Loved this place! It was a little awkward coming into the restaurant because someone was at the front paying and so we stepped out of the way, then another couple came in and got seated before us. But besides that, the food was great! We had a cinnamon roll, stuffed French toast (should have been called "loaded French toast" because the cream cheese was simply in between slices of bread) and a chicken waffle Benedict. On DoorDash they're also listed as "Big Fat Breakfast Burritos" which was interesting to see when we Googled the address and drove here it was actually the business of Biscuits Cafe. We had assumed it was a FoodCart. Biscuits Cafe has a lot of seating and an extensive menu. We were here for the burritos though. The interior is almost like an open concept kind of dining because you can see the kitchen, servers and the bar as well is visible. I know what open concept means but their counters are very out in the open and everything is exposed. It did trip me out a little bit because if you're walking to and from the restroom you could easily touch something. What about children getting into things? The kitchen employees/servers need more counter space so the food isn't close to the register or other restaurant non-food items. Things need to be a little more neat and organized. Our food was delicious though the burritos weren't as big as they made it seem on DoorDash, just your standard burrito size making them overpriced. The service was kind and the preparation of food was great! We definitely appreciated the vegan options as we would rate it a 3.7 but for having vegan options we gave it the four stars. read more

Biscuits Cafe is good, but average at best. Obviously they're known as being a breakfast joint, so I had to try them out. This location seems like a place where a lot of local go, as it's small and simply convenient. Highlights: = Parking / Dining / Service = BC is located in a tiny corner with enough shared parking. As for dining, there are plenty of tables for large groups and small groups. No big issue with service. Although, a couple of waitress' looked like they didn't wanna be there. After eye contact, they never smiled. No biggie, but at least our server was cordial and on-point. ++ Food ++ I only ordered the Chicken Fried Steak ($12.49) which was OK. The CFS breading was pretty crunchy, and the hash crispy. A tasty breakfast that was definitely fillimg. I should've asked for more gravy if anything. ~ Note: The fresh cinnamon rolls looked so damn good with it's thick frosting all smothered on top. As did the cookies, they were huge! === Overall === It's decent for a 'go-to' breakfast joint, and I can see why. I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something different. Ordered an eggs benedict with a side of biscuits and it has to be the worst eggs and biscuits I've ever had. The poached eggs were hard boiled when I asked for soft, and the biscuits tasted like day old biscuits that were simply reheated. Not worth the price they're asking for. If I was hungover this would've made me throw up. read more

I ate here on a Monday afternoon since I was off and was craving breakfast. It's your typical diner setup. The inside is clean, and parking is easy because it's in a small strip mall. (from Baseline you can see it but parking is on the back side of the strip) The menu has a nice amount of options. It offers most breakfast favorites and a few things that aren't as common (sweet potato pancakes, chicken and waffles) O ordered the chicken apple sausage breakfast deal, which came with two eggs, hash browns, and biscuits. Those were three fat ass sausages, y'all. But they tasted really good. For 13 bucks it was filling and I didn't even finish. Would recommend to anyone who wants some classic breakfast. read more

There isn't much to say because this place is awesome I brought my puppy and the staff brought him a bowl and we both ordered a ton of food. It was very fast on delivery and everything came out correctly. Which is funny because I had a difficult order! But I love this place and it would be the best breakfast place in Portland if they served alcohol! read more

We have been coming here for 15 years, until recently. The quality has gotten worse post pandemic. The prices went up to $18 to 20 avg per person. I normally get the chicken and waffles. This time my chicken was a frozen chicken patty. I was shocked. I told the waiter of the problem because it used to be a deep-fried full piece of chicken breast. He said to take it up with the owner. Terrible service and quality. We are never coming back. This is unfortunate because it was our go to in the neighborhood. They just don't care about the food and patrons anymore. read more

Love eating there but take out they need to wrap pickles separately under sandwich section paper. because my California club sandwich Roll was soggy on the bottom when I got home to Hillsboro by airport. Was a hair in my food, table was dirty covered in spilled syrup in one area, waited like 20 mins to get my order taken and then 30-45 mins before it started to arrive at the table, didn't arrive all at once, they forgot to give me the side of fruit I ordered, but they didn't forget to charge me for it. Had to ask for extra napkins 3 times and got them finally when I was almost done eating. I wanted some napkins to clean up the mess of syrup spilled on the table. Indoor dining during COVID. Staff wearing masks and limited seating. Very good breakfast. So glad they had gluten free waffles for my daughter which she said were excellent. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and I had the Chicken Fried Steak with soft scrambled crispy hashbrowns and biscuits. The service was great and they kept things clean; however, loss of one star for using a frozen patty for the Chicken Fried Steak. See photo of their motto on the wall, kinda disappointing, but the hashbrowns were amazing and made up for it just a bit. I haven't been to Biscuits Cafe in a couple of years. I used to live right around the corner, so it was a little more convenient. I remember it to be a really good breakfast with really fresh orange juice. Well, a group of us at work decided to go to breakfast after work. We end our shift at 5:45am. We mulled over our options out in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area, and there aren't a whole lot of options. I wasn't thrilled to go to IHOP or Shari's...and Biscuits came to mind. It wasn't the most convenient option. We work in Hillsboro, and Biscuits is in Beaverton. And even though we had to drive 20 minutes to get to Biscuits, we still had to wait until 6:30 for the restaurant to open. We were the first patrons of the day. Which was great for us. I was with a rambunctious group of guys. They are a loud and fun-loving group of guys! It was great that they could unwind after work in their normal raucous behavior.without fear of ruining someone else's breakfast. I ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice, and it was as sweet as I remembered it to be. There were so many interesting options on the menu, but finally decided on the Avocado Eggs Benedict with hash browns. I didn't really enjoy the hash browns as much as I thought I would, wish I would have tried the red potatoes instead. It had an oily taste to it. The waffles with diced bacon cooked into the waffles seemed interesting, my friend seemed to enjoy his order. I would have given the restaurant a 3.5 stars if that had been an option, but I enjoyed breakfast so much, that I bumped it up to 4 stars for the experience. The restaurant is cutely decorated and clean, service is good. Menu items seem interesting. I don't think I would go after work again...too far to drive, only to have to wait for the restaurant to open. But maybe on my day off, you'll see me there! read more

My boyfriend really likes eating here and I had been avoiding it since I am vegan and your typical breakfast spot does not have great vegan options. . The usual impossible burger or side of potatoes and veggies for $20. We finally came this morning and I was pleasantly surprised.. there is a complete vegan menu. I got the French toast plate.. complete with vegan sausage patties, a hearty helping of just eggs scrambled eggs, and the most amazing fluffy French toast. They even gave me a side of vegan butter. I was so happy with my food and the service was phenomenal. The plate was a little pricy, but WORTH EVERY PENNY. I will be back soon and hope to be sat in the same section. First time in a while I didn't go somewhere and left pissed off because I could have done it better myself. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my mom noted that the coffee is adequate (It's diner coffee. It's what you'd expect.) Their pricing is reasonable, and their quality of food is consistent every time I've been there. (Pretty good, but not great.) However, service here is always great. The staff are sweet and accommodating, and that's consistently true every single time I've dined here. On the weekends, it also gets quite crowded, especially in the mornings and around lunchtime.
