Pretty new ownership. I met the owner Becca who was wonderful and super nice. We had some friends of my son who just got married and their original venue canceled on them. Becca offered to host. Originally she was going to donate wine to the venue but she was helpful enough to offer a place to have it instead. It was a lovely spot. No hard liquor, just beer, wine, cider, and mixed cocktails that are in that category. Beautiful venue. We would have had it outside but the weather was getting pretty cold so we moved inside. A little tight but still an overall success. Would definitely come back because of her hospitality and the wonderful staff. Also outdoors is great with open fire and heaters provided on patio sidewalk. Wine selection is extensive also offering Natural Wines a new wine process. The food was delicious I especially recommend the miso butter scallops ($18). They also had reasonably priced charcuterie boards. I must preface this review by saying I do not enjoy wine. However, I love this establishment! This is the second time my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting. We thoroughly enjoy their outdoor patio with ambient fire pits. We ordered their small bites and champagne and all of their food is sensational, full of flavor and the presentation is lovely. We did have to place our order at the counter, but that doesn't pose a terrible inconvenience to us, as their employees have always been friendly and enjoyable. Elevated Wine Experience is a hidden gem in South Lake Tahoe! The wine tasting options offer an incredible variety at an amazing value, making it easy for anyone to enjoy a top-tier experience without breaking the bank. But if you're in the mood to splurge, there are fantastic premium options as well. I chose the three premium red wine tasting, and every pour was absolutely delicious. The owner, Alex, made fantastic recommendations, tailoring the experience to my preferences. The 2015 ST. JORGE OLD VINE ZINFANDEL was chefs kiss. My friend opted for the premium white wine tasting and fell in love with the Chardonnay (2019 SILVESTRI CHARDONNAY), so much so that it's now her new favorite! The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in until the very end. Even though we stayed a little past closing, we never felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing anyone and had to get out. Instead, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed. It felt almost like having wine at home with new friends. One of the standout details was the selection of books around the space. The "Winery Dogs" books were fun, but we absolutely loved the "Where's Waldo?" books! It was such a unique touch that encouraged us to unplug from our phones and enjoy a fun, interactive moment together. Beyond the ambiance, the knowledge and passion behind the wine selections were evident. The way each wine was explained (its origins, flavors, and nuances) made it feel like we were at a vineyard rather than a wine bar on the main strip. It was an immersive, educational, and enjoyable experience all in one. Unfortunately, we had dinner beforehand, so we didn't get to try the food, but I'll definitely be back to pair some oysters with their amazing wine selection! We did, however, try a slice of the tiramisu cheesecake paired with a port, at Alex's recommendation, and it was absolutely delicious. If I had one regret, it's that I was so immersed in the experience that I forgot to take pictures until we were headed out the door! But honestly, that just speaks to how much we enjoyed every moment. I'll definitely be back. Next time, maybe I'll remember to snap a few photos before I get lost in the wine and great company! We spent $140 and left starving and sober. Some things they did well: wine was very good. Server was knowledgeable about the wine and was very nice. Some things they did poorly: it was a red flag that we walked in at prime time for apres ski on a Saturday night and the establishment had only one other patron. The food tasted mediocre. Some of the dishes (scallops) were bad and made me worry we would get ill afterwards. Very odd also that they insisted on serving the wine tastings whites with reds. Typically wine aficionados will have whites then roses and then reds as the stronger flavors mask the subtleties of earlier wines in the progression. This was not allowed here for some reason. Overall we felt scammed. We had to go somewhere else to have an actual full dinner with drinks afterwards. Might be worth a visit for the drinks. Do NOT recommend any of the small bites. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday around 3pm. There was no wait and we were greeted by a very friendly lady who seated us immediately. She was super helpful during our experience. The place is very clean, and they use QR code menus. The restroom is also very nice and very clean. I ordered the Chardonnay (which I loved) and my husband had 2 beers. Our tab total was $50 which I felt was reasonable. The pour on the wine glass was generous. We loved our experience here and we were surrounded by other people who seemed happy too. The tastings were very delightful we ordered a bottle from list and a charcuterie board everything was well prepared. The benches are comfortable; personally I like a more relaxing setting for wine-drinking. The music is pop/dance, club style. That, with the lack of soft seating, seems a little incongruent for a wine bar. We're here on a Tuesday for the advertised $30 Hog Island Oysters. They come without cocktail sauce or horseradish, neither of which are actually available, even on request. We thought that unfortunate. The wine is good; the bartender's knowledge is top notch and good came quickly. He said he'd conveyed the many requests for horseradish and cocktail sauce to management, without results yet. We are the truffle eggs too fast to get a photo; they're tasty. The oysters are also really good! We only wish we had a bit more of a normal-sized table upon which to eat. The menu is excellent, better than many places around. Pricewise, we had two glasses of wine, the truffle eggs, and a dozen oysters on special; after tip we left a hundred and five dollars behind. In Lake Tahoe, I stopped in by chance to a wine bar. The decor indoors was upscale with a marble bar, beautiful light fixtures. The wine is absolutely delicious! I like sweet wine and tried the red and white Zinfandel- very remarkable. I also partaked in the charcuterie board which was a nice pairing. Family friendly with my toddler in the couch seats. Randomly came in here after seeing a sign for cider tastings outside and I'm so glad we did. They don't serve food but they have damn good cider. A good variety and a tasting is 3 for $12. Hello, I dropped into this establishment on a whim. My mother, daughter and myself happened to be walking past, and decided to drop In for a glass of wine. I realized it was 15 minutes before closing; however, I wasn't going to be in town to experience this place the following day. The gentleman who was working demonstrated the worst customer service I've ever experienced. He was not friendly. It felt like an extra effort to serve us. Overall sort of a meh experience and definitely not worth the price. Bacon wrapped dates were good but the falafel & crab crake were pretty disappointing. I'm not sure the $20 single crab cake even classifies as a crab cake, it completely missed the mark. We had the 6 premium red wine testing for $45 each. Some were better than others, but we were disappointed to learn 3/6 were from the same winery and 2 others were also the same winery. We asked if they switch the wines for the tastings and were told no because they buy in bulk for discounts. That was enough for us to know we'll never be back if the tasting is always the same. The place was absolutely beautiful and very nice and clean. There was only one employee working that day, we went around 415-430. Their menu looked stunning, which was one reason why we decided to go there. Once we got there we were bummed to find out their kitchen was still under renovations and 3/4 of their menu was off limits. The guy said he could only basically put a cheese board together for us.
