Nice staff. Weird food and expensive. I grew up in Charleston and visit my mom pretty much quarterly. Lately I've resorted to flying vs driving because I hate I95 and the drive is boring. Anyway on this trip I had a little time to spare so I stopped at Commonhouse to get a glass of wine and a small bite to eat. For my food I got pimento cheese thinking it would be a small bowl of the spread with bread, ham and pickles. After waiting a long time the server brought me these small bites with pimento cheese and ham that had been heated. It wasn't that great and for the price it was ridiculous. Looked like something a 5 year old would make. Anyway, not sure I'd eat here again. Next time I'll get chick-fil-a and then just have a glass of wine.

Great way to end the week! A ice cold beer, great food, good people and fun music! The outdoor area is like being at friends backyard.. Fun times, we will definitely be back!!!

Food is always on point here! I've had their burgers and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both great. I love their potato salad. It's a good price for the area as well. It's more like a Biergarten kind of place and that's my favorite part about it.

I love the quick bites here! They have a really great lunch deal as well! I love the quick ordering at the front and their outdoor space is really great. Prices are amazing and the staff is also super sweet always!

We just added a new pup to our family last week and decided to try out Commonhouse with her as our first venture out! What I hadn't noticed before was the little window to order from if you couldn't leave the dog with someone which is awesome, along with a wide selection of clean dog bowls for water! The mimosa hit the spot, and the red fox ale was a winning selection. Kids gave the cheeseburgers five out of five stars and the beer cheese on the tots just made the trip totally worth it. We enjoyed some live music as the kids wrestled on the turf- a standout Sunday! Thanks for welcoming all, Commonhouse!

My favorite brewery in town! Great beer, delicious food and live Bluegrass on first Fridays! Always a great place to meet friends in Park Circle.

I recently went to common house ale works for the first time and I love the space. I like that it has an indoor but a huge outdoor area. They also just celebrated six years. They are located in the park Circle area which is a very up-and-coming hip area to go sip bite and taste everything. They have a really good selection of brews and they most recently have partnered up with Swig and Swine, so you best believe there's some good eats there too you can follow along on my food adventures overall Instagram @sipbiteandtasteit

Our meals were delicious. The chicken cacciatore sauce was outstanding. Substituted vegetables for pasta. The salmon was delicious as well. Great service and friendly owners and chef!! Save room for the bread. Yummy

After having dinner at Carolina ale. My friend and I zoom over to Commonhouse Aleworks. Visiting from Seattle the brewery capital. I thought this place was awesome. The microbrews were delicious, prices were cool, and they had food and brewery gear. There was plenty of space to enjoy your brew. Seems like a weekend hangout. All and all, I will be back. Regarding the district. Its right in the heart of everything happening. I had a good time.

Back in Charleston for a long weekend. First stop for lunch. Awesome place. I had a delicious stout, 'It's Pearce But Not Pearce'. Hubby loved IPAs. Great staff. She was super friendly and helpful (sorry didn't get name). And met one of the brewers who use to be at one that closed. So glad he is still making great stuff. Definitely be back!

Commonhouse has such a cool space. Plenty of seating inside, on their covered patio, and on the lawn. The service is fast and friendly. All of the food I've tried so far has been delicious. I especially recommend the boiled peanut hummus and the soft pretzel!

This venue is great and really combines a sense of community with great food, drinks and atmosphere. There is a stage where many locals come out and perform so you can catch comedy, music, dance and fun pretty much every day of the week. I haven't found cheese sticks this good in Charleston since Josie Joe's left Shem Creek. And their deep-fried giant pretzel is to die for... Just found out they make a dessert pretzel as well, so that will be for next time. Do yourself a favor and order one for the table, it's definitely share-worthy! Very nice staff with a relaxing vibe.

It was just after 12 noon and by some miracle we only stood in line about ten minutes. The rush came in shortly after although I will say they handle the crowds beautifully. When it comes to barbecue, I am a pulled pork girl and I have lived in Texas! I don't hate on brisket, but none of it has bowled me over. Until today. Once again, I wasn't ordering so I just went with the flow. That chopped brisket sandwich was so moist and full of flavor that it did not need a DROP of barbecue sauce. I did use the sauce to dip my fries in. I don't often eat macaroni and cheese although I do love it ( my hips don't!) but I had to try it or risk the wrath of my lunch companions. It was delicious! The best I have had in a restaurant. Collards were fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the rustic setting and certainly the company. They can choose dining spots for me anytime!

