While we were in the mood for lunch, our breakfast items were soooo good. I am very picky with eating breakfast at lunch spots cuz they can easily be a miss, but this place hit the spot and then some. I ordered their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese roll and it was gooey, hot, and delicious. My husband ordered their breakfast burrito and ate every bite. Beware that it comes with jalapeños! The nice lady taking our order recommended their Hangover sandwich but I am not a big fan of hash-browns in my sandwiches but my husband's burrito was super similar to it. Seems like a family business. There is no dine-in seating inside, and there are a couple benches and chairs but no tables outside the storefront either, so plan to do take-out. Super small and humble spot, very clean and our meal with two drinks and two entrees was $28.50, abt 8.50 per entree and drinks were $3 each. We can't wait to be back for lunch!!

The prices are also super reasonable, which makes it even better. I've tried the carnitas, shrimp, asada, and the queso. The shrimp taco is hands-down my favorite--so flavorful and perfectly cooked! If I had to pick one thing to skip, it would be the queso. It just didn't hit the mark for me. Overall, this is an easy, tasty go-to spot that I'll definitely keep coming back to!

From the moment we approached the truck, the smell was intoxicating--spices, smoky meats, and fresh ingredients. The menu had a fantastic variety of tacos, burritos, tortas, and quesadillas, and everything sounded mouthwatering. My husband decided to go with the carne asada burrito, and let me tell you, they didn't t disappoint him...He said that the asada was perfectly seasoned and the meat was tender and juicy. I ordered the veggie burrito with fries. Both were absolutely tasty, fresh and not greasy at all. We will definitely be back for more next time we stay in Mount Pleasant. If you're craving authentic Mexican street food, Cachita's Kitchen is an absolute must-try! Highly recommend! My only regret was not taking any pictures! We couldn't wait a second longer to taste our delicious food! TIP: CALL BEFORE ARRIVING TO THIS ADDRESS. He does switch spots. He will respond or text you back with the address.

As the food finished up, the gentleman let me know that he added an extra shrimp taco to the order at no extra charge. Who am I to complain when an extra shrimp taco is tossed into the mix? The tacos were amazing. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and grilled. The pico had a little kick to it, which I enjoyed, but my daughter did not. More for me. With food trucks, it's all about timing. Order early, or order later, but if you order at the peak time, expect to wait a little bit. It's worth it!

I am a strong cilantro hater. For some reason, in the many many years of my life, cilantro has always tasted terrible to me. I asked if I could have it without, but they said it was their pico de gallo that contained the cilantro. I was about to change my mind until they said they would prepare fresh pico for me without the cilantro. This was YUGE to me. As a customer with a super specific hatred for this herb, only about 14% of the population(Scotti, Ariel 2) , they accommodated my stupid request and made this specific order for me and for that I am truly forever appreciative. Very delicious tacos; would buy from them again 10/10. Their fries were very crisp and seasoned quite well. My friends devoured most of the fries before I could become Hedonism bot from Futurama. Frank and I are grateful to have had Chef Chris cater our wedding reception in September of 2018…read more Since we live in Virginia and were unable to fly down to Charleston for tastings, we reached out to Chef Chris based on his online reviews. Thank goodness for the reviews! They were on point. Chef Chris was extremely professional and his food was amazing. Not only did Chef Chris provide the catering, but he also was the point person for my table, chairs, and linen rental and the bar service. Having Chef Chris as the point person was a life saver, giving me a single point of contact for multiple moving parts! Our wedding reception was held at out of town and very casual yacht club. It was a bit of a schlep from Charleston (about a 40 minute drive) and didn't have a freezer. Chef Chris brought *everything* he needed, including an ingenious way to keep ice cream without a freezer on site (not sure how he did it, but I assume I would have been impressed). His staff was terrific and multiple guests said the bar service staff was also wonderful. The food was perfect! We had the low-country boil and it was AMAZING! The shrimp were HUGE and the corn was crisp, potatoes were perfect, and the sausage was bursting. We also had pulled pork on soft buns, as well as salad and green beans. No wedding cake - we went with apple cobbler. All my guests commented on the food, during and after the wedding reception. Serving large groups is always a challenge, but Chef Chris made it seamless and so flavorful! Frank and I strongly recommend booking Chef Chris! He is wonderful to work with and delivers amazing food and service. Good luck!
