Sometimes you don't want to leave your hotel even if it means settling for overpriced mediocre food. That's the story here. The chicken wings were really tough, the vegetable soup was dull, and the steak salad was simply pretty bad. BUT, the next morning the eggs benedict was pretty darn good.

Best cocktails! Abdul the bartender is the man! Great food and great conversation. Super attentive to his customers needs and I always have a great time when I'm there.

Great service, awesome staff personnel, and AMAZING FOOD! The restaurant is close to the lobby of the hotel and is actually open to the public as well as guests!

If you want healthy, flavorful, and filling dishes, come to True Food Kitchen…read more As soon as you enter, you'll take in the clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing interior. I will ALWAYS only start with their Iced Shakerato (organic espresso and brown sugar). I cannot recommend this drink, enough. Yes, even in the winter! We started with the Edamame Dumplings (white truffle oil, dashi, Thai basil, sesame seeds), Charred Cauliflower (medjool dates, harissa tahini, dill, mint, pistachio), the Seasonal Roasted Butternut Squash Soup (garnished with sage). All these starters were consumed within seconds, were at optimal temperatures, and the sauce that covered each cauliflower was exquisite. The entrees were: Ancient Grains Bowl (organic grains, miso sesame glazed sweet potato, charred onions, snap peas, portobello, avocado, pistachio pesto, hemp seeds, turmeric) and the Chicken Tender Plate (four tenders served with simple salad). The Grains Bowl was packed with healthy and tasty ingredients and the Chicken Tenders were only lightly battered, soft to chew, and came with four large pieces. I will, most definitely, be a happy return customer to True Food Kitchen and it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Ohhhhh.... ONE MORE THING AND PLEASE, KEEP IN MIND.....one of the reasons I visited was for the Chia Seed Pancakes, but their brunch menu is ONLY served "during weekends," from open until 3:00 PM.

The service was ok this time around. I originally ordered the rancher's hash which over easy eggs instead of sunny side since I'm expecting and want to make sure to eat foods that are well cooked instead of under, but it came with sunny side anyway. The avocado looked like it was going bad and still had the skin on it...I've never seen an avocado served like that in a restaurant before...almost bad and with the skin still on it. I also wasn't aware it would have steak slices as it doesn't specify that in the description of the rancher's hash so I assumed it'd be crumbled ground beef...either way, the bowl itself didn't look as appetizing as it sounded in the description. I opted to switch to the grass fed burger I had my first visit here and it was ok, first time was definitely better than this time around and the air fried fries were ok, most of them underneath the initial picture look and tasted overcooked which was another disappointment. I enjoyed with my lavender matcha, Margherita sourdough pizza (YUM!) and the brussel sprouts for our starters. This visit was certainly disappointing on Mother's Day. I really want to recommend and keep coming back for the fact that it's health consciousness menu but don't want to pay for 'just ok' food either...nor recommend a place that's just ok.

Came here on a Friday night, walked inside the bar not knowing the restaurant entrance is on the parking lot, people were nice to point us through the kitchen to the restaurant. The place is very interesting, a lot of different artwork and decor. They serve complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Started off with the Cowboy Calamari ($19.95) and it was delicious. The calamari was nice and crispy, it was drizzled with some sort of sweet sauce. This was actually the highlight of the night, I highly recommend getting this. For my main, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye ($24.95) with onion rings ($4). The ribeye was bigger than 12 oz, it was huge. I got it medium but it came out medium rare, which if fine with me. The ribeye was good and very filling, just know you get what you pay for. Overall it was a good experience with interesting atmosphere. * Reatuarant entrance on the side of parking lot * Parking on premise and Street parking * Get the Cowboy Calamari

Beet juice is refreshing and made to order. Service was spectacular. Now, what grinds my gear is this "fall menu". Clearly stated, drinks can be made hot or cold. Except, thats not true. I order a hot banana latte -- they couldn't make it hot saying, "it tastes different and bad". Ok. So we go through the many with our waitress of ones I cannot order hot, and end up with the carrot cake latte. Tasted nothing near of carrot cake, but was ok for me. It tasted like a latte, and was warm which checked off my box. Strawberry Matcha was really nice also as a warm beverage, however they kept trying to advise me against ordering. Will be back, just not as frequently as I was hoping.

