I'll start with the positive: our server was pleasant, attentive, and I have no complaints about the service. Unfortunately, the food and overall experience didn't justify the prices. The biggest issue came before we even started eating. The silverware that was already on our table was dirty, with dried, crusted food still stuck to the fork. That was honestly disgusting. I mentioned it to the manager while he was checking on tables, and he immediately had it replaced with plastic utensils, which I appreciated. I don't know whether the problem happened during the dishwashing process or while the silverware was being rolled and placed on tables, but it never should have made it to a guest's table in that condition. As for the food, it was just mediocre across the board. We started with the Avocado Egg Rolls. They sounded much better than they tasted. The avocado and sun-dried tomatoes didn't come together in a flavorful way, and for around $16, they were a huge disappointment. They desperately needed more flavor and simply weren't worth the price. We also ordered the appetizer sampler with the mozzarella sticks, nachos, sliders, and boneless wings. The boneless wings were probably the best item we had, but they were still just okay. The mozzarella sticks were decent, the sliders were forgettable, and the nachos were bland and lacked flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the lemon pepper wings. Again, they were average at best. My husband had the jambalaya. It wasn't bad, but the portion size didn't match the price. Overall, the food reminded me of what I'd expect from a lower priced casual restaurant, yet the menu prices were noticeably higher. Nothing we ordered stood out or made us feel like the meal was worth what we paid. I appreciate that the manager addressed the dirty silverware immediately and that our server provided good service throughout the meal. However, good service alone isn't enough to make up for mediocre, overpriced food and a basic sanitation issue like dirty silverware. Unfortunately, this was a one-and-done experience for us. We won't be returning.

We came here for a party and overall the food was okay. The wings we had could've been cooked for a few more minutes, the skin wasn't really crispy. Our meals were good (well mine was better). I had the Chicken Parmigiana with extra sauce. My husband had the Parmesan Encrusted Chicken which wasn't as favorable. It had been sitting under the light and wasn't hot when it got to be table. Possibly would've been better had it came out on time but there isn't a good way to eat cold mashed potatoes and hard unseasoned broccoli. We were attending a birthday party at the time so maybe that's what contributed to the delay in bringing our food out but it did take away from our experience. I would try it again in hopes of a better experience as there are some drinks and desserts I'd be interest in trying

Dinner tonight at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Cary, North Carolina. This was not a planned stop but glad we decided to give it a try. My husband had the Tri Tip with a house salad and rice. He said it was cooked right and tender. I had the Spicy Pig pizza and it was really good! I also had a lemon drop martini that was perfect! We ended the meal sharing the Triple Chocolate Pizookie...definitely yummy!

Went to dinner at BJ's brewhouse a few weeks ago. Always love the ambiance inside BJ's. Lots of tvs on with college sports on. We got seated right away and the hostess was very nice. Our waitress was friendly but she didn't visit our table to check for refills or anything very often. I got the Tri tip which was very good. The mixed veggies that it came with were kind of pathetic. It did not add to the dish at all. Kinda a let disappointment . The mashed potatoes were good. Portions seem to be getting smaller as well for a higher price. (Stupid inflation) Dessert we had the monkey bread pizookie. It was awesome. Must have been an off night. We will be back of course!

Stepping into BJ's sports bar is like walking into a river of noise, where laughter and cheers crash against each other like waves. The air is warm with the scent of salt and grease. Screens glow like constellations across the walls, each one orbiting its own small universe of players and scores. Beneath it all hums the heartbeat of strangers gathered for the same ritual: the clink of glasses, the rising shout, the hush before the next play. This sports bar suffers from a full-blown culinary identity crisis. The menu looks like it was written by a committee that never met each other: tacos elbowing in next to pasta, burgers flirting awkwardly with avocado egg rolls, and a section called "Sandwiches and Tacos" that is hardly sandwich and barely taco. It's as if someone Googled "foods people like" and copy-pasted the first 200 results. The vibe screams Bud Light and touchdowns, but the menu thinks it's auditioning for Top Chef: International Confusion. Order anything and you're basically signing up for an edible coin toss. Rumor has it this place started as a pizza joint, but what arrives at the table calls itself deep dish, but it looks more like something rescued from a high school cafeteria tray. The crust is thick but joyless, the sauce is a rumor at best, and the cheese is sprinkled on like an afterthought. Instead of the indulgent, molten pie you imagined, you get a sad bread bowl with stage fright. Enjoy the beer and service, Cheers!

Dawn was our server today. She was cheerfully making suggestions such as the Smoke House burger with onion rings. It was delicious and hit the spot for lunch. Ambience is casual with music and many diverse sports actio large screen televisions. The service is fast and accurate hot and ready from the kitchen. I highly recommend BJ's fun for family, couples, large groups in a private room. The full bar is magnificently stocked with many liquors, many brew House brands and soft drinks to satisfy everyone. Huge amount of parking in well marked and lighted parking lot and two handicapped zones Revolving door and large doors access a large open space air-conditioned summer and heated in winter. You need to check this place out!

I'm originally from California where I had a BJ's in my hometown and loved the options it offered. When I moved to the East Coast, there wasn't one anywhere near me. When I first came to Cary, NC and saw that one was here I always make sure to stop by at least once during my stay. BJ's as a whole offers rewards at each of their locations which is great for those who come often. They have a M-F happy hour that gives great discounts on appetizers and drinks. The interior offers plenty of seating and exudes a "bar-like" atmosphere. My husband and I sat at the bar which was not super busy upon arrival. We ordered two appetizers to share, and each got one menu item for ourselves. The food tasted great, and as I do on every visit, I partook in one glass of BJ's own Berry Burst Cider. Always a favorite of mine!

