few minutes during one visit, they were incredibly apologetic and asked if I would like anything else to make up for it. I wasn't worried about the wait, but they were. What really sets Brew apart is their option to purchase a flight of coffee or mimosas. I love to get a flight of flavored lattes to sip on while I work!
I've never had a latte flight that I actually enjoyed until now! I always love the concept but I usually end up with 4 watered down coffees. That was not the case here! All of the flavors I tried I would have enjoyed in a large size! With a wide variety of flavors, there's something for everyone. The cookie dough and the banana pudding were PHENOMENAL! The folks at the register were super friendly and answered all of our questions. Would absolutely recommend this place to friends!
Stopped in on a hot summer day for an Oceania and an oatmeal cookie. Service was fast and friendly. Cookie was huge, not too sweet, and not too greasy/buttery/oily which I appreciate. Inside is very spacious and decorated in farmhouse industrial, and there is outdoor seating as well, much of it covered. In addition to the usual coffee house items, they serve wines, ice cream, and I believe beer. The iced mocha wasn't my favorite, the coffee was was a touch acidic, I barely tasted the mocha flavor at all, but at least it wasn't sickly sweet or a coffee milkshake like some places will do. A fair amount of power outlets and not an ear melting soundtrack (actually really liked the music in here, very modern stuff without having lyrics to distract) make it a suitable place to open a laptop and get some work done. Pricing felt very fair, just under $10 for. Monster cookie and a drink, though the drink could have been a smidge larger. Overall a really nice neighborhood coffee shop, with the space to do small events and a nice twist on the formula. J.Ja

I've been meaning to come out here for years ever since I heard and saw some dazzling coffee flight photos. Brew is spacious, hospitable, and has a little something for everyone from coffee to wine. They provide not just coffee flights but mimosa and beer flights as well. The coffee flight itself was an absolute delight - the lady asked if I wanted to be surprised and I'm glad she offered because there's so much flavors to choose from!! The lineup they had was comprised of some all-star flavors, all were delish but if I had to pick, the cookies n' cream stood out the most. Brew is a little bit out of my way, but worth the drive (would love to Brew 2.0 open in goose creek/Nexton/Summerville area!!). Another note: I truly appreciate the free coffee grounds they provide, it does wonder for my garden!
I sometimes end up at Tanner Plantation for the grocery store or vet and always wondered where Brew was. I knew it was close by, but hadn't Identified it until a few months ago when I went looking. You have to drive into the neighborhood and it's there next to Nigel's Good Food. I still haven't tried the flights they're known for, but everything I have had has been great. The coffee is great and I enjoy the yogurt parfaits as an alternative to a pastry. They have a ton of space so you could definitely get some work done here and they have free wifi too. I think I saw that they have spent grounds to use for your own compost at home for free. Definitely check this place out.
Wish I was living in this apartment complex because Brew is right in it! They don't serve coffee flights until 12pm, but the barista was nice enough to make us flights at 11:30. They have all sorts of flavors, and same for mimosas too. Turkey and Cheese Croissant: They warm it up for you. I thought the croissant was fluffy and nice, but the cheese and turkey were a little dry and hard. Coffee Flight: I got Butter Pecan, Hazelnut, Almond Roca, and Creme de Menthe flavors. Couldn't really taste the butter pecan but hazelnut and almond were my favorite. Cucumber water was refreshing as well. Complaint: None Overall: 8 out of 10

Popped by after taking a yoga class nearby. Huge space that I was expecting- with some local treat options to purchase. Also had a mug wall for dine in where you get 10% off if you use one. Okay, cute!! Tons of specials, loads of pastries. Easily so much to chose from. Barista was friendly and quick, as he was the only one behind the counters Went with a special Americano and it was delightful. Refreshing after a class. So excited to pop in again the next time I'm in the area. read more

Brew is a great local coffee shops! The atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of indoor seating plus a large covered patio that's perfect for enjoying your coffee outside. It's also a great spot if you have your dog with you. The menu has a lot of unique seasonal drinks, and I love that they offer coffee flights if you're having trouble deciding. Everything we've tried has been delicious, and it's fun being able to sample a few different flavors at once. They also have a nice selection of pastries, breakfast items, and even beer and wine. The staff is always friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions or make recommendations. The little details make this place special--from the local artwork on the walls to the cozy vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee or meeting up with friends, Brew is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend! read more

