I have stopped in several times before work - whether it's breakfast or caffeine, it's a nice option if you're in the area. The space it cute, with local items for purchase in addition the the food/drinks. They have plenty of seating. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and everything looks so good, it's hard not to want to buy 1 of everything. The servers are always friendly & I notice that they have a lot of regulars that they seem to have established rapport with, which is nice to see. Definitely worth a vist!

    Amazing pastries!

This is the best bakery I've been to in this area! Today I loaded up on treats for the holiday weekend. Caramel apple turnovers, chocolate croissants, chocolate cream pie and Key-lime pie. The selection is amazing and the staff are kind, helpful and efficient. The shop has cozy seating if you want to order in. They also have coolers with take and bake items.

the key lime pie and cheesecake were phenomenal.

Went here with my daughter as a special morning adventure and it was so yummy. We shared a bit of everything we got, a key lime pie, a cheesecake (both smaller versions obviously) and they were phenomenal. The service is quick and easy. It's a cute little place and I'm so glad they are here in West Ashley!

Wow! I've been told many times to come here and we finally did! And now i regret not making it here sooner! What a Gem of a place! Everything you could want in a little cafe! Coffee and other fun drinks, sweet and savory pastries. Brunch and lunch options! Yummy sourdough pizza, delicious desserts for there and to take to parties! A fun kids area, toys, a high chair, couch seating and tables! Perfect lunch spot and place for a mom's morning out or day out with kiddos! Can't wait to come back and try more! Definitely give this place a try!

Stopped by Wildflour while in the area, it was a pleasant surprise to see it here and open. I had a latte and a raspberry pistachio croissant. The latte was a typical non-franchise latte; not super sweet or overly creamy, smooth and mature flavor profile. The croissant was a real treat, I have never even seen such a pastry, but it had a nice "shell" and the raspberry jam or preserves inside were perfectly complimented by the pistachios. They had a good assortment of pies, muffins, and cookies there, all reasonably priced, as well as a good menu. Next time I am in the area - and I am there every weekend - I will try to grab a breakfast sandwich. J.Ja

I was looking for an apple pie for a bff birthday. I called Wildflower on Saturday. They offered to make one and have available on Sunday. By bff was pleasantly surprised. The pie was amazing. Apples were perfectly cooked, soft by not soggy. The strudel topping with pecans was an added plus. Truly one of the best Apple pies I have ever eaten. Highly recommended

HIGHLY recommend! I had high expectations based on reviews, but Wildflour actually exceeded them. We got the pesto mozzarella scone, almond raspberry tart, and sweet potato apple coffeecake. The almond raspberry tart was probably our favorite but they were all delicious and I would get all of them again. There were some tables inside and outside and they have water as well as bathrooms. I can't wait to go back!

First time at Wildflour Pastry and I loved it! Their cases are stocked full of delicious looking sweet and savory pastries. The cashier was extremely friendly and helped me pick out a couple of goodies. I got the mini key lime pie and bacon tomato pie. The key lime pie was so silky and tart, with a crunchy, buttery crust. Delicious and definitely a go-to if you like key lime! I got the bacon tomato pie cold and reheated it at home. The crust was flaky and buttery with a rich bacon flavor. Delicious and filling - great for breakfast at home. Delicious pastries - I can't wait to come back and try more!

    Pistachio pizza and pepperoni pizza

Their new lunch pizzas are to die for! We got a pepperoni and the pistachio pesto with ham. Both crisp and flavorful. I always love their pastries and coffee but the extended menu is a welcome addition!

Their new savory menu is wonderful and so freshly made. Additional seating has been added. Coffee is the best deal West Ashley. The owner has done an amazing job growing her small business.

Gingerbread cookie..too much sugar on top
    Wanda G.

First time in. They had a large variety of muffins, cookies, pies and pastries. I was greeted immediately. Lots of seating. Kind of a funky little place. I ended up getting a delicious key lime pie. Also got a gingerbread cookie which I loved the frosting but all the sprinkled sugar was overpowering. It would have been perfect without the extra sugar.

Quiche in miniature sizes - perfect to sample each flavor. Fantastic!

Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately but it was very close quarters with surrounding tables. The menu is vast with different dessert options. If you want to know what cakes are available, you should check out the display stand right when you enter. Since we were there 2.5 hours before closing, there didn't seem to be a lot of cake options available, but my husband and I decided to share a slice of the s'mores cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to make it à la mode. The s'mores cake was a chocolate cake with mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, graham crackers, and more marshmallows. The cake was good and had everything I could ever want in it, but it was a little dry. I think this also had to do with it being the end of the night. The ice cream complemented the flavor well. It would have been better with a second scoop of ice cream though. Service was great! It took about 10 minutes from when we ordered to get our dessert. I would probably come back here again, but not so late at night so there would be fresher cake with more options available.

We waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be acknowledged while two employees stood nearby. The two layer chocolate caramel pecan cake, which our waitress initially could not find, was dry and tasted stale. I would not order it again. The Tollhouse pie was a bit better, but the presentation and the whipped cream were the standouts, and the whipped cream wasn't even homemade! That's the best thing I could say about our experience. The food, pricing, service, and ambiance all fell below average. When you are located downtown with so many great dessert options around, you really need to step up your game. We will not be returning.

We set a pickup time and I went to grab them just before my event. Christen had them ready and greeted me at the door. She actually does all the baking off site at a commercial kitchen and then offers pickup from her beautiful home downtown. I love this old school way of doing business and it adds a personal touch. Now for the cakes! Everyone was raving about them and asking where they came from... even people who said they don't even like chocolate cake (weirdos if you ask me). I lucked out because my guests had restraint and didn't devour every last mini cupcake so I took home about a dozen of them and enjoyed all of them with zero judgement from the party goers. I can't wait to try a whole cake from this place... it's gonna be amazing.

When I first entered I told her I had made the mistake of choosing "outdoor patio" for our reservation (90% humidity) which she told me "not problem, we went ahead and got you an indoor table", AMAZING. My husband got the Coastal Cola (like drinking a Coca Cola while eating boiled peanuts...really, and it's amazing). For dinner we split the following Tier 1 Tower - The oysters were fresh, the smoked amberjack pate was clean and filling, and the peel and eat shrimp were flavorful. For my husband's second beverage he ordered a "Loaded Hamms" (not on the menu but they'll know) with their homemade hot sauce. Smoked Bird Island Oysters - OMG it was so simple yet so flavorful and fresh. They make their own hot sauce which is very flavorful with a touch of spice. We loved it. Charcoal Grilled Royal Reds - The eggplant puree with like a Baba ghanoush but with a little more flavor and pizazz. The shrimps were so tender and again flavorful. The ambiance is nice without being too formal but also feeling like you're enjoying a nice meal. We had a wide array of items which included their caviar service, fresh oysters, crab claws and some appetizers including their fried oyster slider and a unique oyster appetizer. All of these were DELICIOUS! Their caviar service was one of the best I've seen, the oyster slider was delicious and my only complaint is that the oyster itself was small. The oyster appetizer was unique but had great flavor with the old bay seasoned crackers. For entrees I had the cornmeal friend fish. It was a great size price of fish, came out hot and fresh and fried to perfection. It does come on a bed of cream corn, but there were no real side dishes you could add or order. So it was filling, but not as hearty as other meals. I also asked for a sauce to accompany the fish just to break up the taste and texture a bit void of a true side. For dinks we had one off menu and I had them make a traditional whisky sour. Both good. This place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. I would make it a stop on my next visit.

Honestly though, since they were closing and still accommodated us, we were just grateful they made them at all. If it had been mentioned that they'd be quick, simplified versions due to closing, we would've completely understood -- just something small for expectation-setting. Now let's talk about the coconut cake -- absolutely amazing. It's $17 for a slice, but the portion is HUGE. Easily shareable, and we still had to take some to-go. Super moist, flavorful, and worth every bite if you're a coconut fan. Also worth noting: the outdoor patio is pet-friendly, which is always a big plus for us. The first meal we had was a bit of a work/get together meal. We ordered an assortment of items off of the menu and created a more tapas menu. The charcuterie board we picked the cheeses for and it was lovely. All as expected and quite surprised to find a cheddar I enjoyed. Came with some grapes, figs, nuts, honey and I think mustard. Glazed carrots were phenomenal. Heartily enjoyed the beet salad and thought the presentation was quite pretty. Lamb lettuce wraps are alright. Not my favorite of all the dishes served but delivered as promised, nicely cooked and presented. Spouse really liked the lamb wraps and were a stand out dish to them. Meatballs are excellent truly great texture and flavor. Escargot was a fun take on a classic dish. Finished with a unique strudel in its presentation it was quite pleasant. Spouse liked the peanut butter chocolate dessert. For brunch, I had the carrot ginger soup. Which I must say was a total delight. The soup had the hallmark texture and base flavor of the carrot ginger but it had a beautiful breath of savory and some heat seasoning wise to it. It was quite an elevated soup and heartily enjoyed! I followed the carrot soup with a French toast. I am all for softly scrambled eggs but the French toast was a touch undercooked. (I did not let the restaurant know or give them the chance to make right. I regularly eat soft boiled eggs and soft scrambled so I felt comfortable with consuming them.) Strawberries were ripe and tasty. The whipped cream was gorgeous in thickness and flavor. One in law had the caesar salad with croutons and grilled chicken. Their bowl was left clean so while they are not the talkative of sorts they did seem to enjoy it. Ordered a baguette with butter. Unfortunately the butter never made it to the table but the baguette was enjoyed. Spouse had the Azur burger with the side of tapas style potatoes. All was cooked properly to temperature and texture. Flavor and taste as promised. Wasn't their favorite dish at Azur as we had tried so many lovely dishes a few evenings before. But it did deliver on what was represented in the menu. Other in law had the quiche and a side salad. They liked the quiche and would order it again.
