It has been a while since our last visit. The service was better this round. We arrived Thursday at 6pm with reservations and were seated right away with 4 people. The restaurant was not very busy and quiet at this time. We ordered drinks and appetizer the pot stickers, they were just average. Next, I ordered the cheese burger with fries, she had the cherry chipoltle salmon. Both entrees were very tasty. We finished off with the strawberry short cake pizzookie, well this was a large dessert and so good. I am happy the service was better this visit. We will be back. read more

I have been to BJ's quite a few times living in Mobile, Alabama and ever since they opened it it's been a nice restaurant. I've enjoyed it, but this past visit was awesome. We sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer. The appetizer was beyond what I thought it would be, the chicken was very large, the cheese sticks were large and delicious. In fact everything on that sampler platter was delicious. We had talked about having dinner, but we were so full after that appetizer that we had had enough. The bartenders were extremely friendly and very attentive. I never needed a thing sitting at that bar. I wish I could remember the bartender's names but we had gotten there at little after four and I think the new staff comes in at 4:30 so we had both bartenders for a bit. read more

We went yesterday evening around 7pm. We were going specifically for the Prime Rib special. When we were seated, I ordered my drink & an appetizer. The waitress mentioned another appetizer & I let her know we were about to eat prime rib. She checked on her IPad & turns out they were out. We then tell her we need a few more minutes while still waiting on our appetizer. When she comes back to check on us, we tell her we want the bone-in pork chop. Turns out they were out of that. I just do not understand how you can be out of both weekend specials especially on Father's Day weekend. Okay... so we went to BJs last Friday for dinner, and I have got to tell you... we had the very best experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Dania, who was super friendly! We were part of a larger group, but we were sooooo lucky to be seated in Madison's part of the section. To say she is one of the greatest, and most friendly server we have ever had at a restaurant at any price point would be an understatement! She made us feel like we were guests in her home. She was super knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, and above all kind! We were celebrating a family member's accomplishment that night, and everything turned out just perfect! The food was wonderful... and their Monday-Friday dinner specials, happy hour specials, and their loyalty programs are all super! Save room for dessert... specifically the pizookie... a fresh baked cookie topped with ice cream and other yumminess is worth the calories too! Tonight we went to BJ's in Mobile at 3748 Airport Blvd. We had to wait until the person checking people in say give me just a minute........ He grabs a rag off thee cheek in computer and went off to clean the table, a feed seconds later comes back and grabs another rag, maybe to dry the table off. Then he comes back and grabs the menus and takes us to our table. It was not too long and the waiter came. A very good young man, took our drink orders. Brought the drinks back and asked if we were ready to place our order, we saiid no. He comes back and takes my daughters order, the she took my wife's order. Now it was my turn, I ordered the prime rimb.... He said I am sorry it is all gone, it was 5:29.... He said let me check. Off to the kitchen . When her comes back he said they had nine left. I told him I would like it med. I wanted a baked potato...... He went off to place our order... He comes running back to our table.... Bake potatoes would be a 30 minute wait, I said OK. My daughter told him I did not cheese. It was about 20 minutes he comes with our orders, not my potato. He stop back wanted to know how things were and told me my potato would be out soon. About 35 minutes later I get my potato, with cheese, bacon no butter, no sour cream. After a few minutes I see our waiter and flag him down. I tell him I would like some butter and sour cream. 10 minutes later he brings the sour cream and butter. My daughter got hime before he left again and asked for the check. Now in his defense it was busy. BUT do these people ever get trained? Hang on for a couple of minutes. My prime rib was the very worst I have EVER had. It was very tough, no tasted, I had a little dish of ajus, it was a little mini dish of just plain pure grease , no color, bit did not try. and $35.00 and no I did not send its back. Showed up as walk ins on a Saturday for lunch with our soccer team--a total of about 50 people. We were given an area of the restaurant for our group and 5 servers to handle us all. The servers did amazing keeping everyone's orders organized and making sure we had everything we needed. Food came out quickly and was delicious. On top of everything, we needed to be in and out in a little over an hour. They handled our group the best I've ever experienced for such a large group. I love this place! Convenient to the hotel on Airport Boulevard, huge selection of craft, beers, and every other beer you want and a great bar. Nice atmosphere, upscale, the menu is unbelievably diverse with pizza, specialty chicken, wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches, Aji tuna gluten-free, sugar-free fat-free whatever you want. Service is spectacular at the bar as I'm sure it is at the tables, very attentive very knowledgeable. I wish I had one near me in Atlanta. I come here once a month to Mobile and I probably eat here twice a week even if I'm just stopping by for a beer on the way to dinner somewhere else with colleagues. The staff again is very good, price points are a tad above based on the atmosphere, which is fine and the food is delicious! I'll just say highly recommend! Il Come here! Apparently many good places to eat on a Fall Saturday night close early. We arrived at BJ's around 10pm this Saturday. Thankfully they closed at midnight. Located right off Airport Blvd, BJ takes up a huge footprint. It's a large building with plenty of parking especially that late in the evening. There was also no waiting which surprised me since the University of South Alabama just won a sold out home game tonight. The first thing that surprised me was the old time rotating entrance you find at department stores and airports. You don't typically see them at a restaurant or brewhouse. We were warmly greeted and in just a few minutes were shown to one of their spacious booths. BJ's interior is impressive. There are large screen tvs all around with tables and booths scattered throughout. The very tall open ceilings create a massive but inviting atmosphere. Our server Lamond arrived and took our drink orders. To say their menu is extensive would be an understatement. It's available online but seeing it in person was impressive. There are options for pizza, wings, burgers, chicken, pasta, seafood and of course beer and alcohol. There was a solid array of appetizers and "small bites", but we started with the Avocado egg rolls and Honey sriracha brussel sprouts. The egg rolls were cut into six small bite size pieces. With a crispy fried skin, stuffed with avocado, cream cheese, tomatoes and chipotle peppers, they were a little different to eat at first because the "inside" is so soft, but they had good flavor. The brussel sprouts were nicely seasoned, grilled and drizzled with sriracha in a cream sauce. Yom Yom Yom Yom. I tried the Spicy chicken with soba noodles. The bite size pieces of breast meat mixed with the peanut sauce were flavorful, but the entire dish was not what I was expecting. It was oiler than I would've liked and the noodles and broccoli were overcooked. My extra side order of wedge salad was good. Rachel got the Asian chopped salad. There was a generous amount of fried wontons and sliced grilled chicken creating a nice presentation. She enjoyed the flavor and almost finished the entire bowl. Tammy ordered the Mediterranean chicken tacos. The two soft pita bread tacos were filled with seasoned grilled chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, drizzled with red wine vinaigrette and greek yogurt crema. Oh there was a lot of feta cheese! Tammy liked them. Matthew tried the Bacon guacamole deluxe burger with fries. He wasn't asked how to have his burger cooked and it arrived well done. Stacked between two buns were smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, onions, tomatoes, jalapenos and a generous helping of very delicious guacamole. It was so big, I helped Matthew eat a quarter of it. The fries literally just came out of the fryer and they almost melted in your mouth! Honestly some of the best fries I've ever had. Yom Yom Yom Yom. By this point, even though were were all stoofed, we all had to try their famous Pizookie! Tammy and Rachel chose the Salted caramel version. It arrived just like in the pictures in their menu. Two scoops of vanilla ice cream stacked on top of a warm, caramel cookie with sweet almond toffee, crunchy pretzel bites with dark chocolate chips and drizzled with of course, caramel sauce. Yom Yom Yom Yom! In Alabama, there is only one other BJ's in Huntsville and the good news is that it's closer to Birmingham than the one here in Mobile! Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll be one opening in Birmingham soon. read more

