I got a chance to try out this place for the first time this weekend and it was so much fun! Joel Corry was playing and he definitely got the crowd moving. They were quick with checking in, so no long line to enter. They had different drink and food options. I didn't try them since we already did all that beforehand. The line to the bathroom was a bit long and blending into the dance floor but it did move fast. Loved that it was 21+. Everyone had space to dance. Luckily no pushing or shoving. Will definitely return back to check out other events! read more

Went for tequila and tacos. Had tacos and soup from Tabu, which were amazing. The service was impeccable, and I would highly recommend getting tacos from that tent. There were numerous other tents also serving tacos, and a burger stand that was not open. The space is great for large crowds, watch parties, and birthday celebrations. The weather was a bit cool since it's fall, but I will definitely come back in the summer. read more

Came to BK Backyard Bar this past weekend for a Joel Corry show. I'm not usually that big on house music but the vibe was pretty chill all around. It was a pretty interesting outdoor venue, with tons of different areas to hang and vibe out in. The bathroom line was the one downer but it moved fairly fast for how long it was. I see that they also have "beach" volleyball throughout the year so I'll definitely be back for that in the near future! read more

I'm not sure why yelp says its closed but I was just here last night for a friend's birthday. It's in a little nook of williamsburg that I don't usually go to, its off the beaten path. But I really like how there's a ton of picnic tables so great for large groups. There's also a few food vendors, a bunch of TVs playing sports and lawn games read more

As we were wandering around Williamsburg, we happily stumbled into this fun, outdoor space. After a quick ID check, we headed over to the bar for some drinks. The highball is basically a well drink with mixer for $14 each. I got a whiskey with gingerale, which is usually my go-to. The bartender also gave a shot of the Devil's Backyard Frozen Margarita to try, which had a nice kick of spice. With a drink in hand, we decided to play some corn hole. What I love about this place is all the games and activity they offer from corn hole to ball pong to volleyball, and giant jenga. It's perfect for parties and groups to hang out here. Plus, there's also a food truck if you're getting hungry. This is such a fun spot for the community that feels like you're literally in a friend's backyard. read more

Stopped by here for some quick drinks while out with friends, and it was a lively, fun stop. Set up outside, there's plenty of picnic tables to sit at with a bar as well as a food stand. Weather was nice, so perfect for sitting outside. It was definitely busy while we were there, had to wait in line a bit to get our drinks, but it wasn't that bad of a wait. It was early afternoon when we were there, but I can only imagine how busy it gets later in the evening. Great music playing, and they also have some games set up for people to play. There were no big sports games on that day, but I'd imagine this would be a great place to watch a game. Bartenders are great, and they work through the line well. Great place to watch a Knicks playoff game on a warm evening! I definitely suggest making a reservation just because I have been here for games that have been completely packed, but they've expanded with a lot more tables and TVs so I like your chances of just walking in as well. There was no food on the Monday night I went but pretty sure they have a taco truck on busier nights (maybe Thursday-Sunday?) and I remember the food being really good. We were watching this spot from the top of the William vale hotel/westlight and there was a whole lot of vibes in here! We saw people jumping double Dutch, shooting basketball, and just dancing having a ball! After we left westlight we decided to stop by to see what was happening inside and we weren't disappointed! The security at the gate was so friendly and welcoming (Chrissy I believe her name was)! They have a bunch of different games like giant connect four, which we indulged in. The music was great and everyone was just dancing and having a GRAND OL TIME! We stayed for just about an hour as I had to head to work but we have definitely added this spot to our list so we can go back and get the full experience! read more

What happened to this place? It used to be Tailgate, the go-to for a great game day vibe, buzzing with college football fans and Barstool employees. The bar now seems to be a showcase for a DJ, replaying the same tracks as whoever performed most recently at Forest Hills Stadium or Brooklyn Mirage with minimal service. When I arrived, there was no hostess stand, and I had to track someone down just to check in--a frustrating setback that took about 10 minutes to resolve. I'd booked a shipping container with a private TV, but they first tried to seat me at a regular table. After minimal pushback, we were seated at a table with spotty TV signal, and we waited another 10 minutes to move to a table with a functioning TV. They've also scrapped the convenient table service and QR code ordering, forcing everyone to line up at a single bartender, where a 20% gratuity is automatically added for drinks that are already on the expensive side and are primarily canned. Really disappointing to see how far this place has fallen. I miss the old days and doubt I'll come back. read more

Such a scam. They advertise cocktails as $12, we got 2 and ended up paying $36. They told me after the fact that they add tax and auto gratuity and I ended up tipping extra thinking it was a normal tip. Then when I asked he gaslit me into telling me he had "warned me" about the extra charges LOL he said "anything extra would be appreciated" which to me meant "hey please tip me" so I did. Considering I paid $14 for a beautiful rooftop cocktail across the street and didn't get scammed into paying $36 for 2 watered down drinks I will definitely stick to the drink with a view not this BS place that tricks you into spending your hard earned dollars and tipping extra to people who did nothing but dis-service you read more

We stumbled in randomly & Chris ( manager / bartender) gave us a mini tour & an overview of the location amenities.I really appreciated this, as new- comer from the Bronx (BX Stand UP). After being denied entry at a nearby hotel for a dress code faux pas, I stumbled on this lovely spot for a few drinks with my friends on our night out. Great outdoor vibes with games like corn hole, volleyball, and a scaled-up beer pong available. Plenty of outdoor seating. The Moscow Mule was really good and the bartenders were really friendly. We went back to the bartender with the pony tail and he said "20% gratuity automatically added... I told you before we ordered" this was absolutely not true. All the waiters and waitresses were super drunk. We asked for the check and they said they would bring it, then waited 30 minutes and had to go to the bar to actually close out. Our waitress couldn't even comprehend our requests she was so drunk. I don't even know what to say, it was somewhat shocking. The music was way too loud and there was no game sound, so if you are going to watch the game would not suggest. There is no food, you must go outside the bar to the food trucks and wait there. Would strongly suggest going to other places nearby for watching games (Kent Ale) or really anywhere if you are trying to get a drink. Update: They charged our card twice as well. Forgot to mention they said it was $150 minimum per table, and we were going to leave so they changed it to one drink per person? read more
