The pours were pretty good. The pricing on the per glass and per bottle prices seemed ok, maybe a tad higher than a restaurant. My favorites were the red wines. The Cabernet was especially nice. Becca offered to host. Originally she was going to donate wine to the venue but she was helpful enough to offer a place to have it instead. It was a lovely spot. No hard liquor, just beer, wine, cider, and mixed cocktails that are in that category. Beautiful venue. We would have had it outside but the weather was getting pretty cold so we moved inside. A little tight but still an overall success. Would definitely come back because of her hospitality and the wonderful staff. Also outdoors is great with open fire and heaters provided on patio sidewalk. Wine selection is extensive also offering Natural Wines a new wine process. The food was delicious I especially recommend the miso butter scallops ($18). They also had reasonably priced charcuterie boards. Lastly, for dessert you can have your choice of s'mores to enjoy out on the patio.

I had had the opportunity to try three of their wines at a Yelp event earlier in the year, so I was thrilled to try their entire expanse of wines. We were fortunate enough to meet Jenna, their sommelier, and Joe, the co-founder, while we were there and got an extensive education in their unique wines made from grapes that can are designed to grow at high elevations with rough environments. The hybrid grapes make for distinctive flavors that are delightful to sip on. I loved the La Crosse (white) and the St. Croix (red). For those not into beer (like me), this is a great wine lovers oasis in the Reno Brewery District, and the opportunity to experience something uniquely RenoTahoe. Some expected wines from France and California, but also some more obscure ones from places such as Austria, so there is something for every taste! You can both order a wine by the glass or buy a bottle, which they will open for you to have onsite and that you can also take home if you don't finish it. Their prices are fair for a bottle and I wish I had done that instead of ordering a glass. The service was great! We had a huge group, yet the server was super patient and provided great recommendations to everyone. She was running around the whole time to take care of us and other patrons, but always did it with a smile on her face. I never felt rushed. They have limited snack options for purchase but allow you to bring in your own snacks as well. Finally, the space. It is on the smaller size but we were able to fit our group in without issues, while still leaving some open tables for other patrons. They also provide service on a handful of outdoor tables. The only minor issue is they had live music which felt quite loud in such a small place, but when asked, they were able to lower the volume a bit which was very nice of them!