Spoke with the manager, said I wasn't interested in a half glass of beer, but really wanted a scoop of vanilla ice cream brought that AND a full beer. Made my evening!! I recently dined at the BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Mobile, AL, on Thursday, 2OCT2025, and I had a phenomenal experience. The atmosphere was electric due to playoff baseball being broadcasted on the TVs. As soon as the Cubs v. Padres game was finished, management made sure to switch to the Red Sox v. Yankees game. Along with playoff baseball, they had the wherewithal to play the Thursday Night Football game between the Rams and 49ers. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a young lady named Rose who was working very hard (she appeared to have multiple tables that she was conducting business with). After taking a seat at the bar, she introduced me to the gentleman who took care of me for the rest of the night, a young man named Michael. He was courteous and prompt with service with myself and the other patrons of the bar. I was amazed at how effective both of them were at their duties given the amount of traffic each had. Rose has previously waited on me and was exceptional that night as well. I am very impressed with everything BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse has to offer. The meal I ordered (the Classic Cheeseburger) was cooked exceptionally well, as well as the baked potato I ordered. Overall, I'd give BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse two thumbs up, 5 stars, etc. The restaurant is clean, orderly, and vibrant. The food was amazing, but what made my experience so extraordinary was the staff. I am thoroughly impressed by Rose. She might be the hardest worker at this location. She waited on me immediately after getting to the bar and started my night off right with an adult beverage then went back to her duties. Michael, the gentleman who took care of me for the majority of the night, was spectacular, too. Great place to eat, great place to enjoy a fine meal with family and loved ones, and great people working at the location, from the staff to the management. 10/10. read more