I've been wanting to try Brew ever since I saw they did coffee flights! It is so cute inside! I love that they made every area a cozy corner to sit in. I didn't take pictures of the outside but it is just as pleasing! I was so excited to try the coffee flights & the barista explained how they worked to me. Everything comes iced, with lattes you choose your milk and flavors & they add whip cream/toppings. I went with Pumpkin Pie Sweet Cream Cold Brew, Apple Latte, Toasted Marshmallow Latte, and Pumpkin Latte! At first I was disappointed in the Pumpkin Latte until I got to the bottom, the flavor was amazing! After that, I swirled each drink before tasting. I am a barista and I make my own syrups at home, so I'm usually very picky! They pull the shots nicely and the syrups are delicious! I honestly couldn't pick a favorite. Brew really does have a special place in my heart. It has an amazing variety of drinks that never disappoint. I usually get a iced coffee with turtle cheesecake and caramel syrup and it's always a 10/10. (Def try it out!) but today I wanted something different. I opted for a iced matcha with oak milk and wow!! Super refreshing. I'm not sure if I had a bit of cinnamon in it because it had a similar taste. You can indeed taste the oak milk! The matcha wasn't too powerful. Service was super quick! Got my drink within five minutes of me ordering. Overall, such a good drink. Love Brew! read more

I love going back to Hanahan and seeing new things each time. This trip we decided to go here to start our day off right with a mimosa flight and light snacks. They have a wide selection of flavors to pick from for your mimosas and features local bakery goods and dishes for purchase. I got the Gouda and Bacon quiche and it was amazing. They also have specialty coffees for sale like, Cookie Dough, so if you aren't in the mood to drink then I would recommend giving their coffee a go. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be going back again when I'm in town. read more
Great Place - This was opened on the day April 13th 2021 i was away to Camp Lejeune, NC - i was coming back on April 14th 2021. I've been to Brew a few times now. The first time I did the coffee flight and was impressed. The 16 ounces you get throughout the four cups is cheaper than my Starbucks drink and I got a variety, so that was nice. They have a ton of sugar free options to choose from. I am a big fan of their iced lattes and cold brew. They have a drive through window which makes it very convenient when you have a tiny human in the backseat who will ask for everything they see if you go inside. Their croissants are superb. Buttery and delicious and the filled ones are fantastic. I've tried the ham and cheese and the roast beef one. The environment is really nice and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. read more

Brew has been on my radar for awhile because I love flights, but it was kind of out of the way. I finally made it up there with a friend and it will be our new meet up for fun or homework! Definitely was quiet enough to focus on work, but large enough where we could have a conversation without bothering other people. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and respected my friends request for a vegan coffee flight. There are dozens of coffee flavors and we had a lot of fun with it! Only thing is I would love to see real glass in the future. read more
a nice solid cafe to hang out or do work! they have a lot of syrups to choose from and you can even do latte flights with different flavors. i got the mixed berry iced matcha with soy milk and it was decent. i wished the mixed berries were purées instead of syrups but overall still a solid drink. read more
I've been here a few times now and I LOVE the coffee and mimosa flights! There are so many flavors to choose from. There is plenty of parking and they also had a food truck while I was there. Not sure if that's a regular thing, but it was nice to have more food options. It is a bit pricey, but you do get your money's worth! read more
I'm actually surprised this place doesn't have ten s. Come on people! It's clean, the staff are extremely friendly (even during these trying times), the coffee flights (yes, I said COFFEE FLIGHTS) are hands down AMAZING, they have endless possibilities, AND your husband/significant other can be entertained by the beer/cider on tap, just saying! This is and will be one of my favorite stops in the area! read more

I am obsessed with Brew, it is one of the beat cafes near me. The vibes are always vibing in here, and the staff are awesome! It may seem very overwhelming looking at allllllll their flavors for the coffee flights but I always ask them to surprise me and it hasn't failed so far! read more

Finally made it to Brew! It was a late Saturday afternoon. I opted for a coffee flight and glad I'm did. It is a super cute spot. It's very comfortable and has different seating options. It's very modern and clean. I loved the bathrooms. It's an open concept and very clean! I definitely want to come back and try some of the yummy looking baked goods. And hello! They have draft beer as well! I will definitely be back soon! read more
Tried the flights at Brew and they were super original and a different experience for sure. My favorites were English Toffee then Cookie Dough. Toasted marshmallow and cheesecake also decent. Only area for improvement is less ice since it made it a little hard to drink with ice constantly hitting your teeth. Board had so many more flavors to try so definitely will be going back. Food options looked tasty so there will be a brownie in my future as well. Lastly loved the fun sticker collection. #bergerknowsbest read more
