First day open and I'm so excited to welcome Brew to the neighborhood. I stopped in to try one of their hand crafted drinks and though nitro isn't setup yet, I did enjoy a delicious iced caramel macchiato. So much better than the chains. I also grabbed a blueberry scone and it was packed with sweet blueberries. Perfect combination. I'll be back again soon to enjoy a cold craft brew on tap. After a hike or run in Wanamaker County Park, this is a great place to relax. Great bakery and lunch offerings. I had chicken salad. Very well done not too much mayo. Interesting local beer and wine offerings. Would be a nice, quiet place to spend a Friday evening with friends. Only negative... While we were there, was a party of four also outside on the patio smoking cigarettes. Most places discouraged this... No one here seem to notice or care.. Everyone on the patio shifted away from them and thankfully they left. read more

Run, don't walk to Brew! This coffee bar is so cozy with its indoor and outdoor seating. There's plenty of parking out front. They have cozy chairs or a bar you can sit at. If you're just looking for a quick drink or want to sit and stay, you can do both. Between 2-4 they have coffee and mimosa flights with a ton of options to pick from. They also have several beers on draft, most local and some I never knew existed! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I told the cashier that it was my first time there and she was very patient explaining the process of ordering for me. They have small bites to eat and pastries to pick from. I tried their iced latte and it was weak. They have a summer menu, check the photo for the details. I wanted to try their mixed berry matcha but it isn't a purée but syrup so I didn't. They have some cool flavours like toasted marshmallow but if you don't like too sweet, ask for less. They have a lot of syrup options, which isn't too up my alley but a fun alternative. Their coffee is roasted at King Bean Roasters in Charleston. They also have some coffee beans for purchase, including decaf options. The service was great and I got my drink very quickly. There is a lot of space indoors and seating outdoors. Great ambiance. read more

I loved how welcoming it felt inside and was greeted right away. It was my first time going and was also having to study for my registry exam so I got a flight of drinks to sip on while I was there for a bit. What a great and spacious space! We checked this out for remote work space and it's definitely up there! Their WiFi is super fast and their coffee options are amazing, next time I will definitely do the coffee flight had I not had coffee before coming there! Definitely recommend this place! Also I tried this new drink which was a raspberry chai tea latte w/ almond milk and it was so refreshing, light, and yummy! Their outdoor space is also really nice and large! My friend and I had a coffee date here the other day. They are now offering their flights of coffee all day! We got there around noon and it wasn't that busy. I enjoyed all of the flavors that I got on my flight. The lemon bar was amazing! The lady behind the counter says their desserts come from Saffron Bakery in Charleston. Been wanting to visit this cafe for awhile and it did not disappoint. I got the mimosa flight and picked out four different flavors. I want to say that the strawberry and blue raspberry were my favorites. The strawberry muffins are good as well (didn't get a picture before I destroyed it). I wanted to try the flights of coffee and was told they ran out of cups and there was a whole bunch of cups sitting at empty tables and the lady up front could use better hospitality. Great atmosphere. Amazing prices and even better food and beverages. The customer service was good. I wish they would explain things a little better when walking in. They didn't have an alcohol menu which left me confused, as I was there for mimosas only. But after asking they were happy to explain. I love this place and will definitely be back. The cutest coffee bar! The vibes are wonderful, and they have plenty of seating. They also have multiple beers on tap and mimosa flights! Their latte is one of my favorites in Charleston, especially with their 20+ syrup flavors to add in. They have multiple pastries to choose from and some savory items. The pasta salad was delicious! Brew is a gorgeous little cafe in the heart of Hanahan. This is the best spot in town for coffee, mimosas, sandwiches, and even dessert. Personally my favorite would have to be the chicken salad either on the croissant or in the bell pepper. The customer service was amazing, I specifically remember Macrae she's always so sweet and helpful when I come in for my coffee fix.

We were really excited when Brew first opened up to have a cute coffee shop close to home. But almost every trip there has been a disappointment. The latte flights are awful. It's like they don't scale down the recipe for the size of the drinks so the flavors are super off. Most of their baked goods have this freezer burnt taste to them. They're almost always out of whatever beer we order or just have a meh selection. I will say that the mimosa flight is pretty good. The majority of the staff seem to be older high schoolers and it's hit or miss on how polite/helpful they are. read more

The staff was very friendly and recommended their favorite latte flavor combinations for our latte flight. Brew offers milk substitutes for the flight, we stuck with 2%, how it comes, and our total for the flight was $13. Our toddler was upset that she wasn't allowed to have some of mom and dad's coffee and the staff happily made a cute chocolate milk with whipped cream and sprinkles for her and she was happy as could be! The indoor seating was very spacious, comfortable and looked like a great place to get work done. We hope to make Brew a weekly stop for a family coffee date. read more

Went on a Saturday shortly before 2pm for the coffee flight. It was crowded, as expected, and the staff was doing the best they could at keeping up. The flight was just ok (maybe because they were literally serving them as fast as they could sling them out), but ordered a regular full size drink and it was good. Would try again if I was in the area but I wouldn't make a special trip. read more