An amazing beer selection from local breweries, domestic and imports. They have a very extensive menu selection to choose from. Everyone was very happy with their food and beer choices. If I could give this zero stars I would. The service was absolutely horrible. Me and my boyfriend were there for a total of 2 hours. Once we ordered our food, we waited around 40 minutes for it to come out. Mind you, the place was not busy at all. When the lady brings our food, she decided to tell us that they were out of sirloin steak which is what my boyfriend ordered. So while I was eating we waited an additional 30-40 minutes for his food to come out. It was my first time going to BJ's, and I will never go back again. My pizza was full of sausage. I contacted the waitress and she apologized enough to make me another. I declined. Manager came over also apologize and I declined again just one of my check. First time I dined in here, it was amazing! Food and service was on point. About a year later, dined for a second time and had the absolute worst service I've ever had. Waited 45 minutes for our appetizer to come which was never put in and got lost. Entree after about an hour and came out with the wrong side. Waited another 15 minutes for the new entree to come out and the burger was cold. At this point, I was too hangry to wait any longer so I just gave up and ate the cold burger that I waited an hour 15 minutes to get in awe of how ridiculous this experience has been. After the past dine in experience, we were in the area and thought about putting in an online order in hopes of a good meal. Tri tips were overcooked and cold to top it off there were no utensils therefore I had to eat my cold meal with my hands. Not sure if this is just how this location is or the management but I don't think I will ever be coming back to this location or recommend anyone else either. read more

Been to several BJ's locations and this one is equally as nice inside as the others. On this visit I tried their "Classic" deep dish pizza tonight. To be clear, this is not like a Chicago deep dish pizza, but more like a Pizza Hut pan pizza except with even thicker dough. After 2 pieces I couldn't handle anymore of the excessive dough so I scraped off the toppings and finished the pizza in that manner. This pizza is really just a bunch of dough and not my preference (I'd give it a 2 star at very best) and at $16.99 for a small pizza it was way over-priced. BJ's has several draft beer offerings including their own line of brews. I only had some of BJ's own craft brews this visit in a flight and the star of the show was their seasonal Pumpkin Ale. read more

Atmosphere: BJ's had lots of screens and seating areas to watch sports with friends and family. The lighting at our table was a bit weird but other than that, we enjoyed the vibes at BJ's! Service: The service we received was quite slow. Our table only ordered an appetizer, entrees, and a dessert, but we were there for over 2 hours on a pretty mellow Friday night. Food: We ordered the Enlightened Spicy Peanut Chicken with Soba Noodles. The noodles were not spicy at all, but the sauce still had a good peanut flavor to it that coated the noodles. The dish was on the saltier side, which was surprising because it was on their "Enlightened" menu. For dessert, we ordered a pizookie trio with strawberry shortcake and 2 salted caramels. The strawberry shortcake pizookie was light and not too sweet, which we enjoyed. On the other hand, the salted caramel pizookie was extremely sweet to the point of our teeth hurting. Nevertheless, pizookies are always a great dessert to finish a meal with. Overall: BJ's is best known for their Pizookies and for a good reason. The food itself was not very exciting and took a long time to come out. We would really only come back for their dessert and maybe a drink to watch a game with friends. read more

BJ's is a great post-game, late night menu option for us. We like to throw different businesses in the mix when our "open late" options are slim, and we're often thankful for BJ's, their pizzas, and (good Lord) the PIZOOKIES! BJ's is clutch! My husband, daughter, and I came in lunch this past Saturday. Service started out good, but declined fast. We ordered regular drinks, and then ordered adult beverages when we got our appetizer. Apparently our server forgot about them because we ate the entire appetizer and then got our entrees and still no drinks from the bar. The server brought out the bar drinks for the table seated directly behind us so we stopped him and asked him to just remove them from our bill since we never got them. He said he would get them right away. At this point, we were nearly finished eating so we said no, just remove them. He brought them to us anyway, saying they were already made and since it was his mistake, he wasn't charging us for them. We could tell they had been sitting there the whole time. The ice was almost completely melted, so they tasted terrible and we didn't drink them. However, we were absolutely still charged for them. The server gave us a military discount instead. This is stupid, because neither of us are in the military and it's a crappy way to deal with customers who the server blatantly lied to. The military discount ($5.07 ) didn't add up to the cost of the drinks. Not even close. One was $10.75 and the other was $9.75. I've attached photos of the receipt. Then the person that had cleaned the booth apparently didn't do a good job as the hostess cleaned it again before she sat us at the table. The wait person was super nice and friendly, however there was a wait to get our water and when our food was delivered they did not provide us with silver ware or napkins. Also, it took half an hour to get the food... At one point the restaurant phone was ringing and while there was several employees standing around, no one was answering it. The food was good, not memorable. The restroom had no toilet paper at all. , the trash cans were overflowing and a sink was out of order.
