Was recommended this place. Way off the beaten path for sure but worth it!! It sits facing the water off an old naval base! You can walk to see the history and then enjoy some good eats at MOMO. They have patio, upstairs bar and regular dining seating. Georgia was our sever and was very pleasant. It was well worth going to!
I've enjoyed brunch and some early lunches here due to the relaxing view of the water and courteous staff. While I found the brunch menu to be on the smaller side the food was good. We also enjoy going on a walk where we continue to enjoy the view after we finish our meals. I found the hush puppies to be very good and also enjoyed their grits quite a bit.
I came here for a bachelorette dinner (party of 9). I ordered the cacio e pepe with chicken and herb fries. The main entree was good and a good serving size. The only comment I have is it is heavy on black pepper. I liked the herb fries as well but not very herby, more on the plain side. The service was really slow. They could've served us faster and at the same time. The ambiance is very confusing. Inside the restaurant looks upscale and could be fancy. The attire is very casual and there's a big tv with UFC playing.. I am confused. I feel like something doesn't belong in there... especially with the price of food as well. I don't think I'd come here again.
Really good experience! Wait staff are friendly and attentive. Food was really good. The hushpuppies were the best I've had. Soft on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. Oysters, deviled eggs (can get without bacon on the top as well), pickle dip (need more chips cause there's a lot of dip) was all great! The kettle turkey, fries, and cucumber salad is totally get again. Drinks fun and refreshing as well. Keep in mind there may be a bit of a walk cause parking is a little bit away but doable. Beautiful scenery as well.
Normally I don't yelp about places on a holiday bc they are overwhelmed and not at "perk" performance. Not here. MoMo was fantastic and completely on point. Perfect place to spend Mother's Day. Friendly staff, amazing cocktails and delicious food. Gorgeous view. Come early for a riverfront stroll or burn off the calories after. Ample parking, kid friendly.
Hosted a work meeting at this nice spot in North Charleston. My group really loves the ambience and decor and the setup of the dining area which really allowed for great group conversation. The menu wasn't very expansive, but everything that we ordered was fantastic. The highlight of this spot was its selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. The view of the water is quite nice as well--which complements the wonderful service we had. The only downside to this place is the time and effort it takes to get there from downtown Charleston. Overall a great experience and will definitely revisit. (Bonus--visit the Smithey Ironworks store next door to see some of the nicest American-made cookware available today.

After experiencing more of the menu, I have to say that if you still haven't been to MOMO, you're missing out. For appetizers, oysters are always great, but if you don't like shellfish or want something different, try the dill dip or the deviled eggs... both are excellent and great for sharing. When it comes to entree's I've had a handful and the cacio e pepe is probably my favorite, but I had the blue cheese burger with truffle fries the other night and it was so good. And this isn't a place to skip dessert... the chocolate budino and creme brulee were both top notch. The service is always great and especially at my birthday dinner with a small group. Outside on the patio they have fans to keep the bugs away and little table lamps for the perfect nighttime ambiance. Located right on the water, you can't get a better scenic dining spot in North Charleston.

The Old School Baby Wedge was fresh and flavorful with bacon, tomato, gorgonzola, and green goddess dressing. And the cocktails? Absolutely top tier--balanced, creative, and worth the visit on their own. Between the drinks, the space, and the friendly service, I'll be back to explore more of the menu.
Wasn't good or bad, not a place I would be running back to. Hostess was friendly and waitress was exceptional...extremely personable. Drinks were really good. I had the Indigo Butterfly and my friend the Amalfi Summer. Ordered the brussel sprout starter. Great portion size. Really delicious. The rest of the menu was a bit of a disappointment. Nothing was a stand out and kind of all over the place. I had the Momo Burger - it was good. Not memorable. Upgraded to the truffle fries and they were... fries. With grated parm... odd. Unexpected. My friend went with the kettle cooked turkey. Said it was also good. As someone who likes to check out the local restaurant scene, I'm not sure I'd return or recommend. It's... fine. Good. Not exceptional for the area.

We just fell in love...with MOMO! The outdoor setting was fantastic looking out onto the Cooper River and the Naval memorial park. Only had the hush puppies and oyster sliders, but they were excellent. Had a local craft beer and a prosecco. Highly recommend you stop in. Won't be disappointed. The stars may have been aligned just right. We were coming back from MB around 1pm on a Wednesday heading to the airport but we wanted to get one last hang by the water before leaving. Perfect timing. Table in the shade looking out over the park and river with a cool breeze. Sam, our server, was awesome and everyone had a great spirit. Overall, felt like a hidden gem, hidden in a heavy industrial area. and we were lucky to find it.

