The father and son team were easy going and nice to work with. Our budget was tight, as we were investing heavily in wedding photography, so we were happy to find them pretty late in the planning process, and appreciated their flexibility. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. Their turnaround was quick, and they gave us a beautiful memory that we hoped for, and created affordable duplicate copies for us to share with our family as well.

We chose Greg to DJ our wedding in Auburn, CA. It was easy to work with him and he is very…read moreenthusiastic. There was a mix-up with e-mails at one point regarding where we would meet for a meeting. It wasn't a big deal, but he had confirmed the time and meeting place over e-mail, but forgot he had done so. We both ended up in two different places, my fiance and I in the place we had agreed upon in e-mail and Greg at another location. Thankfully we could still meet with him that day, but we had to drive to him. The day before the wedding, I called Greg to see if we could book the video, so he and his son are definitely very flexible. Though, somehow he already had it in his notes that we wanted a video, which we had never confirmed. He also asked questions about the ceremony and reception, though we had already had the conversation at a previous meeting and in e-mails. There were just enough small hiccups that made me wonder if he was fully prepared. In the end, Greg did a great job with the ceremony and reception. Other than at the very start of the ceremony, the mics worked very well and everyone could hear what was being said. As the bridal party was lining up to be announced into the reception, there was some confusion for Greg regarding the line-up, even though we outlined who would be walking together. I am not sure why this happened, but my husband was able to help sort things out. The reception ran very smoothly and he played the songs we wanted for the most part. I specifically told him not to play slow songs, but he started the dancing with two slow songs. This was quickly fixed once I told him to not play anymore. We also asked him to play music in the order of generations (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.). This didn't really happen, but he played songs we liked, so it was fine in the end. I just worried the older folks didn't feel a part of the dancing as much, though many still joined in. We ordered the video option. It is awesome to know we have a video of our day and we can always watch it again and again. It turned out a little differently than we anticipated in terms of length (it's over an hour), so we may shorten it ourselves in some way if possible. The use of the drone was a great addition. I would say if you want someone to document your day, this is a great option and is very affordable compared to most videographers. But it isn't going to be creatively cut and there are times when the video is a little shaky. Overall, Greg and his son did a pretty good job. There was some hiccups along the way, but really nothing major. Both Greg and his son were pleasant and friendly. Greg is also very reasonably priced.

I have waited almost two years to write this review because I have tried to give myself time to see…read moreif my opinion changed. it has not. while there are other reviews that praise 4joy media, I cannot give a good review. my wedding pictures were not good. i have more photos of table settings than I do family members. all the photos of family, bridal party, and myself + husband were taken in the same spot. my wedding was outside in a beautiful wooded area and all the photos were done under the arch in the same spot. there are no poses photos. just people standing by. no fun photos or artistic photos. just groups of people, standing next to me and my husband, under the arch, smiling...sometimes. I have only two photos where my husband and I are not kissing. Casey likes kiss photos a lot! I do not. but I have lots of kiss photos. some photos are blurry. most of the family photos have people blinking, looking away, or not smiling. the only photo I have with my mom, her eyes are closed. When I asked Casey if there were any that didn't have those issues she told me it was because people were taking photos with their cell phones and not her fault. while there is a possibility of that, prior to photos we announced over the loudspeaker for guests to go inside and for anyone who was staying to put away cell phones, and they did! I also know this because I have asked everyone for their cell phone photos and no one has given me any because they put theirs away when Casey was working. so these are just the result if Casey's skill. also, group photos look odd. people are standing at odd angles or everyone is bunched together except one straggler off to the side. things just look off. There were many unflattering angels taken of me that made my figure look awful! I asked her about that and she said it was her artistic expression. In one photo I looked pregnant because she took it from under me. While Casey and her husband are very kind people, I cannot recommend her photography skills. Now, maybe this was all my fault. I wasn't a bridzilla who wanted to control and direct everything. I hired Casey and wanted to enjoy my wedding while the she captured it. I wanted her artistic skills to enhance my wedding memories. However, she is a nice lady with a nice camera, but she is not a photographer. maybe she has gotten better since it has been two years. I regret not shopping around more. she had some good reviews on Yelp. I liked her website. but what I got was not what I thought I would get. anyways, I paid Casey and have everything downloaded on my computer. when I look at those photos I get very upset because the day is gone, the event is over, and a redo isn't possible. i have one good photo that I like of me and my husband. but, I would not say it is a miraculously beautiful photo. it's just a nice photo that could have been taken by anyone. we look happy in it. that's what I came out with. I guess one is better than none.