I ordered the BJ's Brewhouse Protein Bowl - vegetarian and GF I was surprised that this was a little spicy. I didn't have trouble with my stomach though. I asked for extra dressing which was a creamy dressing and went well with it. My husband had the small deep dish pizza, Pepperoni Extreme. He liked it very much. All in all it was a very good meal.

"Deep dish pizza" from pazookie menu

Ordered a deep dish pizza and received this. Unbelievable! On top of that, all of my party's food came cold and stale. I do not recommend eating here, food is overpriced and gross! Never even received my pazookie that ordered.

My family and I visited this restaurant after going to the movies on Friday night, July 5, 2024. We did not have reservations, but as they were not very busy, we were able to get seated right away. It has a great atmosphere conducive for solo visits and large groups. The staff was professional and friendly. We did not feel rushed so we were able to take our time perusing the menu and ordering several dishes. Our server, Chloe H, was delightful. She took great care of us and brought our dishes out in a timely manner. I had lots of questions about menu items, and she was gracious enough to spend some time answering my questions and making sure that I had all the information that I needed. We ordered various things from the menu. The food in general was good, but there was no pizzazz. My lemon pepper wings were OK, but was not what I imagined for it being roasted and prepared in the way that it was described in the menu. The lemon pepper seasoning was not ingrained in the flavor of the wings. It was more like if the lemon pepper seasoning was sprinkled over the wings. I enjoyed the onion rings but again it was just standard, nothing special. The surf and turf and salmon dishes were alright. Of everything ordered, the highlight was the PIZOOKIE®. Overall, we had an enjoyable time with our visit at this restaurant. We did visit this restaurant after 9:30 PM at night so perhaps that's why we didn't have that level of excitement about the food. I will consider visiting this restaurant a little earlier on in the day at another time to see if there's a difference in the quality of the food.

Their roast beef panini is on par with Portillo's a long standing Chicago beef restaurant (IYKYK). I've NEVER had a beef sandwich that was better than Portillo's but Postino you managed to take a hometown classic and elevate it to a point beyond my expectations - if you get this sandwich I recommend getting it on the ciabatta bread versus focaccia. Let's not overlook the tomato soup - it's so rich and flavorful. For a lighter lunch my go to is the tuna panini with broccoli salad. They are known for their boards, I've not had the bruschetta yet but it looks delicious. My favorite board is the hummus. One thing I hate is when a restaurant gives you a big bowl of hummus and not enough pita. That is not the case here, you'll get pita, toasted bread, and a variety of vegetables to scoop up the velvety humus covered in cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta. For date night enjoy a Violet Femme a gin cocktail that tastes as lovely as it looks. The service here is top notch! Everyone is fantastic. I'll have to come back to this review to note the serves names we've had because they have all been exceptional. Now let's talk about the vibe! Postino's nailed the indoor/outdoor feel. Plenty of windows that are open on nice days, plants galore and the decor gives you a cool like rockstar but classy feel. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough.

If it's a beautiful day, I'd definitely recommend sitting outside instead. Still, the inside has a cozy, laid-back feel that works well. Shoutout to Qua, who was both the hostess and our server. She was welcoming, attentive, and handled everything smoothly, even as a few more parties came in while she was the only one serving at the time. One thing I really appreciated was that she let us know upfront what items were out of stock before we even looked at the menu. That level of transparency is huge and makes the experience so much better. My son ordered a slider with fries from the kids' menu. It comes with just one slider, so I ordered a second, definitely the right call. He enjoyed it, and the fries were cooked well, just a little on the salty side for our taste (ketchup helped balance that out). I had the shrimp tacos. It's packed and perfect portion for lunch. The shrimp, pineapple slaw, and chipotle mayo was a nice mix. The restaurant was clean (including the bathrooms). The location is also a plus, super close to the Art Museum, which makes it a great stop before or after visiting. Overall enjoyable, and I'd come back, especially to try more of the menu and the drinks.

You'll want to park on a side street and walk up to the restaurant. When you walk into the restaurant you'll be transported to a dark, warm, intimate, and buzzy neighborhood vibe. I'd definitely recommend booking a reservation to ensure you are able to get a table. Once we were seated I started by ordering the Long Time Listener Cocktail (Bourbon, Blackberry, Mint, Fernet-Branca) which was excellent and probably my favorite drink of the evening. For my other drink I tried the Structured Settlement (coconut washed tequila, peach, popcorn orgeat, and lime). This drink was also good, but not as good as the long time listener. For food, we started with the Manchego-Herb Biscuits which were flaky, soft, and didn't need any butter. After that we tried the Heirloom Tomato Salad (provencal granola, mozzarella ice cream, and peaches) which was perfect. The large tomato with the crunchy granola, olive oil, and mozzarella and peaches were the perfect blend of flavors. I couldn't stop eating this dish. Next, we tried the Half Smoke Sausage (roasted peppers, garlic aioli, balsamic onion jus) which surprised me. The sausage had a bit of a spicy flavor, the roasted peppers were prepared perfectly, and overall the flavors paired perfectly together. We also ordered the Bucatini (sea urchin, gulf prawn, spicy tomato sauce) which was good with the pasta and all of the flavors mixed together. The last appetizer we ordered was the yellowfin tuna crudo (honeydew, Fresno chili, shiso, tom yum ice) which was perfect. The sliced honeydew with the raw yellowfin was so good!! For the entree we split the Grilled Bavette Steak (potato rosti, shishito pepper, and sauce choron). The steak cut like butter and was cooked perfectly. For dessert we ordered the blueberry upside down cake (popcorn streusel, sweet corn ice cream) which had fresh blueberries and I couldn't stop eating this dish. I'll have to add Crawford & Son to my regular Raleigh restaurant rotation as this meal was excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.

The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