Momo Riverfront was the first stop on the Over the Bridge Food Tour's Navy Yard Noisette Stroll, which is fitting because they've been here since 2020 and were one of the first business owners to set up shop on the Navy Yard after the Navy Yard shut down in 1996. The seafood-forward menu, tasty cocktails, and lowcountry favorites have always made it a go-to to bring friends from out of town and catch a lunch outside overlooking the Cooper River. Guests enjoyed jumbo shrimp cocktail, hushpuppies with honey butter, flavor-packed smoked chicken thighs, and crisp & fresh cucumber tomato salad. Drinks like the Last Melon make it go down extra smooth (La Gritona Reposado, Aperol, Watermelon-Basil Syrup, Lime). For the gluten free guests, chef's selection of oysters on the half shell, jumbo shrimp cocktail, and white cheddar pimiento cheese/bacon/chives deviled eggs, along with the gluten-free, crisp Aval Cider. The service is always impeccable and personable. Whether inside or outside, they do a great job ensuring everyone is taken care of. Been trying to get out here for a few MK the and glad I did! Ate outside in this perfect weather and glad I did. Servers were all attentive without being annoying. Started with a seafood tower with ceviche, smoked whitefish, oysters on the half shell, and shrimp (which were massive and perfectly cooked). All was outstanding. I had the cacio e pepe with shrimp which was also very good. Crème brûlée was the perfect dessert, smooth and creamy and the crust was caramelized really nicely, it had a few spots that were almost burnt which gave it a great flavor. In Charleston for work, and my coworker suggested we go here for lunch. They raved about the delicious food and beautiful view, and they were absolutely correct! We started off with the crab dip and deviled eggs. Both were great starters. The standout dish for me was the Momo Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly. Not as greasy as burgers at other places. And tasted fresh. The truffle fries had the perfect amount of crispiness and salt. Service was another strong point. Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. If I lived in Charleston and had guests in town, this is where I would bring them to show off the beauty of the city. What a delightful restaurant! I'm tempted to not advertise it, since it's such a quiet peaceful place. Once it's discovered, that may change. Delicious food, great service, wonderful ambiance...indoor and outdoor seating. Views of the rivers...near the waterfront park. Great sandwiches. read more
Great restaurant and unique location. This restaurant is located in the Riverfront Park and I believe the only restaurant in the park and honestly nearby. The menu is limited so look before you go. They have a great outdoor seating set up. Even in the fall they provide blankets if it's chilly. I've been here 3 times now and each time I've had a great experience. The price is a little high, so I wouldn't consider this an 'everyday' restaurant. Their carafe of mimosas is great at brunch. Service is professional and prompt. I'd encourage everyone to give MOMO a try. read more

This area is really nice. On the water with good views and a great family atmosphere. It's located on the old Charleston Naval base grounds. Food was really good. I had the Steak and Frites and it was excellent. Cocktails were overpriced, but everything else made up for it. Service was good and the bathroom was clean. read more

Enjoyed brunch @momoriverfrontpark We enjoyed their hushpuppies, chicken sandwich with truffle fries and shrimp and grits. The hushpuppies were our favorite. The chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious. The shrimp and grits were good. The gravy was different but good. Our first time trying shrimp and grits with pulled pork. It was good. Give this place a try. Make a reservation because it is small. They do offer outdoor seating. MOMO is a lovely casual lunch/dinner spot. It has beautiful surroundings, right alongside the riverfront park. Service was consistently attentive. We really enjoyed the hush puppies. The fried chicken sandwich and cacio e Pepe were also tasty. Will be coming back most for the ambiance! read more

This was an unexpected find while we were exploring the Park Circle area. The service was top notch. Oysters on the half shell and hush puppies for appetizers were superb. I had the bees knees cocktail and my husband and daughter had Bloody Marys. Both were very good. Highly recommend read more

This place was so good. We went in February and had to sit on the patio. It was cold but those heater were fantastic. The food was very good and fast. And our server was so precious. Would definitely go back! And if you're in this area, highly recommended to go! read more

Momo is a hidden gem! My husband and I took our 4 daughters for Sunday brunch and it was a great experience- beautiful interior, friendly staff, good menu choice, good service, great view! My only 2 complains are the tea was weak and they didn't have honey mustard for their delicious fries.... And with how good the food was, I know the chef can make a mean homemade honey mustard! A perfect space for the best snack lunch I've had in a while! The Riverfront provides a beautiful focus for meals inside or outside! It was a stunning day so we took advantage of the patio. We decided to just order appetizers and drinks for a late lunch before a tour downtown. Every single thing was spectacular. The deviled eggs are creamy and flavorful, the brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked with a welcomed sweetness and the oyster sliders were a delight. But to be honest the dill pickle dip stole the show. I would literally put it on a blade of grass and eat it! It is so good I appreciate that they are serving alcohol alternatives! We tried the High Tide and the Trail Magic. Both weren't very tasty! I can't wait to come back with my husband on our next trip! Thank you Momo!! read more
Hmmm. Has been on the list for some time. The grounds and restaurant are beautiful and serene. Service was wonderful. The food is just not it. Oysters great. Wedge salad was fine though no fresh cracked pepper available. They brought the tiniest, sad pepper shaker when asked. The shrimp and grits were not enjoyable. This should be a stand out dish anywhere local. I thought the pulled pork would be a nice twist. The grits were flavorless, the gravy kind of like it came out of a can, and then they topped with dill which didn't jive at all. Nice view and drink selection but the food is mid, in my opinion. Too many great options in the area for locals to do this again. read more

I've been to MOMO quite a few times and I've never been disappointed. The food is always outstanding, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is welcoming. I've sat outside, inside downstairs and inside upstairs. There's no bad spot to enjoy the meal. I will always recommend the steak frites for dinner or steak and eggs for brunch. My absolute favorite! Their hush puppies are some of the best in Charleston and I'll stand by that forever. That flavor is perfection and they're always cooked beautifully. Their cocktails are always so delicious and plenty strong. I'm currently very into their apple pie drink for the fall. Get yourself over there ASAP! read more
