Despite living in North Carolina for the past 13 years, I've never been to a biscuitville! I get coupons every year for my birthday to get a free sandwich here, so I figured I would finally try it out. I've definitely been missing out on some good food! Their biscuit sandwiches are absolutely delicious! And it seems like the employees are friendly, and keep the place spotlessly clean!

Why can't New York have awesome places like this? When you proudly display your biscuit making operation, you know the quality is going to be there. Awesome food, only wished I could have visited more times to try the entire menu.

The food was ok. Biscuits weren't that good. Biscuits and sausage were dry. The service was ok.

I make a point of stoping into a Biscuitville anytime I'm visiting NC. Their biscuits are so good! Visited location after a running 5 miles and it was soooo worth the trip! Biscuits are always fresh and delicious! This time I also tried their grits and OMG I dashed some sugar in and dug in. They were equally delicious!

The location on western has opened! I went on 9/10 for their pre-opening friends and family event and they were giving away free food! The building is bright and airy and looks very clean. There were a ton of staff. We were greeted at the door and offered a sample of blueberry muffins - it was delicious. When I got to the counter I ordered a spicy chicken and honey biscuit combo, with French fries and a Diet Pepsi. It came out super fast and it was delicious!! Highly recommend that biscuit. They also have ranch and honey mustard in little cups that they keep refrigerated so it's nice and cold. The ranch is great to dip your fries in. With an array of fast food restaurants on Western, biscuitville did some great marketing and hopefully they are here to stay. I could see this as a great option before an N.C. State football game.

Here waiting in line 28 Mina to close. Linea rapped around building. Staff shortage

This place has been around for years same concept and same customer service no matter the location I haven't had any bad experiences. This location is new the staff was very attentive and ensured that I felt welcome when I entered the door and they even invited me back. It's great they get your name when you order. Of course the food was great as usual. I will return to this location.

I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.

As of this review they are the #2 most reviewed place in Raleigh only behind the Pit. When we went last week for a farewell dinner it took us 3 weeks to get in. We got turned away 2 other times. The place was always packed and busy yet cozy and calm with great service. Hopefully they relocate or put some of the items from the menu at Pooles. Fuquay could use a nice place like this and it would be way cheaper than Raleigh! Best of luck to the staff in the future as they all look for work.

The fries were really good (even I enjoyed them!), and the mac and cheese was definitely the favorite. The adults ordered a double combo with pulled pork and brisket, and it was big enough to easily split between two people. My husband and I both got the Pit bacon cheeseburger, and it was so good and huge. I ended up taking half home for later. My husband also got mac and cheese and shared it with the kids, while I ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were amazing. The staff was really friendly, and everything came out nicely. Tupelo Honey -- A Different Experience This Time…read more We decided to revisit Tupelo Honey during our trip through North Carolina because we had such a great experience the first time we visited. Our first visit was for breakfast/brunch, and we really enjoyed it, so this time we decided to stop in for a late lunch. We originally came looking for chicken wings, but we were told they had recently changed the menu and no longer offered them. So, we decided to try some other things. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were served over polenta with a reddish sauce drizzled around them. The tomatoes were fried nice and firm--they didn't fall apart and held their texture well. I enjoyed the appetizer. For our entrees, we tried several things: bourbon meatloaf, breakfast potatoes, fried chicken, fried okra, roasted Brussels sprouts, and grilled harvest chicken. The food portions were generous, and everything was well seasoned. However, this meal was more of a "just okay" experience for us. The bourbon meatloaf was okay, although you definitely have to be in the mood for meatloaf. The breakfast potatoes, fried okra, Brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, green beans, and grilled harvest chicken were all decent but didn't really stand out. The fried chicken was very well seasoned--perhaps a little too well seasoned for my taste, as it leaned toward salty. Our drinks were good, and I still enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was also friendly and attentive, which helped make the experience pleasant. Overall, this visit didn't quite live up to our first experience. My husband was especially disappointed. That said, I wouldn't completely rule Tupelo Honey out. Sometimes a restaurant has an off day, and I'd be willing to give it another try--especially since we enjoyed our first visit so much.

My boyfriend is a huge whiskey drinker and had been wanting to visit here for a while. He had heard that the best Old Fashioned were here (he said that it was not that great), and while they did have bougie cocktails, I settled for a margarita. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere and decor were great! I am a plant person, so I loved seeing all of the plants. I love the open concept and exposed ceiling. But the food......was displeasing and unappetizing. I ordered the lamp burger, and while I ordered it as well done, I did not know that it would be presented overcooked with a charred outside. If you know lamb, this caused the meat to be extremely dry. The burger itself was very bland and lacked much flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Fireman's Chicken and by the looks of it when it came out, someone should have called the fire department while it was cooking! It was so burnt it was black. The only flavor present was charred meat and it was the most dried out chicken we have ever had (unfortunately I tried it). The collard greens were bitter with little flavor and the black-eyed peas still had crunch to where they weren't cooked all the way. To say all this, to have a $100 bill was HIGHLY unappreciated as it was one of the worst meals we have had in a LONG time. I definitely could see why they were not busy. The food was cooked terrible. And I will note that it isn't that I am picky, the couple next to us barely ate their meal and looked just as dissatisfied as we were. We would NOT recommend!

I took a seat at the outdoor bar and started with some smoked wings. 5 whole wings, so really 10 wings at most places. Meat was juicy enough, maybe I was hoping for more of a dry rub though. I used the tangy BBQ sauce and sweet BBQ sauce on them, and they certainly enhanced the flavor. I usually like mustard based sauces, but theirs was little more peppery than I wanted Then, per the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the brisket melt sandwich, and it was the undisputed highlight of the meal Muenster cheese, thinly sliced white onion, pickle chips, and a good load of horseradish sauce. The brisket had an amazing flavor, and all the other toppings came together beautifully. But that Union bakery bun is just another level. It's like brioche, it was so soft, but somehow a little more substantial. For my side dish, I went with the sweet potatoes with goat cheese, pepitas, and agave. This was just ok. For me, the potatoes could have been cooked longer, a little more crispness would have really helped. I did think the goat cheese was a unique flavor with a milder ingredient like a sweet potato, but it did work with the other ingredients pretty well. Only one unisex bathroom and it's small, so be warned!

We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing.
