The chicken fried steak was great as was all the food. Been wanting to try one of these places for a while now. But as they are a true breakfast/lunch spot, they are closed by early afternoon. Which for most isn't an issue, but trying to get my family moving tends to be a chore on the weekends. So I tried the Kelbasa breakfast platter with red potatoes. I enjoyed it. The sausage was flavorful, not to heavy or greasy. Potatoes were well seasoned and cooked. The fresh biscuits were great. Fluffy, not like cement once you ingest it. And the strawberry preserves served with it was great. The wife had the fresh corned beef hash. It was quite good! Lots of flavor, moist, worth a try if you like corned beef. The pancakes had a nice flavor as well. Couldn't put my finger on it but they had an ever so slight hint of sweet to them. My daughter had fresh local fruit and whipped cream. Which was strawberries, and gone faster than I could type that. All in all a great little spot! Service was fast, friendly, and above average. The place is a bit tiny, as is the parking, so you may wait for both. But as a breakfast spot I would absolutely go back and take friends. read more

This is one great breakfast place. Their coffee is only good, but their food is great. Their sausage links are some of the best that I have had, and their bacon is thick cut even if they over cook it a bit which dries it out. Their french toast is outstanding. Recommended. Crowded. read more

Our first time here was fantastic; I ordered the corned-beef hash and it was awesome. Ever since then, the chefs can't cook an egg to save their life. No matter what, egg whites should be cooked, but these guys can't seem to get it right without giving you a scrambled egg. My first time here and it was very disappointing. It wasn't busy and I waited for 5 mintues to be seated and the lady said she'd get my server and water. My server came 5 mins later, no water yet. I ordered chicken strips and fries with a coffee. 15 mins later, no coffee, no food, no one checked on me. 3 waitresses saw me standing up to get someone's attention and no one came to help or check on me. Dropped in early morning after a tiring Friday night party. I was famished and could have hogged down anything on the menu, but ended up ordering the first in list- biscuits and gravy. Biscuits had nothing special to it(for having it's name on the billboard) and the gravy is not near as flavorful to the gravy you are used to in south. 3 stars for the charming waiter who made sure we had enough coffee to compensate for the mediocre food. read more

This is my favorite Biscuits Cafe. I didn't even know there were other Biscuits Cafes. I've tried two others and this is by far the best due to great customer service and friendly regular staff. This one isn't even the closest to our house, hehe. They have thick cut bacon, very important, and wonderful variety of pancakes and French toasts. Not happy with Biscuits. Went there today put our name in and it was never called. They started seating people that came after us. When we went in to check we were told that they called our name and we didn't answer. The girl never checked outside where we were waiting with other guests. Then instead of apologizing and saying we'll seat you next the girl put us back on the list and AT THE BOTTOM of the list!!! I would give them half a star for Rotten service!!! Not really one to yelp. But after hearing this was the Beaverton breakfast spot I had to come check it out for myself. Overall, the food is overpriced and underwhelming. My bacon was way to over cooked it almost tasted like jerky. The eggs were also over cooked. It was definitely a "I can do this better," experience. Was looking forward to a good breakfast at Biscuits. After standing at the doorway for easily 6-7 minutes without even being acknowledged, we left. At least 4 wait staff walked within. 3 feet of us. The cashier saw us as well. There were 4-5 empty tables. A young man seated the family in front of us and didn't acknowledge us at all. Even a "hey folks I'll be right with you" would have been fine.