That's only half true. The mac and cheese was incredible! I am still drooling over it. Nice crust on top.. so yummy. Now, I had the brisket because sometimes pork doesn't agree with me. I wish I would've just taken an antacid and had the pork. I ordered the sliced lean brisket. It was not as tender as I would think and a little on the dry side. My husband had the pulled pork and our daughter had the pulled pork sandwich. Both raved about it. I had a bite of the sandwich and instantly regretted my meat choice. We ordered a pint of the mac and cheese, which was amazing! We also order a side of the tallow fries. Those were delish as well. The line was super long but they did a good job at moving it along. We sat outside at the patio since we had our pup with us. Great place to check out when visiting Charleston but I would encourage you to try the pork over the brisket.

Sausage is ok, and likes the chicken when he is in the mood for it. He hasnt had anything there that he doesnt like. I loved the turkey, baked beans and Mac n cheese. Our Hurricane drink was pretty delicious( with part of the proceeds goes to a charity for that one particular drink). The server was polite and friendly. They smoke and bbq all the meats right out back of the restaurant so the food came out quick, fresh and amazing! I personally loved the Mustard and Sweet Red sauces while my husband prefers the slight heat of the Jalapeño sauce . The recipes for the sauces are hanging up on the walls as part of the decor. The only thing i could knock them for is the bathroms were a little dingy. Not really super dirty, just needs some updating with new tiles and paint. Growing up in the Lowcountry, Sticky Fingers was one of mine (and my family's) favorite…read morerestaurants. Before all of their Lowcountry locations shuttered their doors, we could come here for special family occasions, casual lunches in downtown when I was a student at College of Charleston, or a dinner spot to pop into when running errands in Summerville or Mt. Pleasant. Imagine my joy upon returning for a visit to the Lowcountry for Mother's Day and finding out Sticky Fingers had made a long awaited return to North Charleston. I literally came here for dinner right after my flight landed Friday evening. It pains me to say, however, that THIS new Sticky Fingers is NOT the Sticky Fingers I grew up enjoying. I ordered some of my old-faithful menu items, only to find that none of them tasted the same. The hickory smoked wings were overcooked and dry (BURNT crispy on the edges), the pulled pork was hella dry ( I had to DROWN it in Carolina Gold sauce), and the fries that used to be delicious and crispy with the best fry seasoning had none of that going on. The only item that even tasted remotely close to what it used to be was my favorite appetizer - the loaded sticky potato skins. These were the best thing we had during dinner. Service was sub-par despite the fact that there were barely any other diners in the restaurant. We had to ask our server for items we ordered multiple times. For example, the corn bread that was supposed to come out with our entrees did not. We had to flag our server down on two separate times before they were brought out. In addition, there wasn't really any music playing in the restaurant so it was incredibly quiet and I felt like we were eating in a library. You would hear a song play every now and then very sporadically. Not sure if they were having issues with their speakers or what but with the lack of other diners it made for a bit of an awkward dining experience. At the close of our meal we sat there for 25+ minutes (after they had already closed at 9 mind you) before our server brought our checks to us - saying that another worker said they had taken care of our bill so she didn't realize we needed to pay. I missed the sweet corn muffins. I missed the loud blues music blaring from the speakers. I missed the exceptional high-quality food and friendly, professional service. Sticky Fingers may be back, but it ain't my Sticky Fingers.

Two of us ordered the margaritas on special, the berry margarita and the jalapeño margarita. Neither of us liked them. They both were too sweet and the jalapeño wasn't spicy. It had jalapeños floating in it, but it looked like pickled jalapeños from the jar, not fresh. My husband ordered tea and we had to ask four times for some lemon. His macaroni and cheese with pulled chicken was fine, but the cornbread was very dry and not flavorful. The appetizer soul rolls weren't what we expected based on the menu description. I wasn't a fan of the sliders, but honestly that's just because I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce that's sweet and all of them leaned sweet. So that was just my personal taste issue. My side of macaroni and cheese was good, though. The tray of meat and sides was fine. Unfortunately, we would not choose to visit this place again.