She was very attentive and made our meal pleasant and comfortable. I started with a Blood Orange Margarita (Calirosa 'Rosa Blanca' Tequila, orange liqueur, fresh sour, blood orange). This drink was VERY GOOD. The hint of blood orange was the perfect amount of sweetness and I was content with my selection. The appetizer was the Slow-Roasted Meatballs (porcini-dusted veal, pork, grass-fed beef, tomato-basil sauce, brick-oven bread). Each meatball was tender, flavorful, well seasoned, and the sauce was sufficient to accompany every forkful of the delicious starter. The entrees were: Caramelized Sea Scallops (broccolini, mascarpone risotto). Next was the Seasonal Brick-Oven Gnocchi (roasted mushrooms, truffle oil, roasted tomatoes, Marsala and provolone sauce, green onions). The final entree was the Mediterranean Wood-Grilled Chicken Salad (arugula, toybox tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, chickpeas, quinoa, feta, lemon dijon vinaigrette). For dessert, Seasons 52 graciously offered a free dessert for my birthday. Another nice touch that places Seasons 52 on a pedestal. I chose the Key Lime Pie Mini (graham cracker crust, whipped cream). The mini dessert was deliciously sweet, the graham crust provided an appreciated different texture, and I highly recommend these mini selections.

A quick heads-up: on Google Maps it's listed as Ceviche 517, but the sign on the building says Tavern 517, which initially threw us off. We were circling around until we decided to just trust the physical address--and we're so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, the name didn't even matter anymore. The decor is stunning--definitely has an upscale, Instagram-worthy vibe with a modern lounge feel. We might've come a little early because the place was quiet when we arrived, but that worked in our favor as we got to settle in comfortably and explore the menu. Drinks were a mixed experience. We tried the margarita flight, which included coconut, passion fruit, and strawberry. The coconut and passion fruit margaritas were absolutely delicious--fresh, balanced, and memorable. The strawberry, however, was a big miss--tasted like kid's medicine and no one at the table could finish it. We also ordered a drink called something like Chicola--it had ginger ale, lime juice, and some type of liquor, and unfortunately, it was another one we couldn't get through. The flavors just didn't mix well, and everyone at the table agreed it was a no for us. On the flip side, the Perfect Mule with a strawberry twist, the Henny Mojito, and a bold and fun drink called No Sheets were much better received. Menus are displayed on sleek tablets, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the in-house menu offered way more options than what's listed online. And the food? Absolutely excellent. The Tallarín Saltado with vegetables was beyond delicious--we placed it in the center so everyone could dig in. The ceviche flight was fresh and flavorful, and the jalea (a fried seafood platter) didn't last long on the table either. One friend had the larger ceviche bowl paired with a mojito and already asked to come back just for that combo. Even the kid's arroz chaufa with chicken impressed us, with a big enough portion for leftovers. If there's one thing that fell flat, it was the atmosphere--at least early in the evening. When we arrived, the music playing sounded like retro video game tunes, but thankfully it transitioned into upbeat Spanish hits, including some great bachata that gave the space some energy. All in all, despite a few drink misses and a quiet start, this spot is a gem. The food alone is worth the trip, and we're definitely planning to return--next time a little later in the evening to hopefully catch a livelier vibe!

We were initially told the wait would be 25 minutes -- totally reasonable. But after receiving a text 15 minutes later saying we were next, we returned only to be told the kitchen was backed up and it would be another 15 minutes. Then came multiple conflicting texts, including one saying we were being removed from the waitlist for not responding... while we were literally standing there. We were finally seated about 20 minutes after that. It only got worse. It took 40 minutes for food to arrive, and even then, my daughter was served first while my husband and I waited another 15 minutes for ours. The food itself was incredibly disappointing: "poached" eggs that were basically hard-boiled, burnt toast, burnt sausage, and scrambled eggs that came out as a firm, molded mound instead of anything soft or freshly made. To top it off, the entire restaurant felt chaotic. We heard multiple crashes from the kitchen, servers openly complaining, and even staff encouraging the host not to walk out mid-shift. Meanwhile, takeout and delivery orders were flying out while dine-in customers sat waiting for long stretches. Overall, disorganized, poorly managed, and not worth the time or money. We won't be returning.
