No complaints there! Brown Fox is more of an order-at-the-window kind of place, so don't expect to hang out inside. There isn't any indoor seating but there are outdoor tables if you'd like to enjoy your drink on-site. I also loved the mural on the side of the building, it added a fun pop of color and character to an already cute little coffee shop. Parking was easy thanks to the decent-sized lot, service was friendly, and everything moved quickly.

I picked up my coffee this morning and Gordon had a hand written sign saying good bye. I knew it was too good to be here forever. Someone as talented and dedicated to excellence as Gordon is would naturally need to roll once he had perfected his vision. Which he has. I will miss the perfect cup of coffee right outside my office. I am also happy for him to have the courage to make this move. Wherever it takes him, I know it will be grown with purity of intention.

Sometimes I will bring a coffee to my husband, who works at the medical hospital as a nurse, as a midday pick me up. He loves this! He'd never been a fan of Vietnamese iced coffee, but he likes this version of the classic drink because it doesn't use condensed milk. Fun fact: there is also a vegan version! The icing on the cake of this food truck is that the owner is so nice, and consistently delivers great service and really, simply great coffee at a totally reasonable price.

I watched them pull espresso shots, leave them sitting, then head to the back and suddenly my drinks appeared. When I asked about it, I was told the espresso was "pre-pulled and chilled." Meanwhile, the shots I originally saw pulled sat untouched at the machine for about two minutes (100% expired at that point). It was a confusing process and honestly, pre-pulled espresso just doesn't taste fresh. As for the drinks themselves, they were overly sweet. The vanilla latte had an odd banana flavor, and the Purple Haze tasted chemical (ironically). Overall, I won't be back for drinks. It looks like a they paid a cleaner to remove all vestiges of life while only leaving a spec here or there to meet a quote. Ok, enough with aesthetics as I've complained enough, The staff is quick to help out and offer good suggestions when they're asked. Being a former comedian, I tried to whip up some jokes to compensate for my utter boredom, the ladies were nice enough to laugh. Needless to say, the women here had a heart. They made good suggestions but I was curious why their pastry display only had like a handful of items, did they make them or get them from the grocery store? I don't know but I was only here for coffee. I did like some of the creativity - a banana creampie latte - sounds like something.... Nevermind but all props for creativity. Birthday cake latte didn't sound good for the waistline but another attempt at creativity - I love it! But I opted to go for my own flavor. A lack of options for addins, I mean literally no hazelnut, almond etc. Well, I did the best I could - Latte with 2 shots caramel and 1 vanilla. I can honestly say it was "mid" at best. The roast didn't resonate while the lack of options made it feel so generic like I couldn't play the part of an evil scientist mixing a crazy concoction. But it beats McDonalds. Oh, they do have "the world's best granola" which I made several jokes about, even encouraging other customers by saying "if you were in France and ordered granola, they would talk about Summit's granola, after all it's the world's best!" Yes, I was being the overfriendly annoying customer, b/c I was bored. At least there were some laughs. Sadly, there's nothing about Summit that stands out. I hate saying that for local businesses but I want to be authentic. Stop by if .... Well, I'm not sure why so just stop by, I guess.
